Re: Who will be the next NEW F1 world champion?
I’d say the most likely are: - Danny Ric but only if Red Bull don’t leave the sport and get a decent engine - Verstappen has time on his side and will probably be at the peak of his powers just as Hamilton and Vettel are on the decline - Vandoorne seems very talented and could reap the rewards if Mc...

Nico Rosberg – After a fighting drive, once again Nico choked under (no) pressure and handed his team-mate the title on a silver plate. Dishonourable Mentions Danny Kyvat – With Max waiting in the wings, this wasn’t the best time to stuff it into the wall. He’s fast for sure but still a bit too err...

Raikkonen - Once again outpaced by Vettel, despite earning himself track position at the start. The last lap divebomb on Bottas ruined both their races and was 100% Kimi’s fault. I wish he’d retire at the end of the season and give some new blood an opportunity to drive a very good car. Hulkenberg ...

1) Williams - Throwing valuable points away in such an unnecessary manor. Re: 2015 Belgian Grand Prix
Indeed, it was interesting to read the Honda boss saying that the engine they ran in Hungary was “much better than Renault”. He went on to say McLaren’s chassis is still quite a way behind Red Bull, primarily down to lack of mileage. On the other hand I remember Ron Dennis at Silverstone saying that...

McLaren Honda - I was genuinely excited when I heard the famous combination would be making a return to the sport in 2015 but every aspect of their Melbourne weekend was utterly rejectful. The first grand prix I ever watched was Belgium 1991. I remember Andrea was running 2nd and on course to score Jordan's first ever podium before his engine failed with just a few laps to go.
A very good driver and a great loss to the world of F1. RIP Andrea de Cesaris.

I agree with a lot of these posts, Hamilton’s attitude is the problem. He wins 4 races in a row and all is relatively peaceful. Nico is not thrilled finishing 2nd all the time but takes his losses with dignity and respect. Monaco comes round and Rosberg finally takes one back. Cue Lewis behaving lik...

Yeah, as a Williams fan myself, Bahrain was a bit of an anti-climax (although I also like Force India and Ricciardo ). I agree that an on-track collision would be the most likely cause of any breakdown in relationship. Eg. Vettel / Webber crash in Turkey 2010 sparked the 3 year cold war at Red Bull (although admittedly those two were never “friends” to begin with). The media will stir the pot at any opportunity so M...

How long will Hamilton and Rosberg remain friends?
I’ve been thinking about this since pre-season testing. It seems Mercedes are going to be untouchable for at least the first half of 2014. At this stage it’s looking pretty likely one of their drivers is going to be WDC. They’re very evenly matched, equally supported and super competitive… So, can t...
