Bathplug, AdrianSutil has finally caught me. It'll be a matter of hours now

Indeed. This post now puts me exactly level with you. As I now enter my 'few hours of forum browsing when I'm at work so not actually doing much work' phase, by the time you read this I'll certainly be ahead
I reckon you'll fight back though

Remember this is not just a 2-way battle
Although it must be said that i registered way earlier.
I have taken for posterity a photo to demonstrate how close it is for you three at this moment in time:

Or that silly finish in the last race of Driven.
Or even at the end of the first race seen in the Cars film...

I am going to the party I mentioined earlier and unfortunately I will spend too much time wondering what has been posted.
Dude, sorry if I'm getting into your life, but don't do it. Enjoy the party. Seriously, there have been times I've read certain comments that really scared me and even made me wonder if I should get out of this forum before it's too late (well, in fact I've been posting a lot less as of late, but that's because I've been busier too).
And Wizzie, would you care to explain us why you aren't spending more time with your girlfriend/study buddy/whatever she is, so I can catch you again?

+1
Really, I only post this much because I use it as small pauses in my work when I am either bored or stuck in some problem. I rarely post outside work and really don't think a lot about the forum then. Yes, it is heresy I know.

I'm only posting as much as I am at the moment because I'm currently off sixth form for Easter. From next week bam, both AdrianSutil and This will motor ahead as I up my revision for my 6 AS-level exams in May, thus reducing the time I can be on here...

I sort of inadvertently took your advice. The party was good enough and I didn't really think about this forum. As much as I didn't really want to go I am happy that I did.

I browse the forum for maybe 5 minutes during the day. It's only when I'm at work that the main posting happens. I'm there for 8 and a half hours, 6 nights a week. Most nights we only do about 4-5 hours work. On a Sunday we do about 2
That's probably why the likes of TMLW, Wizzie and Eurobrun post around the same time when I do.

I spent the best part of 2 hours last night on the phone to her. What more do you people want?

Where do you work? A petrol station? A 24 hour supermarket? McDonalds?

See her? Be with her? Besides, you are a newbie. My current record stands on nearly 6 hours on the phone with a girl. Why? Because we lived in different countries so it was kind of hard to see her.

Indeed they are. I couldn't spend hours on a phone.
Same, I can't manage more than about an hour at most!
Typical conversation between me and the girlfriend:
"Hello" "Alrite" "Hows your day been?" "fine. Yours?" "yeah. Not bad." "good. Am I seeing you later?" "yes/no (delete as applicable)" "alrite. I'll text ya later" "ok bye. Love you" "love you too"
End.

Well we spend most of the day texting instead when I'm not asleep. Never been one for long phone conversations...

Yeah, damn kids! I'm 19, so you be the judge of whether that's hypocritical.

You barely escape. I am thinking 15 years old. That supposed talk is perhaps exaggeration, but my sister was 15 years old two years ago and told similar stories...

Facebook was only created a few months after my first graduation (when I was 23). I got my first mobile phone when I was 17, in 6th form. I hate Facebook - it was peer pressure that made me get it. I will probably delete my account upon my second graduation... Mobiles? It means work can phone you directly any time of day, even when you are on holiday. I had to threaten work not to phone me when I was on holiday, because I often go abroad or I would have no way of recording what they were telling me. Otherwise mobile phones are useful for organising a social life.
And using either for dating? I would not know...
