Re: Beyond the Grid Podcast - Mario Andretti
Well glad I could pass it on! Personal favourites so far have been Button, Herbert, Di Montezemolo, Maldonado, R Schumacher & Murray Walker - but they are all generally really fascinating

Beyond the Grid Podcast - Mario Andretti
Was wondering if anyone else listens to this podcast and caught this episode? Was really fascinating listening to Mario talk about this career, always wonder what more he could have done in F1 if he'd committed more to it, incredible talent and legend. Also found it fascinating listening to his Opin...

Re: The Mexico City baseball stadium grand prix
Hamilton frustrates me, he is probably doing it to dupe everyone, but hearing his constant whining on the radio is so annoying, just get on with it bro, constant whining. And the whole race felt like ti was shaping up to be a great one, and thnw just nothing... It felt fairly inevitable and typical ...

Re: What things do you miss from older F1 races?
I feel like the majority of Williams titles were at least competitive. 96 wasn't but a good fight between the 2, 97 Ferrari were right there. McLaren in the 80's seemed to be an anomaly, at any rate they were crashing into each other all the timne. Not the sheer tepidness of Hamilton vs Bottas and Ve...

Canada 2011 for me, I flew to spain halfway through the race and it was still going on when I landed, watched it a couple times since. Hungary 2006 is up there as well Hockenheim 2000, just one of the earliest races I can remember watching and being on the edge of my seat for Melbourne 2009 It's tou...

Re: Hello everyone! New members' check in desk
Hi, New here as I saw Nuppiz was a mod and remember him from some other sites/forums - Chiefly gpracegames. Saw the site had gone missing and with it all the GPW and GPM2 mods! Set up a reddit for GPW, I have GPW files but more stuff seemed to always be being worked on eventually, sad to see it all...

Re: What things do you miss from older F1 races?
Not just that but it seems easier for teams to dominate multiple years at a time now...since 2000:
Ferrari won CC 6 years in a row
Red Bull 4
Mercedes 6
Every team would steal a march for a year or 2 only to eventually be reigned in, the consistency now is maddening

Re: The Alessandro Zanardi IndyCar Thread
I would love to see Newgarden get a top F1 drive - JPM/Zanardi style, think the guy is a huge talent.
Indycar after being put on sky became a quick sunday highlight for me, great racing

Re: What things do you miss from older F1 races?
Same stuff as everyone, attrition, you never quite knew if your guy was going to make it to the end, could be a minute in the lead but one mistake and its in the gravel, or the engine could blow up. Now sometimes after lap 3 i'm like "well thats done" second hald of this year has been way ...
