You can make a team before Malaysia, I think. Anyway,

Fantasy Racers 2012: Australian GP Update

The Good
Top scorer: Iamslightlybored (eurobrun) - 674 points
IIDOTR: Iamslightlybored (eurobrun) - He was in the top 1000, the only member of our league to make it there.
Top 3 Overall:
1. Iamslightlybored (eurobrun) - 674 points
2. Merlin Va Va Voom (???) - 664 points
3. Super Bock-UMM (DanielPT) - 664 points (had the exact same driver combo as Merlin)

The Bad

Lowest Scorer: Wily's Minions (tristan1117) - 298 points
ROTR: Wily's Minions (tristan1117) - finished in dead last
Bottom 3:
6. Zastava GP (This) - 466 points
7. Group Lotus (Dany Bahar??) - 372 points
8. Wily's Minions (tristan1117) - 298 points

I couldn't find us in the personal league table. I think we're way down, though.

Fantasy Racers 2012: Malaysian GP Update

The Good
Top scorer: JordanMercedesBridgestone (Jordan Allen?) - 603 points
IIDOTR: JordanMercedesBridgestone (Jordan Allen?) - Considering that this was his first race, he should get the award because everyone else actually scored lower than last week (except me, but it was a miniscule margin)!
Top 3 Overall:
1. Iamslightlybored (eurobrun) - 1124 points (562 ppr)
2. Super Bock-UMM (DanielPT) - 1012 points (506 ppr)
3. ZimSport (TML) - 1011 points (505 ppr)

The Bad

Lowest Scorer: Scuderia Mecha powered by TRE (FMecha) - 182 points
ROTR: Merlin Va Va Voom (????) - 11th of the round while second overall
Bottom 3 Overall:
10. Jordan Mercedes Bridgestone (Jordan Allen) - 603 points (603 ppr)
11. Marussian Marauders (AndreaModa) - 391 points (391 ppr)
12. Scuderia Mecha powered by TRE (FMecha) - 182 points (182 ppr)
(All three teams have only competed in one round)
Bottom 3 Adjusted:
10. Wily's Minions (tristan1117) - 329.5 ppr
11. Group Lotus (Dany Bahar??) - 317.5 pppr
12. Scuderia Mecha powered by TRE (FMecha) - 182 ppr

Fantasy Racers 2012: Chinese GP Update

The Good
Top scorer: Melrose Racing Team (Wizzie) - 721 points
IIDOTR: Welsh Seahawks (???) - finished second in the round after falling way back after Malaysia
Top 3 Overall:

2. Iamslightlybored (eurobrun) - 1632 points (544 ppr)
3. Welsh Seahawks (???) - 1011 points (490 ppr)

The Bad

Lowest Scorer: Scuderia Mecha powered by TRE (FMecha) - 332 points
ROTR: Jordan Mercedes Bridgestone (Jordan) - Everyone did pretty well in this round so I gave it to him because he had the biggest drop off from last week.

Bottom 3 Adjusted:
10. Jordan Mercedes Bridgestone (Jordan) - 499.5 ppr
11. Marussian Marauders (J. Clarke) - 420.5 pppr
12. Scuderia Mecha powered by TRE (FMecha) - 257 ppr

From now on, ROTR and IIDOTR will be calculated the old way.

I have played a lot of F1 games and though it would be a great chance to actually be familiar with Fantasy Racing and management, I am not quite sure a lot of people would be up for that.

Raving about the idea of actually using Luca Badoer and seeing how the whole thing would actually help them. But with Massa seeming to be not in fighting form currently, it would not be surprising to see him falter down.

So after Valencia, Jordan is back above me in 10th, but amazingly despite both of us missing the Australian round, we're closing in fast on the rest of the field, only 200 points or so off the back of DanielPT's team and the rest! :D

If anyone really cares anymore, Wizzie and TML are separated by just 30 points heading into the final two races of the season after TML outscored Wizzie by 242 points in Abu Dhabi to level the score.

In the end, it was not so close. Wizzie crushed TML in Austin, handing Wizzie the crown by 374 points. The Welsh Seahawks rounded out the podium in third. Hilariously, I think Jordan Mercedes Bridgestone produced the highest score of the year in Brazil with 755 points, vaulting him up to fifth place (after he started the year hanging around in tenth and eleventh).

Next year, we need to advertise this more.

I'm pretty happy with 10th, considering I missed the first race, and I barely changed my drivers all year, which were Raikkonen, Grosjean, Rosberg and Maldonado. Not the best line-up I'll admit!
