I won't be home at Sunday, so will only watch the race on Monday. That means I will avoid this forum, as well. Obviously, you don't have to wait for me to start rating. Anyone who can't keep his ratings in himself/herself can open the thread for R2.

I have ratings and I must foist them upon you.

You have 100 hours, and not 1 second more, to rate the drivers based on their performance during the Malaysian Grand Prix. Scale 1-10, no half-marks.

Vettel 5 Not what you would expect from him, struggling all week and when good points come, ruins it by crashing in to Karthikeyan
Webber 7 a very anonymous 4th, had good pace at the end.

Button 3 Australia was Button at his best, Malaysia was Button at perhaps his worst, crashing in to Karthikeyan foolishly, having poor pace on teh first set of inters, time wasting switch to other set of inters and more poor pace.
Hamilton 7 a very anonymous 3rd, had good pace at the start

Alonso 10, flat out Alonso, all signs point to a fantastic season from Alonso and a well deserved championship lead (even if I don't like him)
Massa 3, why is he still driving for Ferrari? Didn't do badly at the first leg but as it dried up he vanished.

Schumacher 7, had the measure over Rosberg but that was more a problem of Rosberg,
Rosberg 4, Schumacher was span to last on the first lap and Rosberg still finished behind him, what happened to the Rosberg of the last couple of seasons?

Räikkonen 8, Kimi drove very well, not more can be said really.
Grosjean 3, drove like a loon in the wet, fast but error prone, he needs to shake the error tag.

Di Resta 8, drove well had the measure of Hulkenberg
Hülkenberg 7, very average.

Kobayashi 4, car problems aside was destroyed by Perez in all conditions.
Perez 9, hard to decide between 9 and 10, should have won the race though so gets the 9.

Ricciardo 7, looked confident in all conditions but could not match Vergne
Vergne 9, did excellently to hang on to the Inters and was generally fast and consistent, you wouldn't think he was a rookie.

Maldonado 6, was clattered by Senna at the start and another dramatic late race DNF (not his fault) anonymous otherwise.
Senna 8, all over the place to begin with but settled down to a great finish, if he had only qualified/ran better at the start could of been a podium contender.

Kovalainen 4, poor compared to Petrov.
Petrov 7, drove well and was ahead of Massa for a large period of time.

de la Rosa 5, Had so much bad luck, couldn't really show what he could do.
Karthikeyan 8, look racey and was running as high as 7th (down to 10th at red flag) Button and Vettel hitting him were not his fault at all.

Glock 5, didn't see him.

Vettel - Made a mess of lapping Karthikeyan, not particularly quick either. 6
Webber - Hung onto 4th, wasn't going to trouble the leaders though. 7

Button - Hit Karthikeyan, couldn't switch on a set of inters, a race to forget. 3
Hamilton - Started well, but lost out on pit calls. He was lucky Vettel popped his tyre. 7

Alonso - Manipulated his strategy to perfection, coming in at the right time to pip both McLarens. Held the race, but lucky that Perez slipped off. 9
Massa - Useless, can't cling on for much longer, surely. 2

Schumacher - Fell away after the spin, and lucked into a point. Strong race, though. 6
Rosberg - Disappeared completely. Not at all what he needs. 3

Räikkonen - Set a handful of quick laps, did a very good job all round. 8
Grosjean - Lightning start, but went from storm in a teacup to a bit of a mug. 2

Di Resta - Solid race, nothing special but got points in dodgy conditions. 7
Hülkenberg - Couldn't better Di Resta today, but kept pace. 6

Kobayashi - Looked good for a few points but the car stuffed up on him. Made some cracking overtakes again though. 6
Perez - Brilliant drive. Deserved a win, but for that little error on the penultimate corner. 9

Ricciardo - Set the pace on slicks, but got outdone by his team-mate. 6
Vergne - Assured performance, had good pace and drove well to stay on inters that long at the start. 8

Maldonado - Could have got a point or two, but his Renault decided to give up on him. 6
Senna - Carved through the field, got his just desserts. 8

