Nope - Shonan is Shizuka's. I'm the... uh... manager behind Francois Albertini. I announced that he was signed by Shonan so I quite possibly mislead you

Hope it's okay I spent all the credits on reliability, I wanted to fix this up seeing it has one of the worst reliability stats.
Warren Hughes wrote:Does the list a few pages ago include performance updates from last season in my chassis and engine stats?
It doesn´t. If you need some kind of reminder of the current state of your updates, just let me know. Once an engine is sold, it returns to "Factory Stats", so a team buying a previously owned Engine (Or Chassis), comes up with the original stats. That´s part of the strategy, keep your package and try to improve it or sell it and build over something new? I´ll update the team list with the current stats (including previous year updates) once the market time is over (i.e. once every team owner knows the package for this season).

I wasn't in charge of the team last season, and didn't really follow the thread for the majority of it, so finding out the current state of my updates would be very useful. Also, what does the "SPEED INC" column in the chassis stats mean?
Thanks.

One question: new drivers do start out at 14000, so much is known. But is investing credits the only thing that raises these numbers, i.e. is using a young driver useless to improve him unless I put credits into him.

The current lineup is +10 BHP and 700 extra reliability points. Both Gary Cameron and Dave Simpson have some Race Performance points as well.
Speed Inc is Speed Incidence over the engine (how much your chassis is capable of handling the engine power). 5 will mean the power will be exactly the same. Less than 5 will decrease your BHP and more than 5 will slightly increase the overall Power.

Yes, I haven´t found a better formula to handle this ... drivers are as good as their team owners want to invest in them. Remember that a team owner can sell the contract of a driver to another for a negotiated number of credits, only nobody has chosen to do that yet. Example: SuperAguri invested a couple of credits in Barii Mori last year, now he could go and "sell" Barii Mori and ask for it, let´s say, 100 Credits.

Aerond wrote:That is wrong; Please read the rules. Chassises and engines are sold for HALF the price you bought them. You can´t add credits to drivers who haven´t raced and Klon already got a penalty for that.
I want to ask another thing I've just come to realize: I previously stated that I wanted to hire The Stig as a pay driver. I currently have 400 credits, does that take into account this fact?

Fixed and correct. Chassis offically sold to HRT
For how much and what chassis will Dofasco buy??

No, pay driver credits are added in four race circles. (you will start getting credits after 4th race)

Right, Pemberton Prospec Racing are sticking with both the Lamborghini chassis and engine used last year, with the following updates to be put in place immediately:
Power: +15BHP (yes, seriously) Reliability Points: 200 Race performance: 20 points for each driver

www.sportschau.de wrote:Tropico Grand Prix Unveils New Challenger
A crowd of almost 200 Tropicans and three international reporters gathered in front of the palace of El Présidente to see the new Tropico Grand Prix car for the first time. The rather unique livery will present sponsorship by Hitachi, Virgin Wines (brought in by Miko Fäkkinen) and Credit Suisse. The latter threw up questions about El Présidente's infamous account with said financial institute. While a clicking sound which sounded very close to the sound of handcuffs drew the attention of some people, El Présidente denied such a connection.
When asked about the prospects of his new team, El Présidente claimed that the team will soon be fighting for the constructor's championship. He was also asked about the ominous German council, but refused to name any people involved in it, although he had a slip of the tounge and announced one member of said group being a former F1 star. When asked about a local driver, El Presidente announced that Alberto Cara will be driving the car in at least one pre-qualifying session and race, although further specification of said drive would depend on the F1RWRS schedule.
I can do it for you if you like Shizuka, are there any particular colours you wanted the car to feature? I'm thinking that logo will go on to a white background best.
Also Aerond, the SPEED INC stat, just to confirm, the higher the better then?
Also, here is the template for the Castrol Jones Racing CJR-103:
OK, so unless if I'm mistaken, Acuri has 50 credits left and ArrowTech has 57 1/2. I'll keep ArrowTech's 57 1/2 tokens for now, but the 50 credits for Acuri will be spent like so:
Andrea Acuri's Race Performance - 20 credits, 40 points in total Renault Engine upgrade - 3 BHP - 30 credits
Acuri is NOT a pay driver. Ron Mignolet is.
Acuri's Chassis (The Ligier) is to be rebadged as the Acuri AFR01, or just AFR01. Pick one.
ArrowTech's Chassis (The now-infamous Brabham) is to be rebadged as the ArrowTech AT-04, or simply the AT-04.
Both teams' engines are to stay unbadged - though you might just want to call them the Peugeot or the Renault.
Daniel Martins is confirmed at ArrowTech for 2014, still unsure about the second driver, but I might confirm it by the end of next week. (the 18th of november) I'm not making any promises, though...

Also, as I don't have the skills or the programme to do it, if someone wants to design Mitie's livery it would be appreciated. White car with the whole sidepod dark blue, black front and rear wings.

You must work under .BMP, 8-bit palette, Indexed colour if under photoshop. If you don´t follow this, Gp2 will probably pervert the colours. You absolutely must respect the shape.

Interesting to know you can now upload *.bmp datas to imageshack - how do you like this?

Yeah I probably didn't explain. I haven't got Internet at home, so everything I do on here is via my iPhone.
Thanks Klon looks good. If you could stick the eurotunnel logo on the sidepods it'll be complete ).
Chris Dagnall has unveiled together with his drivers Mark Dagnall and Nathan Scott his title contender for the 2014 season. "It looks very sexy, I like it", said the former World Champion who´s holding his expectations high: "I can´t wait to start the new season, this year it will be harder, but we have the will to improve and we know the new car will be faster, it looks very, very promising and we should be fighting for both championships again".
DGNgineering is selling the RIAL chassis for 150 credits and buying the Osella FA1G for 300, therefore it has 850 credits left. This is my template

Matthias Valsattis and Alexey Pchelintsev pulled the cover off MA-Racing's first car today, watched by team boss Mr.Alexander and a small gathering of photographers and journalists. The attractive blue, White and black machine (Mitie Aviation's official colours) were adorned by support from Adidas, Nescafé and Eurotunnel. The chassis and engine deals have been completed, with the chassis being branded as a MAR-001. Mr.Alexander and Matthias Valsattis spoke about thier seasons expectations. "To be qualifying for every race is our goal", said Valsattis. "We have a small amount of unused money left, which will be put into the engine department should we fail to be quick enough in the first few race. I'm just hoping I don't embarass myself at the beginning, as virtually all the tracks are new to me." Mr.Alexander also spoke about his teams chances and the final driver line-up. "Being a new team, not a lot is expected from us. But we hope to shake a few feathers during qualifying, and hopefully get some decent mileage on the cars. We have a test at Brands Hatch in the next day or so, so we can get to grips with our car there. As for the drivers, Matthias will race all year. Alexey will begin the season, but isn't guaranteed a permanent slot. Both Steven Mackintosh and Massimiliano Torbani will have time in the car. We hope there is a British Grand Prix for Steven to race in and the same for Massimiliano in the Italian race."
Mitie Aviation Racing have also confirmed their line-up for the junior team in F3RWRS. "The announcement will be made in about an hours time." (Check F3RWRS thread )

Anyways, here is the layout of the Acrui AFR01 - formerly known as the Ligier JS33:
Hopefully it shall work. Compared to some teams that do not have many sponsors, Acuri has a handful! Even Ron Mignolet had a couple of sponsors to chip in with... well I don't want to say the offical title of the sponsor as to not "curse" the series... :S
I will be away for the next two days, so hopefully there won't be any groundbreaking news coming out.
