Re: Commercial breaks
Here in California F1 is aired both on NBC, but at often inconvenient hours, and on a Spanish sports network. The Spanish channel doesn't have traditional "cut to commercial", instead it has the screen narrow to show a sponsor and have the announcers give a brief plug for it. It doesn't d...

Re: Commercial breaks
We're lucky in the UK - Sky Sports who I normally use unless we lose signal keep their breaks to before and after the race and not during it. Yesterday they didn't even have a break during the stoppage period which ITV would have had loads during. Even though BBC have only half the races live, that...

Re: Commercial breaks
Fudge. I hate them. Here in Australia there are too many. I lose count on how many there are. I don't care when there are things such as the Safety Car or a Red Flag but when the race is on? Come on. How about you guys? Do you have to put up with ad breaks after only several laps? To OneHD's credit...

Re: Mandatory pit stops in F1?
I still support the ban in refuelling, though obviously DRS should be banished and never spoken of again. To my eyes, 2010 had the best balance in terms of rules, as it's the tyres and DRS that are the issues that need to be resolved right now, as drivers are unable to push, or defend. DRS was intr...

Re: Bahrain confirms 2014 Night race
I wasn't that excited for Singapore's night race. But it was a success. I wonder if Bahrain will be different... The time zone difference (7 hours) will make it a terrible time to watch in Australia. What about a night race on the American continent so we don't have to get up between the hours of 1...

Re: Create your ideal 18-race calendar
First time poster here. I have to say Bernie and co have got the calendar all wrong. Not impressed. 2 races in America (hardly the biggest f1 fans, sure they might bring in money), no Argentina or South Africa? And even though I am an Aussie I think it is time for a new country to open the season. A...
