I was going to do a post about this after race 1 but it slipped my mind.
The stewards decided that while a move was deliberately made, no contact was made, Cameron didn't end up on the grass, and he got the position anyway, and wasn't passed by Hawkin. As a result, Swerts will receive a reprimand for dangerous driving, but no further action will be taken, unless Swerts repeats the incident.
When is the Surfers Superprix relative to the current round taking place, and will it clash with an F1RWRS round?

Semi Off-Topic for a minute and I still honestly have no idea why van Nieuwenhuijzen is being taken to the cleaners by just about everyone because the performance file is as follows:

In theory, this means that he should be faster than Shioya on a consistent basis but something's crapped itself in GP4 which I can't find the root cause of because Shioya's performance has been fine.

Cameron went for the adventurous no refuel strategy that Walsh and Pitea used at Laguna Seca, and made it pay off here. OK, so by the pit stop phase on laps 4-6, he was second anyway, which made his drive seem all the better. The result means that Cameron loses the round to Simpson by one point, thanks to Simpson's pole at the start of the weekend. Further back, King did an excellent job of being a mobile roadblock, meaning 7 cars finished within less than a second. The only DNF was Molinaro, who was the poor sod who got to pit last in the Scuderia Alitalia stable, running out of fuel just as he got to Blanchimont.
Round 5 - Wrap-Up
Round Winner: Carter Simpson - 19 points, 1 win, 1 2nd and pole position. The pole made the difference as the worst performer for ZimSport in the early part of the season takes their first round win, although his race 2 wasn't very convincing.

I hope you are discarding the save file for the 2014 championship for 2015 and starting fresh (with the old performance files). Perhaps next year with those values he will do a bit better.

I acknowledge the mistakes with Cameron and Crescenzi (simply me failing to count), and Katayama (my spreadsheet had Kazama with fastest lap in race 1 at Brands Hatch), but I can't figure out where Kazama gets an extra point from.
I also seem to have made mistakes with Prospec's, Christopherson's and Falik's team scores, but I've fixed those.

The F1RWRS council has been called into an urgency meeting regarding the press coverage bonanza some team owners are getting lately by discrediting some of their rivals. "Of course there must be rivalry, and team owners are, by nature, going to disagree with their colleagues, but we've noticed some of them going too far with their words lately. The council has decided not to take any action this time, but we want to send a warning; we won´t tolerate any personal offenses from now on, and we´re going to award penalties where it hurts the most: Credits (race bans for drivers). Any disrespectful and offensive language will be penalised with anything from 50 to 500 credits, with no exceptions. We remind the team owners that this is a sport, and that the regulations everyone signed already foresee this, in particular Article 15.4, section C: "Penalties can be awarded to any team, driver or any other team member if they consistently fail to show commitment for the good of the sport. Penalties can also be provided if a team, team owner or any other team member, including drivers, bring the sport to disrespectful practices or damage the global image of the sport"

We have done nothing to justify a penalty. If they decide to ban us we will be taking the case to a court of law. The irony of all this will be the F3RWRS Commission breaking their own rules in relation to Article 151c. We had precedent to voice our concerns in the manner we did, and if they have a problem with that, perhaps they should consider following their own rules before trying to suppress the genuine concerns of the teams. The only other breach of 151c in this case is the presence of Mr Joel Melrose.

He deliberately failed to apply the brakes heading into a medium speed right hand corner and could have easily killed someone with his reckless driving. I certainly think such behaviour comes under "[damaging] the global image of the sport". We don't need another death after the tragedy of Dave McFaste. People must not get complacent about driver safety. This is why I insist on my complaint against his presence on track at Surfers.

After all we owe a lot of money from Scuderia Alitalia, (and from Lotus Development). We however have to repeat we are not in financial trouble, we have lots of other great financial partners.

No, the reason I ask is that I am wondering whether I can use one of my new drivers that I have entered for the Superprix (Martin McFry and Eff One) as a replacement for Christopherson/his replacement after the Superprix?
