1. Pippa Mann is real, but has never been an F1 driver... FRenault 3.5 and IndyCar maybe, but not F1. (And I don't actually have a sister called Pippa. I know someone called Pippa, but totally unrelated...)

2. The Stig? You mean this one, this one, or perhaps even this one?

TEAM PHOENIX SIGNS THE STIG FOR NEXT SEASON

In a shock move that has left all the F1RWRS paddock on its wake, Team Phoenix has managed to lure jack of all trades/master of bathplug all racing driver The Stig for next season, and as a pay-driver, no less. The move will mean that Ron Mignolet, from Belgium, is out of a seat for next year. Some sources link Mignolet's dumping with some disparaging comments he made about team owner and driver, Phoenix McAllister, about his fitness.

McAllister himself says: "We are delighted to have The Stig with us. He's unfazed by all this, but that's the way he is, however."

Ron Mignolet was unavailable for comments about this decision.

Ron Mignolet is looking for a team next season that is actually competitive, and offers that team money, talent and style. And waffles, lots of waffles.

Trabant-legend Gio Van Dycke is interested in making a glorious comeback, yet again sponsored by cillit bang! And also by cup-a-soup!

Australian Touring Car Legend and owner of the Holden F1RWRS and F2RWRS teams, Mark Skaife, has made no bones about how thus far he has been disappointed in the performance of American George Liquor, teammate to Canadian Tommy Nash. Skaife has commented that in testing Liquor has been slow and has been difficult to work with within the team and in PR activites. MA-Racing make further announcements:

Following the confirmation the team will compete next year, Mr. Alexander has announced the engine/chassis combination for next year.

"We are taking on the Fomet-1 chassis, coupled with a Ford ED V8 engine. The chassis has proven experience and the engine has a good amount of power to hopefully propell us up the grid. The team are excited for our first race, and I must admit, so am I!"

With no further information about the second driver following Mackintosh's departure, Mr.Alexander has released a press statement:

"We would like to offer the second seat to any driver whose had previous experience in F1RWRS and can bring some healthy sponsorship to the team. We know there's a handful of drivers out there who can help us in our first year and we would like to hear from them soon."

The Holden F1RWRS Racing Team and Garry Rogers Motorsport have revealed that next week, after the Brazilian GP, they will be holding a private 3-day testing session at Sandown Raceway in Melbourne to give next year's cars a shakedown. Present at the test will be Rhys Davies and Ashley Watkinson (HRT's drivers), Frank Zimmer and Poppy Whitechapel (GRM's drivers), as well as George Liquor and Tommy Nash, the F2RWRS Holden Young Lions drivers, who will get laps on the second and third days in the 2012 HRT. It is also believed that Jason Hamilton, a young Australian driver, may also be present on one of the days, also driving the 2012 car. It seems that the team is giving him a test to see if he could be in the running for a seat in the F2RWRS, especially after Liquor's poor testing performances.

Well talking of new teams, i'll account for an even more ridiculous amount of teams for next season.
chassis availability check for Team Lotus Bakeries (Belgium)
1) OSELLA FA1L with 1) FORD ED V8 2) JUDD CV 3) FORD DFR V8
2)OSELLA FA1G with 1) JUDD GV10 2)YAMAHA OX10A 3) ILMOR 2175A
3) ZAKSPEED 89 1) FORD ED V8 2) JUDD CV 3) FORD DFR V8
If all are already taken (not so far on the list) take some Eurobrun with some Ford engine, which ever is still left.
Drivers: 1) Ron Mignolet if he can't find a drive in a team that is in main qualifying. If he can find a drive though, It will be a return for Dennis Mignolet) + 2) other driver.
Looking for some glorious DNQ's! Thing is, every championship i enter with Team Lotus Bakeries seems to be jinxed and stops for no obvious reason, a cycle that needs to be broken!

Plans for the Herstappe F1 effort have been cancelled, the 80 villagers could gather an enormous amount of 3 credits, that however proved not enough to buy an existing team.

And yes it is true ArrowTech are interested in the chassis design as both this car and the MRT M4 we have are some of the best on the grid. We just need a formal offer and the green light from the F1 Rejects Council and we're good to go to the negotiation table. The M4 however is NOT for sale as it's being used as the basis for next year's MRT M5.

