Re: The racing career of Ettore Visconti (1973-...)
1974 United States Grand Prix - Part 2 Race The hearts of the 4 championship hopefuls thumped against the outer walls of their rib cage. Ferrari, McLaren, Brabham, Tyrrell, all of the teams sat anxiously awaiting the drop of the green flag. With championship leader Ettore Visconti in 13th he would ...

1974 Grand Prix du Canada Pre-Race Following the heartbreaking result of Visconti at his home race, his hopes of securing the title in his first full season seemed to be easing farther and farther away from his grasp. Now 7 points down on the consistent Emerson Fittipaldi and 3 down on the fast but...

I was testing out the new F1 1990 mod for rFactor last week. There is a problem with Bertrand Gachot, he was way too quick and he qualified in 6th place at Monza!

1974 Gran Premio d'Italia Pre-Race Heading into the final 3 rounds, the title race was heading to an immense end. Ettore Visconti was proving himself as one of the most formidable drivers on the track but lacking the consistency to have taken a dominant hold over the championship. Scheckter briefly...

In Le Mans 2007 I believe, I remember I think it was Mike Rockenfeller who crashed early in the race on his first start. When he got out he sat down by the car almost in tears.

I have a huge amount of 1992-4 Lotus F1 merchandise hidden in the house somewhere. I've seen it, but not in a long while. Of course, historically they're not a reject team but 1994 was an awful year for them

One name seems to always go missing in the Red Bull junior team - Mitch Evans. In his first GP2 season he's beating Cecotto soundly in the points and has picked up a few podiums. I know he's not a contender for the next couple of years but I think he could make the step up shortly after. His result...

I don't think Felipe Massa was ever truly a superb driver, the car which he had in 2007 and 2008 was stronger than that of the opposition, and now he's in a car which is nowhere near being the best car on the grid. You can see that in his results that he improves as the car improves. Alonso out per...
