EDIT: What would happen if there were a Formula 1 driver with a surname of only two letters? It's not entirely impossible... (Btw, Enoch's abbreviation would rock: LAW.)

I'd imagine they'd use the driver's first initial eg I know a guy called Darren NG - he'd be called DNG.

Motorbike racing has also used those abbreviations and there I can recall one rider with a surname of only two letters: Youichi Ui. IIRC he was simply Ui in the graphics, so he was abbreviated with two letters.

You never know, you might come in to some money and sign yourself up as a paydriver or something. Given that said money is more than you know how to spend.

Racing under a pseudonym is a telltale sign of rejectdom -- like "Gimax" or "Jean Max/Max Jean"

There's no need to be scared, Waris - I don't bite

"Alianora" came out of a book called "Dragonsbane" by Patricia C. Wrede while "La Canta" is the Spanish root of the verb "to sing". I first used the name for a minor character in a story I never completed, but when I started participating in F1 fora, I decided to use it as a psuedonym and it stuck.
