Re: Infinite Improbability Drive of the Race - 2011 Indian G

Micheal Schumacher- Again a superb start and had solid race pace. I am hoping that he beats Nico in the points standings Jamie Alguersuari- He can beat Sutil in the overall standings. Jamie and Ricciardo for STR next year Narain Karthikeyan- Yeah i am slightly biased when it comes to him but despit...

Re: Your Reject of the Race - India!

It has to be Massa. Its hard to believe that this guy was such a gritty fighter in the 2008 season. I really want to see Perez or Bianchi in that car soon

Re: 2011 Indian Grand Prix Discussion Thread

Narain Karthikeyan becomes the 5th driver to get a penalty for tomorrow's race. He is penalised 5 places for impeding Schumacher in Q1

Re: Your Reject of the Race - India!

Exactly!! Corporates here have realised the potential of growth of F1 in India and its great to see them shelling out money like they do in cricket. I know its unrealistic but I would love to see more backing for Narain which gets him in a slightly better car next year. The mentality of the typical ...

Re: Your Reject of the Race - India!

Another nomination would be that horrendous Ra.One promotion on the nose on the Force India. That is as rejectful as Tyrell's Xena: The warrior princess promotion in the 90s :D

Re: Your Reject of the Race - India!

I nominate my fellow Indians who have hardly followed F1 before and are criticizing good ol Narain Karthikeyan for being at the back of the field For HWNSNBM's sake he came back in the car after 4 months and has been identical on pace with Riccardo and he is far from being an embarassment. Still all...

Re: The HRT thread

Is it just me or is Narain really impressive in 2011 considering he hasnt raced in in f1 since 2005? :o I expected him to be a second slower than Liuzzi throughout the year but he has only been one or two tenths slower. Plus he hasnt had too many spins and accidents like in 2005

Re: Karthikeyan is back!!!

Yes he was a second slower. Thats why its so surprising that he got the seat. He could be as out of depth as Badoer in 2009 :( but i am sure he will do great in wet races. I read somewhere that he once won a f3 race in Spa starting from 22nd on the grid :o

Re: Karthikeyan is back!!!

I was talking to a friend recently about Narain having a simulator test with FI and i said that he has no chance to race for Force India but he could race for HRT if he has the money. I never expected it to turn out to be true As a fellow Indian i would say good luck to him. I hope HRT dont struggle...

Re: 2011 Silly Season

Today there was some news regarding Force India in Mail Today (Indian newspaper). Apparently both Karun Chandhok and Narain Karthikeyan were invited for simulation tests around the same time. After intensive evaluation by the engineers and Vijay Mallya it looked like Chandhok was around 1 second fas...

New-look F1 on cards for 2013

The technical face of F1 could be poised to change dramatically within the next three years after it was revealed that team bosses will be presented with a radical design brief for the 2013 season. According to a BBC exclusive, the quest for closer, more exciting and more cost-effective racing has b...

Re: Your Reject of the Year!

My ROTY 2010 3) Felipe Massa- From the 2008 hero this year he turned out to be one of the biggest underachievers in a strong machinery. Besides a few good drives early in the season and Hockenhiem he was lacklustre. 2) Vitantonio Liuzzi- This was his last chance to prove himself in f1 but ended up b...