Kovalainen - Got beaten by Petrov and Glock. Not the best race he's ever had. 4
Petrov - Steady, managed to pull away from Massa and Button at one point. 6

de la Rosa - His team rather messed it up a little for him. 5
Karthikeyan - Showed he likes a fight, got in the way a little often though. Managed to reach 10th at the red flag. 6

Glock - Beat Kovalainen, showed the car's got reliability and a bit of race pace. 6
Pic - Didn't notice you, pal. Just another Di Grassi by the looks of things. 4

Vettel - 6 Good pace overall, but just looked a bit bored. Running into Karthikeyan at the end didn't help.
Webber - 7 Very quick towards the end of the race, but just couldn't catch up to Hamilton.

Button - 4 Even though his last run was good, he made a big mistake by hitting Karthikeyan, which ruined his race.
Hamilton - 7 A good race, settled nicely in third place.

Alonso - 10 Flawless drive in a crap car.
Massa - 3 Crap drive in a crap car.

Schumacher - 6 He scored a point, but he was barely seen after lap 1.
Rosberg - 5 What happened? It seems like he was getting passed all over the place.

Räikkonen - 8 Great pace in the wet, kept his cool, taking his first steps towards unrejectification on his comeback.
Grosjean - 2 Spun off on lap 2. He needs to complete more laps if he wants results.

Di Resta - 7 Solid drive
Hülkenberg - 6 Solid drive as well, just a tiny bit less impressive than di Resta.

Kobayashi - 5 Pretty much destroyed by his teammate, anonymous all race.
Perez - 9 He would have gotten a 10 if it weren't for his blunder at the end.

Ricciardo - 5 He didn't look very inspired, and just couldn't keep up with the front of the midfield.
Vergne - 8 A mature drive, very consistent. It looks like he knows how to take care of his tyres, which should help him score high in a few races.

Maldonado - 6 Pretty anonymous, really.
Senna - 8 A nice drive to put Williams on the scoresheet, the first top-six finish for the team since Singapore 2010.

Kovalainen - 5 Meh
Petrov - 5 Meh

de la Rosa - 4 Only heard of when he got a drive-through.
Karthikeyan - 8 Somehow, a strategic stroke of genius landed him in the top ten, which is pretty much a victory for HRT.

Glock - 5 Wait, who?
Pic - 7 Like Karthikeyan, pitstop windows got him up to fifth at one point, only to fall back down the order as fast as he climbed up.

Vettel - 5,5 Not a bad race, but nothing overly great either. His suspension troubles after the clash with Karthikeyan only added a bit of salt in the wounds.
Webber - 6,5 For once, he made a decent start (not a good one, mind you) and raced strongly all race.

Button - 4 He wasn't all that bad per se, but his front-wing-crushing collision with Karthikeyan destroyed his race, and McLaren's pit crew's mishaps didn't help either.
Hamilton - 8 He was perjudicated by the McLaren pit crew having a day off, but even so 3rd place was where he deserved to finish.

Alonso - 10 I'm sorry to all Alonso haters here, but he dragged the Ferrari F2012 to the top step. Was he lucky today? In part, yes, but it's one thing having luck, another one altogether being able to take advantage of it.
Massa - 1 Pathetic. The less it's said about him, the better.

Schumacher - 4 He could have raced better, but both the W03's tyre management issues and being hit and spun by Grosjean did him no favours.
Rosberg - 3 Another mediocre race from him. Michael Schumacher is completely having the measure of him this year.

Räikkonen - 7,5 Solid and fast all race.
Grosjean - 2 He may have had the pace, but he just didn't last enough on the track to show it.

Di Resta - 6,5 An OK showing.
Hülkenberg - 6 Refer to di Resta, Paul.

Kobayashi - 3,5 He was blown away by Pérez, again. Where's the Kobayashi we all loved so much in 2010?
Perez - 10 Superlative, he could have won the race, if he drives like this all year he may well end up 6th or 7th in the championship.

Ricciardo - 4,5 Nothing special
Vergne - 7 He was quite mediocre in qualifying, but got the job done on Sunday, when it counts.

