What are the rules for this again? Is it 1 for taking the wing off, x2 if you do it against your team mate and x3 if the other driver retires as a result?

I can't believe this hasn't come up, so: m Anyway, I suppose it could be worse. It's not like Sky has got exclusive rights to ALL races, and at least the BBC will have highlights for every race. What I'm scared of is the precedent this sets, as it is now far easier for Sky to get exclusive rights to...

I'm surprised that no-one's really looked at Adelaide 94. Sure it's remembered for THAT collision, but there was a pretty special race underneath.
Monaco 96/84/82, Spa 98, Europe 99, Brazil 03 were up there because of the chaos and destruction that they caused.
Suzuka 05 was a great drive.

The thing I miss is unreliability. Going an entire season without a single failure is far too easy now, and is a long way from when you saw a bonfire in the back of cars just about every race. It also made for some great championships as failures could turn the tide around, and led to some surprise ...

BTCC. I don't know if you can get V8 Supercars in the UK (I would watch it if I could) but BTCC is a fine alternative . Close racing, great drivers and 6 hours of coverage in a Sunday!

Gonzalo Rodríguez seems to be the driver you are thinking of (he was killed during a practise session in 1999, when his car collided and was flipped over a concrete barrier at The Corkscrew). Long Beach and Laguna Seca. There WILL be violence if modern F1 does not go to either of these circuits at some points. About Laguna Seca, I think that Bernie might have been spooked by a CART driver being killed there about 10 years ago at the corkscrew. That said, I bit more runoff would solve that.
