Psst. Scuderia Alitalia didn't start until Britain - we're still a few races away in the F1RWRS
Does that mean we can accuse him of time-travelling and altering the future?

Completely fictitious and false statements like those just showcase to the world your immaturity, and inability to cut it on the world stage. Castrol Jones Racing enjoys a privileged position within the F1RWRS as one of the oldest, most successful teams in its history, and as such, you cannot simply swat us away like a inconsequential fly in your ridiculously overblown 'masterplan' which simply involves flooding the junior categories with a bunch of unproven rookies, and trying to run a team from the remains of the most comical entry in the series' history. I mean Christ, who thought up the name Virgin InterCorse? I hope you fired them quickly!

It's probably more than what MRT have. Spencer's engine blew up in Australia, I spend the rest of the credits on reliability and the engine STILL has the characteristics of a hand-grenade

STARTING GRID
RACE
This is the year F1RWRS finally lost fear to hosting wet races (in the past year a session would be postponed if rain was to appear), and Monaco was the best (or the worst, if one is to ask some drivers) place for the liquid to appear in race conditions. And it did. And it did heavily, in the worst conditions since F1 in 1984. In fact, this race was a master combination of the 1984, 1988 and 1996 F1 Races, combining the best elements from all of them: Sure it was a crash fest, but we saw as well a genius driver dominating and then losing it all because of a stupid mistake (Mark Dagnall), an underdog emerging to take the win where everybody else failed to secure the lead (Sammy Jones), and then two extra heroes in the podium; one charging from the very back of the grid (Nicolas Steele) and the other driving a solid rock race (Moll). We also had the underdog with the conditions to win but ultimately failing to do so due to own mistakes (Mirko Bosevic). All in all, a tremendous race, plenty of action, accidents and the thrill of not knowing what could happen next, who would fail to secure the car at the next corner or who would end up leading the race.
We knew it was going to be good when we saw that pile-up at the nouvelle chicane in the 2nd lap where Schiller and Mann retired, with The Stig lasting only a couple of extra yards before hitting the wall. At that point, Steele became trapped and lost 20 seconds along with a number of drivers. From then on, the race was simply an incredible caroussel of spins and cars going into the barriers. Everybody seemed on danger but Mark Dagnall, who pulled a gap of 2 seconds every lap, driving fearlessly (sometimes carelessly) untill his first major mistake of the season; He didn´t care watching the mirrors as he exited the pits after his stop and didn´t see Jones approaching, getting into the way of the green and white car, who couldn´t avoid hitting the DGN at the back, sending him into the barriers. For that, and for throwing an amazing opportunity to pull 10 extra points when all he had to do was drive 2 seconds slower than everybody else a lap on new tyres to win, he gets our ROTR award. Mirko Bosevic closely got it though. The pole sitter couldn´t keep Dagnall behind for long, but he was happilly pulling a serious gap over Rhys Davies when he spun at Massenet. It almost became a disaster when Dave Simpson also spun trying to avoid the Arrowtech, and then his team-mate Martins did a third spin at the spot when trying to avoid Bosevic car. That almost took both Arrowtech out of the race. It didn´t put an end to Bosevic speed, but he was unable to pass Moll in the second half of the race and his chances ended there.
Once Dagnall retired, chances jumped from one driver to another; first Shinobu Katayama, but the Japanese female retired soon after with the gearbox letting her down. Then Mori, but he went too hard over a kerb and threw away his chance, and by then Bosevic had lost all his chances. All the craziness around was completed when only 5 drivers crossed the finish line and classified. The lowest number ever in a F1RWRS. We loved how the race developed and we´re asking ourselves how it´s taken that much for it to happen. We´ll put our prayers onclouds going wherever F1RWRS is at.

Monaco beter be exciting as the one I spent the last three days running. If a MRT or a DGN car is on pole and/or wins then I'll be first to stand up with the conspiracy theories.

Best Pre-Qualifying session of the year so far, 6 different cars in Top 6 and Top 6 teams close enough.

It is in the nature of Klonen to be multiple identical copies of the same individual.
Furthermore, my conspiracy whining is merely in-character.

Just because I was good enough to see a loophole 6 months in advance and managed to exploit it before Aerond closed it again doesn't mean you can whinge about it.

Well, the rain carset is on for Qualifying and Race and the order should be a bit different from usual and more packed.

The sad thing is I can actually see that happening.*

On a totally unrelated note, I've realised I've Flanderised myself on the forum over the years. I used to sound quite intelligent in the early days

If my prediction were to become real and I were to invest one month of state support , I'd be bathplugging rich.
Of course, I would do the wise thing: bet on the Best In The World to retire within the first half of the race.

On the bright side, if you do retire on the last lap, you won't have to pay out on the bet

Turkish domestic startup airline Air Istanbul is to become the title sponsor of Acuri Autosport from the French Grand Prix onwards. The airline was set up as MRT owner Daniel Melrose's latest business venture after the Australian sold Air Alaska to Canadian flag carrier Air Canada at the end of last year for a reported $200 million, much of which went to paying for the expansion of the MRT engine workshop in Cologne and MRT HQ in Munich. While neither Melrose or Acuri Autosport owner Andrea Acuri were available for comment, the deal is rumoured to be worth upwards of $5 million a year.

An MRT will win, a DGN car will be second, and the third will be an unexpected driver, I think.

The sad thing is I can actually see that happening.*

It does indeed make me wonder too. But what I really am wondering, considering all the predictions going on at the moment on here, is whether this race will prove your comment right, or whether Foxdale will get its surprise result!

(interesting) qualifying results up!
Let me explain how I develop this. As some of you know, you need to run one race before doing the actual session in Gp2 to get your results randomized. What I´m doing is, for this season, running the number of sessions according to the Round. That is, for Bathurst, which is round 2, I just run 2 Gp2 sessions, for Fuji, which is Round 16, I run 16 sessions, then the 16th will be the valid run.
As this is the first time we use the Wet carset in race conditions i was very curious to see what results popped up, and with the BHP equalisation in rainy conditions, and the changed race performance files (which were the original, plus or minus 500 points, totally randomized) I got crazy results in every previous session to the valid run. In one Nicolas Steele got the pole (now he starts 24th!), in another Phoenix McAllister finished a race in 2nd, in one I saw Mark Dagnall qualifying 14th and two of the others were totally dominated by Gillet drivers. This basically means anything can happen when we run the Rain carset.

Tread lightly in ARWS. Every decision might be your last.

Easy;
1 - Sheer bad luck
2 - Acuri´s chassis (which counts as well) is slightly faster.

Daniel Melrose wrote:Far out. The F2RWRS qualifying session left all sorts of mess on the track as the drivers there were trying every line possible which meant by the time we got on track for today's session, the cars were all over the place. I ever saw an ARC pointing the wrong way at Tabac having seemingly hit the wall quite heavily. With the weather forecast as it is, it's gonna make for an epic race tomorrow. Now, if you'll excuse me, I've got an F2RWRS race to watch. Hopefully Macklin can jump Lamberigts and Cara to take the race win for MRT.
