Aerond: Take note - at the beginning of the 2015 season Simpson Motorsports starts with 990 credits instead of 1000 and Scuderia Alitalia gets 10.

This means Fukuda is confirmed in the car FOR NOW - but if anyone wants to negotiate one of their junior drivers into the seat (pay-drivers only) we are listening to offers.

Former Indianapolis 500 winner John Zimmer and Former F1RWRS Champion Gary Cameron have both been offered positions in the newly expanded F1RWRS Commission for 2015 and beyond. Zimmer is expected to take the role of Race Director for all F1RWRS, F2RWRS and F3RWRS events in 2015 while Gary Cameron has been appointed chief steward for all three categories after he announced his retirement from driving duties at the end of the year. Neither Zimmer, Cameron or F1RWRS Commissioner Daniel Prieto were available for comment.

No, it doesn't actually mean anything but I thought it'd be pretty cool to have some of the older former drivers take up positions outside the teams

It would make a nice change for me to be the one with a potentially suspicious conflict of interests

Of course, in game, Cameron would have to reject this offer on the grounds of a conflict of interests (as, I believe, would Zimmer, and I for one would be lobbying to make sure he did!). Daniel Prieto, in-game, has no interest in any team, as Aerond's teams are run by Chris Dagnall and El Jonan.

Gah! Where are the race results??? Oh what the heck. I am going to assume that Christopherson didn't score and therefore Pippa Mann has sacked him and she is going to take the drive herself!

And as everybody else is doing it, I will post my teams and drivers here too.

Drivers:
Douglas Mann (F1RWRS)
Pippa Mann (F1RWRS)
Ben Fleet (F1RWRS)
Martin McFry (at moment one-off drive in F3RWRS Surfer's Superprix)
Ephran One Jnr (aka Eff One) (ditto for McFry)

Teams:
Foxdale Auto Racing Team (permanent in F1RWRS and one-off in F3RWRS Superprix)

Actually, I want to clarify something;

A) eurobrun, I'm still awaiting your junior driver proposition...
B) Are there any pay drivers currently unemployed? I think I'd rather avoid bringing yet another one of my drivers into the system if possible.

Klon said that he is probably not going to need a pay driver next year so Micko Glotch might be available. If not then young Italian Pay driver Luca Aldomeceri is available (he dosen't have any experience though).

Autosport wrote:Jones:"Valuable Christopherson An Asset We're Willing To Share"

Following the sacking of Jack Christopherson from the Foxdale Auto Racing Team this evening, Sammy Jones, owner of Castrol Jones Racing and currently employer for Christopherson who is a test driver for his team, has announced he remains part of his operation.

"Despite Foxdale foolishly binning Jack, a veteran of F1 and a highly skilled driver in his own right, he remains part of the Castrol Jones Racing organisation, and I hope we can slot him into our operation on a more permanent basis in the future", hinted Jones, a known admirer of Christopherson's talent.

"For the current season we have two drivers, myself and Daniel, who are more than happy driving for the team, and as such I have no intention to replace either of us to fit Jack in for 2014. As a result, we are more than willing to allow Jack to drive for another team whilst still under contract to us, in the same way he's driven for Foxdale up until now, providing he agrees to the move. We will in no way loan him out against his will, though we will expect a team requesting his services for the remainder of 2014 to compensate us for Foxdale's cancelled contract.

"Therefore we propose a 5 credit fee, payable to Christopherson himself, for every race he's entered for by a team wishing to employ him. He's a valuable asset that we feel should be recognised by other teams in the way Foxdale haven't, hence the fee. Anyone willing to enter negotiations should contact both myself and Jack prior to making any formal announcement.

"For 2015 though, our options are still very much open, and I'd like to think we'd be able to repay Jack for what he's given the team this year, though in what way I can't possibly speculate at this time."

Considering Dave Simpson is currently a free agent, there is absolute NO CHANCE anyone is going to pay to have that waste of space on their team.

I wouldn't call him a waste of space at all.

In the first 7 races of the season, Christopherson has retired from 6 of them, with 4 of those retirements as a result of reliability problems with the Foxdale (two engine failures, a suspension problem, and an oil leak), and his retirement at Adelaide caused entirely by Mark Dagnall smashing into the back of him. He did crash at Monaco admittedly, but then again, so did about 75% of the field!

So I wouldn't be at all surprised if Pippa Mann now back driving once more, struggles to better the one finish Christopherson does have, an 9th place to his name at Mexico.

I'd be very interested to see how Christopherson would do in a far more reliable car, I think he has a lot more potential than most people believe right now.

So Kostas, me old flower, how about we make things a bit more interesting?

I'll loan you Christopherson (pending his approval of course) for Scuderia Trueba Alitalia for the remaining 8 races of the 2014 season, and allow you to promote a driver of your choosing into Hawkin's current seat in the F2RWRS at Scuderia Jones Italia for the rest of the F2RWRS season, in return for a payment of 50 credits. What say you to that? ;)

What say you to that? ;)

I have to pay you 50 credits for that? Get outta town! Pay drivers only for the rest of the season or no dice.

Can I spend all of ARC's money on reliability updates?

Katayama had an average race. She was running 4th at the time of retirement but wasn´t doing anything remarkable.

No, Pippa Mann is going to take the drive herself. Pippa has historically been better in this series than Douglas Mann, being (if I remember correctly) 2012 F1RWRS champion.

And Douglas is currently 4th= in the championship with 15 points while Jack Christopherson has none; this is why Jack is getting the sack. Douglas has also outqualified Jack in all but 1 of the 8 races so far (7-1) by an average of almost 8 places... And the one time Jack was ahead of Douglas, Douglas DNQed, meaning Jack has had one more chance than Douglas to score...

And Foxdale would like to spend its final 5 credits on car/chassis reliability please, or whatever else that 5 credits can be spent on. Thank you!

I'm the third driver to win five F1RWRS races, unless I'm very much mistaken, and to have Aurelien behind me is even better. I'm second in the championship, but I've got to come back down to Earth. Our car isn't quite as quick as last season, and I don't expect to be fighting for the title, but to score another win would be awesome.

Aurelien Moll wrote:Well, that was exciting, wasn't it? Second place is still good, especially as it will help the team greatly for the championship. That's my tenth podium, and hopefully not my last. Like Thomas, I'm hoping for a win later on this year.

Tony Gillet wrote:Well, what can I say? both our drivers drove well out there, kept out of trouble when they had to, took advantage of the attrition and it payed off! We're leading the construcotrs' championship for the first time, I believe, and to do so after scoring our first ever 1-2 is even better. I sincerely hope we'll continue the year this way, but we'll need more high-attrition races...

I could do so if you don't mind (and would accept waiting until Tuesday or Wednesday, depending on my speed).
