Re: UK viewing figures drop in 2012.
BBC's viewing of the German GP beaten by golf? Ouch. Not just plain old "golf" though, the oldest championship in the world. It's history gives it a lot of draw. That said, I didn't watch a minute of it, though I normally would. Also, I don't know how they can correct for availability of ...

Re: Beat Tilke at his own game
Unfortunately, I have read rumours that the track could be demolished to make room for some new neighbourhoods, meaning it'll share fate with the Kyalami circuit. I honestly hope they don't touch it, I doubt they have no further surface in one of the biggest countries in the world to make the neigh...

Re: Beat Tilke at his own game
With the French Grand prix trying to make a comeback I thought I would have a go at Paul Ricard.

Running anticlockwise means I can have this ridiculously fast left-right section after going down the straight.
Doing that cuts the track off so I had it take a left on to the runway.

Re: Developing a helpful championship spreadsheet/database
Although doing a point table like Zantkiller has done is quite easy. Yeah when I first tried making one of these with my limited understanding of Excel I decided to forget easy and go and produced this horrible formula. =VLOOKUP(D2,Z$2:AA$28,2,FALSE)+VLOOKUP(E2,Z$2:AA$28,2,FALSE)+VLOOKUP(F2,Z$2:AA$...

Re: Developing a helpful championship spreadsheet/database
It would be very helpful for me, that's for sure How would I input data into the spreadsheet though? Would I simply put in race results and it would do the rest? http://imageshack.us/a/img843/678/screenshotofinput.jpg Currently I just input the results in this table here (in the Red square). It the...

Re: Developing a helpful championship spreadsheet/database
Sorry for the very long time for a reply but I have been quite busy. I have done some prototype work just to try some statistical analysis with a dynamic graph which allows you to highlight a drivers progress throughout a season and select 2 races you want to see the result in-between. http://images...

Developing a helpful championship spreadsheet/database
Hi. I'm going to try and develop a standard database/spreadsheet that can be used by series makers to help store driver info, track info, points, championship positions and other important things for my A-Level IT project. I get the general feeling that most people just use systems that they have ba...
