Re: 101105 Singapanorean GP Edition
Actually, you're all wrong. Rubens has been world champion three times - he was the world champion of the Formula Opel Lotus Euroseries in 1990, world champion of the British Formula Three series in 1991 and world champion of the Formula One Indoor Trophy series in 1993. For all I care he can also t...

Re: 2010 Singapore GP Discussion Thread
Those are some good pictures Enoch. I can see that you are using a rather high ISO-setting on the latter pictures - how well does the track lights work from a photographers perspective? Also, which lens(es?) are you using? <photography jargon warning> I am using a brand new Sigma 70-200mm f/2.8. Yo...

Re: Max Mosley - Der Untergang
He's had an interesting life, he's worked closely with most of the most notable people in F1 for his whole career, and has presided over one of the most all-encompassing organisations in sport. He's had a controversial private life, and has suffered tragedy (his son died). Despite this, I really do...

Max Mosley - Der Untergang
So, Mr. Mosley has decided to publish an autobiography after stepping down as FIA president, and has said that it will "annoy certain people" and that many lawyers will be keeping an eye on this book. Finally an autobiography I want to read - perhaps it would help me understand this man a ...

Re: Ask Kaz
Hah, good questions guys - keep them coming! We'll probably be about 10-12 guys asking questions at the Q&A, so it's unlikely that I get to ask more than 2-4 questions, but I'll make sure to pick some out from this thread. Ask him something interesting and off the wall that he'll remember, rathe...

Re: Ask Kaz
I don't think I can look Kazuki in the eyes and ask him those questions. Good thing that I am not a journalist, lol.

Ask Kaz
It turns out I will be having a Q&A session with Kazuki Nakajima in early November as part of a larger WilliamsF1 event.
Any questions that you guys would like to ask him?

Re: FIA/FOTA-gate
I can see what you mean, and it is indeed worrying that if the 2010 regulations stand and all thirteen entries are filled, Mosley will only be stronger than before this mess. I agree too that the budget-cap should be introduced gradually over a four- or five-year period, but I honestly don't see tha...

FIA/FOTA-gate
I'm starting to think F1 would be better off for 2010 without the FOTA teams. For one, if the FOTA teams enter the 2010 season, it means that either the FIA or FOTA has bowed to the other and that's going to cause a lot of tension between the governing body and the competing teams, and that just mea...

Re: Spanish GP Discussion
Ker's can only activate between 100 - 300 kph. I don't think there's any regulatory limits on when KERS can be activated, but you're absolutely right about it not being sensible to use below 100 km/h. You'd be surprised at how quickly an F1 car can hit 100km/h.KERS might be out of the question for ...
