I've done the East Kent Railway. I've volunteered at the Chatham Historic Dockyard Railway just for fun a few times. Volunteering at a railway sounds fun. 6-year-old me would have been ecstatic at the thought! I'm going to have to Google that railway at some point, haven't heard of it. It's a very ...

Re: Albon at Red Bull from Spa!
Good for Albon. Is it, though? Albon has half a season to come to terms with a car that has been built around a driver who is the best we've seen in many years. Of course Albon might settle in and deliver immediately, but the odds are very much stacked in favour of him being consigned to the dustbi...

Re: Women in motorsport
So I have come to Brands Hatch to see the final race of the inaugural season of the W Series. Ecstatic to see a British race winner, a British championship winner, and 5 British drivers in the top 9 on the grid. Sad to see Esmee Hawkey's race fall to pieces though. She lined up on the second row of...

Jamie Chadwick If she has the Super Licence points then this would actually be quite a good call. Good marketing, quick driver, and if they're still at the arse-end of the field then she can't stand out by being especially bad if everything went sideways I don't think she has the points for it, eve...

I spoke to a Pirelli engineer I know who is embedded with McLaren (who happens to be the son of a bloke I work with) and he says there is a good probability of rain for saturday and sunday. 36C ambient yesterday so they esimate at least 55C track temperature. McLaren is looking good, according to him.