Maldonado - 6 He had his moments, both good and bad, in the race. Still, he should have walked away with a point that was not to be.
Senna - 7 Now I was really surprised with him. He spun on the first lap but the rest of the race was error free.

Kovalainen - 5 Petrov had the measure of him all the race.
Petrov - 7 Not bad, no real errors to speak of and he was the best of the "bottom 3".

de la Rosa - 5 Poor man, it seems when something can go wrong, it'll go wrong for him, and for a change it wasn't his fault.
Karthikeyan - 5 I don't know what to make of this guy's race. He was for a moment in the top 10, then goes and spoils the race of both Button and Vettel (only his fault in Vettel's case).

Glock - 7 Very good race, finishing ahead of Kovalainen.
Pic - 6 Decent enough.

Not bad, except for the blown tyre.
Webber - 7
Great start and a consistent pace throughout - well deserved 4th place.

Button - 3
Disastrous race for Jense. Bumped into Karthikeyan, and then struggled to overtake the underdogs.
Hamilton - 8
Good drive in hard conditions.

Alonso - 9
Didn't expect him to do any good here. Nando proved he is the champion after all
Massa - 2
I feel sorry for Felipe and hope him all the best - but Ferrari would be better off without him. Felipe Baby is in a constant decline since Hungary 2009, and had two seasons to return to former glory. For this race he was given all the possible advantages and didn't to any better.

Schumacher - 4
Rosberg - 3
Where has all the advantage gone? Mercs seemed to be pretty fast in Australia but here - despite front row qualifying - they barely got one point, had it not been for Maldonado.

Räikkonen - 7
Kimi is on the rise - I expect him to finish on the podium anytime soon
Grosjean - 1
Why can't he just try and finish the race?

Di Resta - 6
Hülkenberg - 6
They were mostly anonymous throughout the race, but once again finished in the points.

Kobayashi - 4
Been in and out of points a couple of times, and been on a good pace at one point. Too bad he had to retire.
Perez - 9
Had it not been for this little off-track excursion, he could have won. And get a tenner from me.

Ricciardo - 5
Brilliant racer on a dry track, not so brilliant on wet.
Vergne - 7
Great drive with a bit of tyre gambling.

Maldonado - 5
Was on a good way to add a point or two to the tally. Too bad his car failed him this time.
Senna - 8
Great driving with lots of overtaking - way to commemorate Ayrton's birthday.

Kovalainen - 3
Petrov - 3
Where have they been in this race? Oh yeah - battling with Marussias.

de la Rosa - 4
Had it not been for stalling on the main straight, he would put on a show. At least they did some more kilometers they needed.
Karthikeyan - 8
Although F112 is down on power, he dared to battle with Jense and other guys up there. Third best performance of the race for me - no matter he eventually finished 21st.
And he wasn't getting in the way too much - talk about improvement here

Glock - 5
Pic - 5
Not bad, but once again they were completely anonymous and only Pic piced (pun intended) in 5th at one point. Still, could be worse.

With no half-marks this time...

1 Sebastian Vettel - Not what one would expect from him. That damaged tire from clipping Karthikeyan's front wing was rather clumsy. 4/10.
2 Mark Webber - Again, nothing spectacular, but a good performance nonetheless. 7/10.

3 Jenson Button - A performance very much unlike last race. Hit Karthikeyan on a totally unnecessary move, his car is 5+ seconds per lap faster and he would get past anyway. After that, just trundled around. It was an atypical performance from him, too. 3/10.
4 Lewis Hamilton - Did pretty much OK, but nothing special. Was kind of anonymous, but that may be because Perez and Alonso stole the show. 6/10.

5 Fernando Alonso - Flattered the car once again. Another perfect showing under pressure, this time from Perez, and taking a win in a Ferrari so awful that he was losing over a second per lap to Perez even though he was pushing it really hard. Awesome. 10/10.
6 Felipe Massa - Another awful performance. And to add insult to injury, Alonso won and the much-rumored replacement Perez came 2nd. This spells doom for him. My prime candidate for ROTR, once again. 2/10.

