Re: Heidfeld will be replaced by Senna... ?

This can only be an investment in the future on Renault's part, surely? I just can't see Senna being able to perform significantly better - or even as well - as Heidfeld would have done for the rest of this season. Harsh on poor old Quick Nick, who I think has generally done a good job for the team...

Re: Heidfeld will be replaced by Senna... ?

Renault must be skint. Heidfeld is a reliable driver, he's scoring higher than Petrov. It's true that Bruno Senna hasn't had a chance to shine at HRT, but I don't recall there being signs of greatness. It would be a happy surprise if Senna suddenly started to shine in the Renault, but I think this i...

Wow, that would never happen today. They pulled faces over Alonso and Webber doing it the other week.

Haven't seen this in a few years, anti-stall I guess.

Re: Senna - the movie

Loved the film, though I can understand the criticism that they jumped from karting to F1 and even then skimmed over to get to the Prost-Senna stuff and after 1990 they skimmed again to 1994 barely mentioning the championships won by others, Gerhard Berger didn't get a mention and they only alluded ...

Re: We've interviewed Paul Stoddart!

Great Interview, unless I've missed something I wasn't clear on what Stoddart had in his notes that made Eddie Jordan choke though, perhaps that's the point, we won't know.

Re: Possible updates to "Hall of Shame"

I'm not sure if Johnny Herbert lived up to his full potential after nearly losing both feet in Formula 3000.

Re: Your Favorite "Racing" Related Film

Anyone seen 'Mask of Dust', only found out about it recently but there were a number of cameos including Stirling Moss, Reg Parnell and others. Worst film has to be 'Driven'. But what do you expect from something written, produced and starring Sylvester Stallone? It's just awful, apart from being ut...

Re: Possible updates to "Hall of Shame"

I'm a newcomer here so don't know who has been talked about in the past as such. In another thread I asked whether Bertrand Gachot was suitable reject material, but he scores too many points under the current system. But it was suggested this makes a fair argument for a 'lucky bastard'. To summarise...

Re: The reject youtube thread

Irvine is someone I've never thought of as 'overrated', seem to recall he had to flog himself to get any recognition.

Coulthard is hardly a Reject, but what a plonker.

It's worth it for Murray Walkers "WOOAAAAAAHHHH!!!"

Re: Hello everyone! New members' check in desk

Welcome to the forum! Feel free to post wherever you want, especially in the 1/43 model thread! By the way, Bertrand Gachot does not count as a Reject, because we work on the old 'top 6 places earn points' system that was revised by the FIA for the 2003 season, by making it so that the top 8 score ...

Re: 1/43 F1 Reject-themed model collection

Hey, sounds about right. Mentioning the 1/36th scale, I recall Matchbox making a few plastic F1 kits in 1/32 but I only had the Tyrrell. Might have a dig around later to see what models I do have. edited to add - I can't believe how expensive these models have become. The newest ones were £52 each i...

Re: 1/43 F1 Reject-themed model collection

I'll have to have a look through my 1:43 collection. Does anyone know if someone made a 1:43 Andrea Moda? I probably have a few of the reject cars, there was a shop near here a few years ago selling lots of the Onyx 1:43 models cheap and we bought a fair few, but they were all obscure things. Half o...

Re: Hello everyone! New members' check in desk

I just signed up, I've been reading the main website pages now and again. I particularly wanted to comment in the 1:43 model thread so will be looking for that again in a moment. Where do people discuss suggestions for drivers to be entered into the list index? One driver I though might be in there ...