Police investigation over who allegedly sabotaged Daniel Martins ArrowTech gave another step yesterday with searches inside ArrowTech garage, headquarters and even the car which Martins drove was subjected to Technical Police evaluation. Reports that gave Prince Falik as prime suspect might turn out to accurate since Police also searched Prince Falik private quarters including his 5-star hotel room. The results of all these searches are yet to be known since no one was available to comment on this with the chief inspector promising a full press statement early next week. With this news Autosport tried to obtain reactions from the participant parties but Prince Falik could not be found and Daniel's only comment was to say that "speculation involving Daniel Melrose is completely bollocks since we do have a friendship and he was one of the first to offer his support in all this process."

Autosport wrote:Jones Racing Signs Melrose And Reveals 2014 Car

Following Daniel Melrose's public announcement stating his desire to remain with Castrol Jones Racing for 2014 having been employed at the team for the final two races of the year, the deal has now officially been confirmed.

Sammy Jones confirmed the deal during a short press conference over the Brazilian Grand Prix weekend following qualifying, stating that,

"We're absolutely thrilled that Daniel has chosen to take up the offer that was part of his two race contract for the team, that would guarantee him a seat for 2014. All of this has come about thanks to additional income being secured by the team for the upcoming season. Having Daniel on board as such a high profile driver was certainly an integral factor for this, and alongside confirming our final driver line-up for 2014, I'd also like to introduce three new sponsors that will be joining Castrol Jones Racing next year: power tools manufacturer Beta, food processing company British Bakels and finally a company located just down the road from our Banbury base, electric motor supplier and repairer Powerline Electric Motors. Finally I'd like to take the time to present to you all a mocked up version of our 2014 car, the CJR-202, an evolution of our successful CJR-201B. The main changes are a revised engine cover, completely new rear end including diffuser and rear wing and an updated front wing, whilst we are currently also in negotiations with Ford about an upgrade to our existing engine supply that will allow us to consistently challenge at the front of the grid from the start of next season. Ladies and gentlemen, I present to you, the Castrol Jones Racing CJR-202:

Sorry I haven't been around for a little while, but what this all means is that Melrose will drive for Jones Racing next season alongside Sammy Jones, whilst the chassis they currently use, a Zakspeed that I can't remember exactly, will remain with them, the engine may become available soon, and if so I'll make a further announcement so everyone knows! :)

Confusion at MA-Racing:

MA-Racing team boss Mr.Alexander, has spoken about the availability of chassis and engines for the 2014 season, citing conflicting interests from various teams. "Originally, I wanted the Fomet-1 chassis but it has been brought to my attention that another team already has it. Personally, the organizers should let us have it, as we would make better use of it!"
Asked about what he now plans to do, Mr.Alexander is keeping his cards close to his chest. "We will make an announcement in the next few days, sending off a list of several chassis to the organizers, who will hopefully let us know what we can have."
And drivers? "Matthias Valsattis is confirmed. But we are still hunting for an experienced driver for the second seat. No-one has come forward yet, despite putting out a press release. Someone must need a drive for next year!"

Brazil results up! (look page 83)

--------------------------------------

Now, I need a couple of weeks to put everything together for next season (update chassis/engine list, add things to it, compile the already made announcements, announce the list of available entries, make up the calendar...), so off-season races may happen now. PLEASE, DON´T ANNOUNCE ANYTHING RELATED TO CHASSIS/ENGINES AND DRIVERS FOR THE 2014 SEASON FROM NOW ON UNTIL I SAY IT´S TIME SO I CAN KEEP UP WITH ALL THE INFORMATION THAT GOES THROUGH HERE :) THANKS FOR YOUR UNDERSTANDING.

For 8th: Katayama is ahead of Melrose (she's won a race, Melrose has a few thirds).
For 13th: It's Mann, Plaza then Simpson (Win, 2nd, 3rd respectively)
For 16th: It's Martins then Respati (2 3rds against 1)
For 18th: Shizuka then Mori (1 3rd against 3 5ths)
For 20th: Zimmer with a 3rd, then al Faisal with a 4th.
For 22nd: Scott then Grove (both have a 4th, but Scott has a 10th, while Groves has 18th)
For 24th: Cameron (1 5th, 4 7ths), Spencer (1 5th, 2 7ths), McAllister (1 5th, 1 8th), Nicolas (2 6ths)
For 28th: Steele (1 6th, 1 7th) then McFaste (1 6th, 1 10th)