7 Michael Schumacher - Even with the Mercedes chewing through its tires and the contact with Grosjean compromising his race, still managed to get a point. 7/10.
8 Nico Rosberg - Fell behind Schumacher even though the latter had a number of problems. 4/10.

9 Kimi Räikkönen - Solid performance, well-deserved 5th. 8/10.
10 Romain Grosjean - Once again failed to capitalize on his qualifying performance, but this time around not only he ended his race early but compromised Schumacher's as well. And this time it was on his own error. 3/10.

11 Paul di Resta - Managed another points-scoring finish. Good drive. 7/10.
12 Nico Hulkenberg - First points for him this year, not as good as Di Resta but not bad, too. 6/10.

14 Kamui Kobayashi - Not a very good weekend for him, even though he retired with a car problem. Especially when Perez on the other car did so well. 4/10.
15 Sergio Perez - Would get the perfect score if he didn't let himself get dominated by eagerness. He would have taken a historic win, but it wasn't to be. That's a sample of how Alonso manages pressure though. Even so, it was a brilliant drive. 9/10.

16 Daniel Ricciardo - Was so-so, I think. Vergne had the measure of him, which I didn't expect. 5/10.
17 Jean-Eric Vergne - Impressive performance, and bagged some points in the end. 7/10.

18 Pastor Maldonado - Had a good drive, too. Would get the final point were it not for the engine giving up. 6/10.
19 Bruno Senna - Once again fell down through the order like a rock, was in last place 30 seconds behind Pic (I think) at one point. He was lucky the race was red-flagged while he was at the back, but to his merit he capitalized on it and managed a great 6th place finish. Only two more for unrejectification! 8/10.

20 Heikki Kovalainen - Had an atypical day, too. Petrov had the measure of him, and was also beaten by Glock to the flag. 4/10.
21 Vitaly Petrov - Unlike Kovalainen, he was on a good day. Managed to hold Massa back for a while, and at one point was pulling away from him. 6/10.

22 Pedro de la Rosa - Was steady, but his team messed up his race, by having personnel at the track after the 3-minute warning at the restart... sheesh. 5/10.
23 Narain Karthikeyan - It's not everyday you see a HRT running in the points. At the red flag he was 10th, and if the race ended then he'd get a half point. His reputation as a moving chicane didn't quite wear off though. 6/10.

24 Timo Glock - A steady performance. Beat Kovalainen to the chequered flag, and that was unexpected. 7/10.
25 Charles Pic - Not bad, but not good either. 5/10.

Both Red Bull's circulated in the points comfortably without any real dramas. Until Vettel's puncture.

Hamilton did a good, solid, mature job that we'd expect to see from Button. I think he'll be disappointed that he let both Alonso and Perez leap-frog him and then never looked likely to reel them in when he had the faster car all weekend prior. Button on the other hand made a mistake hitting Karthikeyan and after being dropped down the order by his unscheduled stop, never looked like he had it in him to claw it back.

Alonso 10
Massa 2
Alonso extracted the absolute maximum that car was going to give, consistently and calmly. Massa on the other hand, looked to be doing okay in a low-mid points finish, about where the car deserves to be, before dropping the ball. He made a mistake, apparently simply because his tires wore off - tires the same age as the ones Alonso was faster than everyone but Perez. And, like Button, he never looked like clawing his way back up the field.

Schumacher 7
Rosberg 6
It's hard to assess the Mercedes drivers because of how risible their cars' tire conservation is. Schumacher seemed to make the most of it, needing one less stop than Rosberg and ultimately finishing ahead of him. I think after his spin, there wasn't much else he could do other than strech out his tires to the line and hope for a scrap. And he got it. Rosberg I don't think had a bad race per se, but he got annihilated in the points positions mid race and a pit stop for new tires seemed to give him a mere handful of quick laps before he was running at the same pace as Schumacher on older tires. So I'll grade him below Schumacher, but not too harshly since I think it was mostly the car letting him down.


Raikkonen 8
Grosjean 1
Raikkonen drove well from 9th on the grid and finished with fastest lap. A good race, but let's not pretend its in the same category as Perez, Alonso or even Senna. Grosjean's sole contribution to the race before beaching himself was to clout Schumacher. He's got pace, but he's running the risk of putting himself under pressure by not taking points in races where he's been quick.

