Re: F3RWRS - Yet another feeder series
The sad thing was Joel's performance was reminiscent of older brother Daniel's first race at Ferrari minus the mistake at the end

Autosport wrote:Alitalia rookie chasing second Christopherson seat
Scuderia Alitalia is reportedly looking to place junior driver Lorenzo Crescenzi in the currently vacant second seat at Christopherson Racing. Alitalia are a team known to have ambitions bigger than their organisation currently has capacity for, and already has former F1RWRS driver Phil McCracken driving for Dagnall Engineering's F2RWRS team, Kit-Kat Warriros.
"If we could agree a deal with Christopherson, then yes, we would be interested in placing Lorenzo in their team," said team principal Alasdair Lindsay. "He was intended for our F2RWRS program, but as there is no chance of us entering the series on our own until next season at the earliest, he has been forced to sit on the sidelines. These guys seem to be running a professional team here, and I think this would give Lorenzo a chance to do well in F3RWRS and measure up against Alessandro and Gigi in our own team."
"Obviously, this deal could benefit Christopherson Racing as well as ourselves - we can of course provide financial backing if necessary, and having a second driver will improve their chances of a high placing in the teams championship. Therefore, I think this would be a good deal for both parties."
Neither team principal Jack Christopherson or his son was available for comment at the time of printing.

SCUDERIA ALITALIA | PRESS RELEASE
LORENZO CRESCENZI & RAGNAR LARSEN GAIN EXTERNAL F3RWRS SEATS
Scuderia Alitalia are happy to announce that two members of their young driver programme have found seats in F3RWRS. After lengthy negotiations, Lorenzo Crescenzi has secured the second seat at Christopherson Racing, after his planned F2RWRS programme fell through.
"I am very 'appy to be 'ere in Christopherson Racing in the F3RWRS," he said. "Its'a very good opportunity for me to improve myself as a driver. I look forward to working with Jack Christopherson who is'a very experienced man in racing, and I would also like'a to thank Alitalia for letting me move to a rival team to drive."
However, within 24 hours of Crescenzi's news, Ragnar Larsen was able to secure a seat at Lotus Developement with Group Lotus Professional and Team Lotus Bakeries, by RonDen Racing Engineering. Sponsors contractual obligations forced Larsen to step aside for Lucarelli and Pazzini in the main Scuderia Alitalia team, however Lotus Developement with Group Lotus Professional and Team Lotus Bakeries, by RonDen Racing Engineering were happy to accomodate Larsen in their vacant second seat.
"I would like to thank Lotus Developement with Group Lotus Professional and Team Lotus Bakeries, by RonDen Racing Engineering for this chance to race," he said. "It was unfortunate what happened at Alitalia, but I understand why it had to happen. I am happy that they were able to pay for and arrange for a seat at Lotus Developement with Group Lotus Professional and Team Lotus Bakeries, by RonDen Racing Engineering, hopefully this means I will keep up to a good consistent pace ahead of next season with the extra track time and racing this will give me."
Scuderia Alitalia team principal Alasdair Lindsay was similarly optimistic of the races to come for the pair.
"It's great that Lorenzo and Ragnar will get the chance to do some proper racing in a very competitive environment this season, with Christopherson Racing and Lotus Developement with Group Lotus Professional and Team Lotus Bakeries, by RonDen Racing Engineering. It's good to have this much internal competition between the guys, it keeps them motivated and on their toes."

Lotus Developement with Group Lotus Professional and Team Lotus Bakeries, by RonDen Racing Engineering is very happy to confirm a partnership with Scuderia Alitalia and promising driver Ragnar Larsen.
From now on our statements will be run under The Team Formerly known as Lotus Developement With Group Lotus Professional and Team Lotus Bakeries featuring Scuderia Alitalia Together with Octan Driver Academy By RonDen Racing Engineering Vs The Cillit Bang Gang Simply Known As Lotus
any team willing to joing this eh... name... can enter their driver in a third car, if the organisation allows TTFKALDWGLPATLBFSATWODABRDREVTCGBSKAL to do this.
And yes, i will change this name every race, but you can keep Lotus Development as official teamname, after all, a team can say whatever they want in press releases.
This team is however unrelated to my other team MLdC

NC: Dorien Lamberigts (Lotus): +2 LAPS
NC: Eric Swerts (Jones): +3 LAPS
NC: Harry Austin (MA-Junior): +3 LAPS

