What a horrible think I wrote! :o
I'm sorry HWNSNBM, please don't throw me papayas!

I wanted to say I don't miss a season where the same driver won 13 races!
Despite being a Schumacher's supporter (I'm sorry HWNSNBM, again), I found that season really boring! :-)
But naturally HWNSNBM was not boring! :-)
I'm Perry McCarthy and Taki Inoue's fan number 1 and I always will be.

- Jacques Villeneuve (F1 just wasn't the right category for him I think)
- Alex Zanardi in F1 (Ditto)
- Adrian Sutil
- Nick Heidfeld
- Rubens Barrichello (But I am eagerly awaiting him in IndyCar!)
- Sebastien Buemi
- Old Hockenheim (The races are boring, even if they were scenic...)
- Schumacher Domination
- 2011 Season (some of the races were pretty good though!)
- 20 car grids.
- Williams Domination (Even more boring than Vettel domination, let's be honest...)

Thank Bridgestone for that. Tried it for the first race after Michelin left (Australia 2007) and never did it again when they realised it was a stupid idea and decided to paint one of the groove on the tires instead.

Then you REALLY don't want to venture into the Perry McCarthy Memorial forum where Daniel Melrose makes winning 10+ races in a F1 season a formality

I remember when I first started watching F1 in the early 90s, the only qualifying I would ever see was the British GP as the BBC never showed any of the others, and a couple of times the Saturday was wet after the Friday had been dry and the session was completely pointless (and hardly any cars went out)!!

But a single wet qualifying session is great!

All the engines sounding the same.... Oh wait sorry.

Being serious, I don't miss Max Mosley, Bridgestone(pirelli have really stepped up to the plate), and Bahrain if it stays off the calendar.

Actually Zolder's been mentioned earlier in the thread - I thought that was only meant to be a stopgap measure as Spa-Francorchamps had got too dangerous, yet it on the calndar for over a decade, what was that all about?

It was intended to rotate with Nivelles, but as Nivelles hit financial trouble, Zolder organised the race every year, until the new Spa was ready. I think it was intended to rotate too, but as Zolder did have some financial trouble (and still have) and not being very liked, it did only happen in '84.
Also what played in Zolder's cards was probably that they have good road connections (but their very poor infrastructure was a downside, and after the incidents in 81, most people got fed up with the track, and 82 didn't help their image either)
Now i have no informations on why Spa was only ready in 1983 to organise the race again.
I don't know what i want and i want it now!