Di Resta 7
Hulkenberg 7
Good solid points with no dramas from both Force Indias.

Kobayashi 4
Perez 10
As has been well established, Perez's drive was outstanding and he should have won. Kobayashi, I'm not sure what happened to him. He was never going to get up alongside Perez once the Mexican had made the risky but ultimately advantageous strategy call and he hadn't. But at the same time, once they were on the same tires and same fuel, you'd have expceted Kamui to at least be quick, considering Perez was the quickest out there. He did get into the top 10 and wasn't exactly slow, but he wasn't really quick either, and ultimately retired. Maybe whatever took him out (brakes, I think) had been effecting his race pace prior, but we don't know.

Ricciardo 5

Vergne drove a good race to pick up 3 points. Ricciardo, I'm not sure what happened. He was in around the points too and then dropped back. Didn't see if he need an extra pit stop, made a mistake etc. So I find it a bit hard to rate him...

Maldonado 7
Senna 9
Senna was another driver to really perform today. But for Perez's wonder-drive, we'd be talking about him quite a bit more. Maldonado didn't exactly do badly either and deserved a point, but his engine had other plans.

Kovalainen 5
Petrov 6
Pretty difficult to assess these two. I'll give Kova an average mark (5), and Petrov one extra for finishing ahead of him.

De La Rosa 4
Karthikeyan 2

Karthikeyan's brief sojourn to 10th was exciting, but otherwise he was a mobile chicane (yeah, maybe Vettel & Button could've done better to avoid him, and Button's was for position, but he seemed to be generally getting in the way a bit). De La Rosa barely registered on my radar apart from getting a drive through, for which I dock him a point from an average 5.

Glock 6

I'm fairly sure I saw Pic in the top 10 briefly between the pit stops, but other than that both Marussias were where I expected them to be. At the back. Glock did get himself ahead of Kovalainen though, so he'll get an extra point for that.

My DVD recorder decided to quit after lap 45 so this is all relating up to that point:

Vettel: 5 - Was never a factor once the race started from the red flag.
Webber: 6 - Well, he got fourth, I'll grant him that. Otherwise wasn't that impressive.

Button: 0 - Yes, Zero. The crash with Karthikeyan was completely avoidable, especially considering this is a person who is at a high calibre. Spent the rest of the day pootling around the back of the grid. Unimpressive to say the least.
Hamilton: 6 - Would have won if his team made better pitstops. That said, a solid drive.

Alonso: 10 - Brilliant race in probably the most ungainly looking car on the grid.
Massa: 2 - Scrap with Button aside finishing in 15th while your teammate demolishes the race isn't the best way to gain respect at Ferrari.

Schumacher: 7 - Rather anonymous the entire race after the contact with Grosjean.
Rosberg: 5 - Never put up much of a fight though if he did have a KERS issue as Speed were reporting then that might be a reason why he was such a pushover.

Räikkonen: 7 - It's a matter of time before he wins a race this season. Needs to work on qualifying though.
Grosjean: 3 - I belive Grosjean can also win a race this year but he needs to work on racecraft. The incident with Schumacher was unnecessary and cost both valuable points.

Di Resta: 7 - Solid drive from the Scot.
Hülkenberg: 5 - Anonymous, but solid drive. Concerning both Force Indias, I think their main target this year is Williams, and I think they're just barely beating them.

Kobayashi: 3 - Granted he made a brilliant pass but that doesn't change the fact that Perez was the better of the two drivers the entire weekend.
Perez: 10 - I did not see that coming at all. Great job for Perez and I think in 2013 he will be the man to replace Massa.

Ricciardo: 5 - Could've been a points contender. Wasn't. Maybe China will fare better.
Vergne: 7 - Good race for the rookie Frenchman. Racing the first stint (before the red flag) of the race on inters might have been a bit bonkers but it payed out.

Maldonado: 4 - Absolutely nowhere during the race that I saw.
Senna: 6 - Got some points for Williams but nowhere in the race before the red flag.