DNF: Roberto Zayas (ZombieKart): Collision (L1)
DNF: Joel Melrose (Jones): Collision (L1)
Fastest lap: Alessandro Lucarelli (1:39.76)
Joel Melrose has caused one of the biggest accidents I have ever seen by simply not braking for Druids at all. 13 cars, including Melrose, were involved. It seems Melrose tried to get down the inside of Pazzini and Simpson, and just firing straight into Michael Cameron and Yuka Katayama. From there, cars went every which way. Melrose, Cameron and Simpson retired on the spot, with Reyna-Sanchez, Albertini and Zayas also expiring there. Katayama, Lamberigts, Swerts, Austin, Donegro, Harmsky and Sokolov made it to the pits, and almost all continued, but weren't classified, as only 6 laps were completed in the 10 minutes (they would have needed to do 4 and a half laps). Shonan decided to focus on repairing Harmsky's car, rather than Sokolov, as his car was virtually destroyed (it was a miracle he made it to the pits). He'll make race 3, if his car can be fixed in time. Up front, as they dodged the carnage left at Druids, Lucarelli proved Scuderia Alitalia's speed by taking their first win, driving around Hamilton at Paddock Hill on the last lap, and just managing to hold him off to the finish line. Judd McAllister took the last podium spot in a solid and consistent drive, avoiding the crash on lap 1.
For the grid for race 3, what I'll likely do is just take where all the NC drivers finished in race 2 with the results from race 1, rather than ignore it. Otherwise Katayama is basically given pole straight away.

From my starting position I was just aiming to make a point or two. Hopefully this result is a good sign of things to come.

And for Melrose to be disqualified from the weekend...that was'a disgraceful driving.

Which reminds me TMLW and Wizzie, whereabouts in the F3RWRS will we be following the F2RWRS at Austria and Hawkin's return to Jones Racing? Just so I know how many races I need a replacement for?

Well, If Austria was Hawkin's last F2 race, then he can be back for the next F3 round in Germany.

Yeah he'll be around until at the very least the F2RWRS race in Hungary where he might replace Lamberigts at Gillet, results pending. Where would that slot into the F3RWRS schedule? I'm guessing after the Belgian round, but before China? Therefore meaning at the very least Hawkin should be back for two rounds, Germany and Belgium.
This is all very fortunate for a young Mr. J. Melrose, who was probably going to be dumped after Brands Hatch anyway!

That is correct. After Belgium, there are no more clashes with the F3RWRS for the rest of the season except for the Surfers SuperPrix probably clashing with Canada which will probably also be at the same time as the F1RWRS finale on the calender. Infact, with the F2RWRS and F3RWRS rounds of Germany and Belgium being held at the same track, theoretically anyone could do both categories for basically the rest of the year.

In which case, barring someone exceptional coming forward to drive for the team should Hawkin return to Gillet, he will drive for both teams for the rest of 2014 (should he be offered the seat at Gillet at Hungary).

Scuderia Alitalia add third car for Germany
Enrico Molinaro will join Scuderia Alitalia from Germany onwards, after securing a deal to drive a brand new third car for the team. The 20 year old is new to the series, having recently joined the squad's young driver programme.
Molinaro brings with him extra sponsorship, allowing the team to run a full three-car team from a financial perspective. For that reason, his car will run a strikingly different livery to the other SA cars, as shown below.
"It's great to have this opportunity...[article continues with random PR ramblings]
*The truth is, I only just noticed teams were allowed three cars after seeing ZombieKart's results

24th: Iulian Pitea (Dofasco): +1 LAP
Fastest lap: Jack Christopherson Jr (1:39.06)
Talk about uneventful. Most of the passing in this race was done in the pits, unless someone, like Hendra Naufal or Yuka Katayama, just had no pace at all. Zimmer pitted a lap later than Kazama, giving him the jump for his first win, and Pazzini did a solid job, but wasn't as quick as race 1.
Round 3 - Brands Hatch - Wrap-up
Round Winner: Tomo Kazama - 19 points, 1 win, 1 2nd and 1 fastest lap
Tomo Kazama becomes the first driver to win two rounds, and while a bit anonymous in race 2, she took advantage of Michael Cameron's absence in race 3 to sneak into the championship lead. Barely.
Reject of the Weekend: Joel Melrose
Qualifying aside, race 1 was average at best, and race 2 was even worse than Jimenez at Laguna Seca.
Infinite Improbability Drive of the Weekend: Scuderia Alitalia
I didn't think they'd be this competitive straight away, and I know kostas didn't
F3RWRS Championship Standings:

