Re: Another new points system...

I like the new points system, but I like random nonsense. Any points system where neither Farina nor Fangio win the 1950 season is just wrong though. Seriously? Yep. If there are no cut-off results and this points system is employed, Luigi Fagioli wins on the strength of 4 second places and 1 third...

Re: Schumi Confirmed!

I can't deny I would have rather seen Heidfeld in the second Merc. I was never a fan of his (pulling for the Hills, Häkkinens and Montoyas all those years) but I can't deny that I'm very excited about 2010.

No Sauber next year?

m According to this article (in German, couldn't find a link in English) there are no investors behind Qadbak at all (as has been suspected before) and it is all just a making-money-scheme by a known conman named Russell King who apparently is also behind Bahrain Capital International who have guara...

1. Brawn
2. Nico Rosberg

Regarding number 2, either Nakajima was bad or the car was. I'll go with the car and say it was all Rosberg.
I simply can't vote for Kobayashi after only two races.

No need, if I wasn't German I'd have no idea either. DTM is incredibly boring most of the time.

Certainly helped Heikki, didn't it?
You do have a point though, speaking in general. Still, I want Heidfeld for the second seat because he is my favourite driver :D .

Re: Button signs for McLaren

I think there were some all-British podiums in the 1960s, but I doubt the French drivers ever managed one. Actually, maybe Pironi at Ferrari and the Renaults did at some point? The closest I can think of at the moment is the all-Francophone podium at the 1997 Spanish Grand Prix, when French-Canadia...

Re: Button signs for McLaren

Here's hoping we'll see an all-german podium with Vettel, Rosberg and Heidfeld (if he makes it to Merc). Let's hope Amthony Davidson gets a decent drive so we can have 19 all brit podia On a related note, how often has that happened that all three drivers on the podium came from the same country? I...

1. Jenson Button Champion, finished almost every race in the points. I don't understand people that say it wasn't utterly deserved, his drive in Interlagos when he clinched it, confirmed him as top of the class this year. 2. Re: Toyota withdraws from F1

I for one am very happy with this if it gets Sauber and Nick Heidfeld on the grid next year. Kobayashi showed enough to deserve a full year at some other team even though that looks unlikely at the moment but Nakajima is probably gone for good.

Been lurking for months, now finally got around to registering. Woohoo.
Anyway, Bernd Schneider surely needs to be named. He is the most successful DTM driver of all time and just last year finally retired.