Kovalainen: 4 - Petrov is the better of the two drivers at Caterham at the moment I think.
Petrov: 7 - Pulling away from a Ferrari (granted, it's Massa in a shoebox) in a substandard car is no easy feat. Probably the stronger of the two Caterham drivers at this point in time.

de la Rosa: 5 - Decent race but was thwarted by a bunch of morons that make up his team.
Karthikeyan: 8 - Wasn't expecting him to be in the points; shame that Button used his car as a battering ram against him.

Glock: 7 - I think his performance is flattering the car a bit but finishing ahead of a Caterham on merit is great.
Pic: 6 - Good drive; showing up in 5th was a nice surprise but it was obvious he was never going to finish there.

Vettel - 7: Solid drive, unlucky with the puncture which I wouldn't say is really his fault.
Webber - 7: Basically Vettel minus the puncture.

Button - 6: Seemed to be a smidgen faster than Hamilton until the contact with Karthikeyan, but I think there must've been further damage on the car. Lucky that his main title rivals didn't maximise the opportunity.
Hamilton - 6: Should've won (again) and didn't (again). Unlucky with the pitstop mistakes but should've really had this race sewn up after Button lost his wing

Alonso - 10: Now I think we can safely call Alonso one of the true all-time greats. What a drive.
Massa - 1: What is the point in him even being there anymore?

Schumacher - 7: The Mercedes seems to be good over a single lap but its race pace is awful. Schumacher was unfortuante to be spun by Grosjean but I think he made a good recovery.
Rosberg - 5: Outclassed by Schumacher again.

Raikkonen - 8: A solid drive, mixing it with the Red Bulls. Just has to get qualifying sorted out
Grosjean - 3: A demon start quickly undone by driver error. He needs to calm down and get the car to the finish.

Di Resta - 7: A solid but unspectactular race.
Hulkenberg - 6: Basically the same as di Resta, but slightly slower.

Kobayashi - 7: A good performance, brilliantly passing Schumacher, and I think he would've had a shout at 6th or 7th had he not retired. Not really sure though, the BBC was kind of fuzzy on him after he passed Schumacher
Perez - 10: That was the drive of a champion. Surely has to be on the shortlist of a few team bosses now.

Ricciardo - 6: Ehhhh. Not sure what happened to him, but he was behind Vergne all race, so if there was a problem, I don't think he would've beaten Vergne without it.
Vergne - 7: A solid drive after the disappointment of not scoring in Australia.

Maldonado - 7: Unlucky not to score again.
Senna - 9: His first genuinely good race, I'd say. It'll be interesting to see the inter-team battle between him and Maldonado

Kovalainen - 4: Not bad, but not great. Beaten by Glock, which is not a good sign.
Petrov - 7: Was faster than Kovalainen all weekend. Seems to be making the most of a bad situation.

de la Rosa - 5: Fairly anonymous.
Karthikeyan - 1: Nice to see him out of position and up to I think 6th at one stage, but really, should not be making as much of a nuisance of himself as he is. The contact with Button was forgiveable as a driver error, but the contact with Vettel was not - he was a lap down and had just made a mistake, and could've backed off slightly. If I was in the FIA, I'd be making a push to review his superlicense.

Glock - 5: Didn't really see much of him all race

Sebastian Vettel - 5 - Not his best weekend, and should have avoided Karthikeyan.
Mark Webber - 7 - Kept his car on the road, and finished ahead of Vettel. Steady but not spectacular.

Jenson Button - 3 - Probably the worst i've seen him drive since 2008. Oh how things would have changed had he not been too impatient like Vettel.
Lewis Hamilton - 7 - Drove quietly to another podium, didn't set the world alight.

Fernando Alonso - 10 - An Alonso-esque performance. He really is one of the very best.
Felipe Massa - 1 - I thought he was dire in Australia, but this is just taking the piss now.

Michael Schumacher - 5 - Couldn't convert 3rd on the grid, lucky to score a point.
Nico Rosberg - 5 - The most anonymous man out there.

