The one time I played right-back in real life was an utter disaster!

Einarsson flings the captains armband in Andrew Spokes' direction.

85th Minute - Goal for Andorra, the free kick is chipped in by Carlos Ortega, Headed in by Ruiz Bonilla, 2-2.

Not the best start to vice-captaincy....!

You don't have a choice. Your virtual self will ignore your real self and sign for whoever the hell he wants.

I know, but I hope he'll take Waregem, because 3rd Division, on here, is seen as better than 2nd Division.

i think kapellen is third division too, i have never even heared of eendracht Zele and Londerzeel
and it is true that 3rd division is better, they have the same amount of income as 2nd division, only that they don't have to pay their players, which makes the costs a lot less,
meaning that allmost all 2nd division teams have financial problems. But at Mons you got paid and at least a realistic prospect of a promotion to first division ;)
Also you will have Elio Di Rupo himself supporting you. Just don't drop the soap when you're taking a shower after the game :D

Live Updates here:

7 Minutes - A Corner taken by temporary Captain Dave McFaste is met on the head by Giovanni Roda, but skims off the outside of the near post.

13 Minutes - GOAL!!! A Throw in by Kozco finds its way to the heart of the attacking midfield, Roda taps the ball back to Alasdair Lindsay who is about 25 yards from goal, it's shot low and fast, Back. Of. The. Net. 1-0 Vanuatu.

21 Minutes - GOAL!!! Teamwork again from the midfield, Lilly passes to Lindsay, who smartly taps it back to McFaste, he sees Morrison in space, who in turn spots Roda running clear of his marker, through ball to Roda who gives the Am-Sam goalkeeper no chance, 2-0 Vanuatu!!!

31 Minutes - GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOAAAAL!!!! David Kozco with a long ball from Vanuatu's own 35 yards, met by Roda who is clear of the Am-Sam offside trap, only the Keeper to beat, does no wrong, its 3-0 to Vanuatu and the locals are loving every minute of this game.

38 Minutes - With Vanuatu's attack showing Am-Sam their weak spots, there are about 6 Vanuatiu players trying to get a goal, David McFaste is the last to shoot from distance in this attacking onslaught, only for it to deflect off of Barry Morrison, and wide of goal.

Half Time: Vanuatu 3 American Samoa 0

Its Alessandro Lucarelli's first game for Vanuatu after making his controversial decision to apply for the Vanuatu Sporting Green Card, he has not really got a mention so far because the defense have been relatively untroubled.

No Half-Time substitutions for Vanuatu, however Alasdair Lindsay is still having concerns about his knee.

58 Minutes - Some of the subs appear to be getting ready to come on, Lindsay has already waved to the bench in some discomfort. Ed Kevin also feeling the strain of being the only player on the right hand side of the pitch. Fox will come on in place of Ed Kevin, that means Kozco is to switch from left to right, Lucarelli in the left back position now and Fox alongside Ormken in the heart of defense. Daniel Martins to come on in place of Lindsay.

64 Minutes - Goal for American Samoa, their own sub, Ioane was able to run in space between Kozco and Ormken, and chipped the ball over Kay Lon in the Vanuatu goal. 3-1 Vanuatu.

71 Minutes - Im Min the American Samoan Midfielder goes in a bit too rough on Gordon Moss, the player is down and clearly out of the game, the Vanuatu coaching staff absolutely livid. On will come Thomas De Bock in Moss's place, and yet another re-shuffle, this time to the midfield.

78 Minutes gone and the posession play is back in Vanuatu's hands, Thomas De Bock and Daniel Martins playing neat passes to the forwards who cannot seem to find space, Morrison tries a shot, it bounces back from one of the Am-Sam defenders, Morrison passes to De Bock, he shoots... Wide by inches.

85 Minutes and another gradual build up of Attack leads to another miss from distance, this time from Daniel Martins, the shot only just misses the right hand corner....flag.

90th minute, the Fourth Official holds up the all too well known board and it signifies that there are 3 minutes of extra play to go, a bit less than the Vanuatu bench expected for the injury to Gordon Moss, however Vanuatu have three more subs to put on:

Lilly off - Mignolet on
Kozco off - Spokes on
Lucarelli off - Einarsson on

Cue the respected applause from the 6000+ Vanuatu fans.

91 Minutes - Another slow build up and De Bock is almost T-Boned by an Am-Sam defender, the crowd jeer, but De Bock avoids the collision to pass to Giovanni Roda, who returns the favor to Morrison who shoots and scores from close range, he runs to the bench in celebration, only to see the Linesman's flag waving in his peripheral vision, offside.

Full Time - 3-1 to Vanuatu and another win, Giovanni Roda given Man of the Match.

Someone's been watching the Goal movies :P.

We're still in 2007, you've only just started your first season with YB Berne...

Oh please no. I forcibly forgot about the existence of those movies.