13th: Harry Austin (MA-Junior): +49.59
14th: Renaldo Jimenez (JLD): +53.29
15th: Joe Harmsky (Shonan): +55.03
16th: Alberto Donegro (Tociclao): +1:00.39

20th: Wojciech Cieslar (Dofasco): +1 LAP
21st: Kim Lee-Wang (Team Asia): +1 LAP
22nd: Hendra Naufal (Team Asia): +1 LAP
23rd: Yuri Sokolov (Shonan): +1 LAP
=1st: T. Kazama - 37 (2 wins, 1 2nd, 1 3rd)

TMLW, it should be Brands Hatch, not Laguna Seca (the bolded text is what I refer).

I hope he finds success elsewhere, but in the meantime I look forward to welcoming Terry Hawkin back to the team, after his amazing successes in the F2RWRS. Eric has had another fairly tough weekend, but it's been difficult for us all with the huge crash brought on by Joel in race 2. I'm hoping Eric will improve for the next race in Germany.

Lucarelli has missed six races this season and is already 8th in the championship. And Gigi is not far behind either in 11th. Perhaps if we had entered sooner Prospec wouldn't have dominated so far...
Alessandro Lucarelli wrote:After qualifying I expected a nightmare weekend. It was not even my fault I qualified so far back, and there was not much I could do in Race 1 from that position. But, it is obviously worth considering I maybe would have been caught up in the Melrose bathplug at the beginning of race two, when he tried to vaporise everything in sight. And finally in race three, I was hoping to get onto the podium, but the guys up front were quick and made no mistakes, and Christopherson behind me was the fastest guy on track so I couldn't keep him behind. I am still happy for the points though. I'm very optimisic for the rest of the season now.
Gigi Pazzini wrote:A podium! It'sa great way to finish off'a the weekend. Hopefully for me the next step is a win. Alessandro already did it this weekend, so the car can do it, I know this for sure. Now to prepare for Germany.

Hydook to take over Ecurie Albertini?
F1 Rejects Magazine revealed that Hydook Racing Team is willing to take over Ecurie Albertini.
Croatian F2RWRS outfit formed by Anton and Bratislav Bosevic wants to expand their operation in Rejects World Race Series and provide their drivers the full development programme, and possibly will try to enter F1RWRS in the nearest future.

OK, can we confirm driver changes for Germany? What I've got so far is:

Scuderia Alitalia
IN - Enrico Molinaro
Lotus Development
OUT - Simon Garfunkel
IN - Lorenzo Crescenzi
Christopherson Racing
IN - Ragnar Larsen
Jones Racing
OUT - Joel Melrose
IN - Terry Hawkin
Have I missed anything?

Re: F3RWRS - Yet another feeder series
Well i don't know which driver Scuderia Italia will place at TTFKALDWGLPATLBFSATWODABRDREVTCGBSKAL / Lotus Development
Anyway, they are still considering a third driver, so far no-body seems to be willing to drive for them. Being able to remember the team name is not necessairy.
At least one of following things are required:
-Having talent
-Being female
-Coming from an obscure country
-Paying huge amounts of cash
-Having a cool name

If a F3RWRS event and a F1RWRS event are on the same weekend and in the same location, can a driver participate in both?

No because that would fall foul of the F3RWRS driver qualifications as stated on page 1 and clarified by TMLW a few weeks ago.

Germany should be up this weekend, I'm on holidays at the moment, and having already done the race I brilliantly forgot to bring my laptop with the results on it. All I'll say for now is that a few drivers may be DSQed from race 3, AndreaModa shall be quite pleased, and the carnage in all three races hasn't resulted in any injuries.
And to Klon: If all three series were at the same weekend, a driver could in theory do at least one race in the F3, as long as they didn't take part in pre-qualifying for F1. Maybe two, if race 2 is before qualifying.

I think the order for the German Super weekend is as follows:
Thursday:
F3RWRS Qualifying
Friday:
F1RWRS Pre-Qualifying
F3RWRS Race 1
F2RWRS Qualifying
F1RWRS Friday Qualifying
Saturday:
F3RWRS Race 2
F1RWRS Saturday Qualifying
F2RWRS Race
Sunday:
F3RWRS Race 3
F1RWRS Race
And who said the F1RWRS was no match for F1?