Kimi Raikkonen - 8 - Nice drive to 5th place, adapting back to F1 very quickly.
Romain Grosjean - 3 - Needs to keep the car on the road.

Paul Di Resta - 7 - Stayed out of trouble, and scored some well deserved points.
Nico Hulkenberg - 7 - Same as Di Resta.

Kamui Kobayashi - 4 - Didn't see much of him other than a few drivers passing him.
Sergio Perez - 9 - One mistake prevented this from being a 10. Almost won the race.

Daniel Ricciardo - 6 - Looked decent at times, not sure what happened though.
Jean-Eric Vergne - 8 - Impressive performance from him, thoroughly deserved those points.

Pastor Maldonado - 7 - Should have scored points, once again a nearlyman.
Bruno Senna - 9 - I'll admit, i've never rated this guy. But that was a fantastic performance.

Heikki Kovalainen - 5 - Faded into obscurity, and finished behind Glock.
Vitaly Petrov - 7 - Done well to finish ahead of Kovy, kept with the lower midfield.

Pedro de la Rosa - 5 - Wasn't his day today.
Narain Karthikeyan - 5 - Being in the points for a couple of laps was good, but was otherwise a mobile chicane.

Timo Glock - 7 - Beat Kovalainen in the Caterham. Impressive to say the least.

Ricciardo - 6 - had his ups and downs during the race
Vergne - 7 - played for the red flag in the beginning which I don't like, but turned out to be a smart move. After that he was decent enough to keep himself in the points

Maldonado - 6 - deserved a point
Senna - 8 - Probably the first time anyone has to mention the great race and the name Senna in one sentence since 1993 (counting F1 only) - sensational

Kovalainen - 5 - he has to realise that he's in a real intra-team battle, again, otherwise last year will be cancelled out soon
Petrov - 7 - starting the show that Caterham made a really good decision (not talking about the manner, of course)

Vettel - 7. Invisible for the most part, though he did outrace Webber again (until the puncture, which was 100% Narain's fault). Cucumber comment would've normally cost him points, but he was right.

Button - 6. Contact w/ Karthikeyan was his fault, but he had a good recovery race, finishing just behind Rosberg and beating Massa.
Hamilton - 7. See Vettel and Webber. Pit lost him the race though.

Alonso - 8. I really don't think what he did in the race was overly impressive. The Ferrari is actually very strong with a full fuel tank, and Alonso was lucky to take the lead early on.
Massa - 3. Another horrible weekend, but as somebody pointed out, there might have been problems with his car. In a straight line, Petrov was getting 20 km/h more out of the car than him. The difference is far too big.

Schumacher - 7. Was unlucky to have GGGRRRSSSJJJNNN hit him early on, but even then I doubt he would've done much better. P5 maybe?
Rosberg - 2. Shocking. Schumacher beat him despite the early collision, and even Button nearly caught him. And the Merc is supposed to be far better than a Massa-driven Ferrari. RotR

Räikkonen - 9. Good race, fastest lap. Doubt there's anything more he could've done.
Grosjean - 3. That's right, blame Michael for your foolishness.

Thank you for all the ratings, 29 people participated in Round 2, so this is getting more and more popular.

As you'd expect, it was neck and neck between Sergio Perez and Fernando Alonso for the win. Checo had his reject-advantage for the last time here, but he didn't need it, scored 0,04 points higher, and not only won the race, but also took the lead in the championship. Alonso is a close second, while the other two podium finishers from Australia had dreadful weekends, finishing 20th and 22nd. Bruno Senna took the remaining place on the podium quite confidently, big time success for him after a weak start in R1. Räikkönen, Hamilton, and Webber are the others apart from the two leaders who have scored at both races. Vitaly Petrov scored Caterham's first point - ironically, he only lost out to Hülkenberg on their respective reject status. Glock had a strong race, too, but he failed to score with his 11th place. Outside the points, Michael Schumacher lost again a position for being as far from reject status, as anyone can. There was an interesting battle for 15th; Karthikeyan, whose points ranged the most, just managed to beat Vettel who apparently didn't take this very well. As for Felipe Massa, he's consistent alright.
