Re: Ideas for more Reject Centrale articles

I'd love to see one about Williams' 1988 season with the Judd Engines personally, after how amazing the Williams Honda's had been that was a huge shock, especially with McLaren essentially dominating every race bar one (and even then they were dead certain to win it, thank you Monsieur Schlesser)

Re: Hello everyone! New members' check in desk

Not so much new, but since it's been ages since I've posted I might as well introduce myself again.

So yes, I'm Revelo from Bristol, F1 fan all my life, always enjoy reading the articles on the website and it's nice to have an f1 forum to chat on and meet new people. :)

Re: New Centrale article: Mansell's McLaren Melodrama

Brilliant article and one I really enjoyed reading. I always did wonder what had gone on behind the scenes with that ill-fated partnership. It is a sorry state of affairs too, Mansell was my idol growing up. When you are three years old watching him romp home to the title in 1992 and showing ounces ...

Re: Your Favourite Reject RACE????

2005 in the USA goes without saying really What about the two races at Las Vegas in 1981 and 82? I heard about the conditions the drivers had to endure and apparently was not popular with drivers and crowds. Every single race at Hungaroring. Sorry but no, thats utter bull. What about in 86, 92 and 9...

Can McLaren catch up?

Ok, So we all know well enough whats happened to McLaren and how well they have preformed during pre-season testing and during the qualifying. Although some nice driving by Lewis and a somewhat lucky 3rd place has at least gotten them off to a good start. So do people think they can play catch up to...

Re: Nelson Piquet, how long will he last?

And why was Sakon Yamamoto only allowed to do straight line testing? Because his head would fly off in fast corners! I think that every time i hear his name mentioned I suspect the marketing boost that the son of a former champion gives a team is probably the big reason he held his seat this year. ...

Re: AGS?

With all due respects to the people who run F1Rejects when I first logged onto the site a couple of years ago I was surprised to see the reject teams lacked an AGS article. But I realize they are busy and other things need to come first. Looking back i wonder why they did not merge with Coloni. Matc...

Re: Does anyone here rate Sebastian Bourdais?

Is he good? Well last year I was not sure initially. Both Toro Rosso drivers seemed to struggle. Then Vettel suddenly bloomed and left no doubt in my mind who the better of the two drivers were. I am surprised that he was kept on over Sato, a driver who might not be the best talent but has tons of d...

Re: Favourite Reject Driver and Team

I'm going to have to say Andrea Moda is my pick of the reject teams. After reading the account of them on the website I was inspired to get Perry McCarthy's book and see more of the goings on behind that shambles. it always gives me a couple of laughs when I am down. I was tempted to say Pacific due...

Re: Nelson Piquet, how long will he last?

I agree that Piquet will see out the season. if only to keep Alonso's ego inflated. I think thats where Piquet has stumbled to, by being put with Fernando and since it was at Renault everyone expected him to deliver results fast, but even so his still not good enough for F1.

Re: Jonathon Legard

I'm going to keep the jury out on Legard and the rest of the Beeb team until we see more of them. Since Brundle and Kravitz are the only people who have transfered over so they are going to need time to gel and develop a harmony. I personally didn't get a bad impression of Legard the same way I did ...
