There's still time to set up your own business. Maybe your USP would be to cater for the female market? It could work...
The biggest stumbling block would be copyrights for using names and logos. Another one I made was a very cool skinny Senninha one by scanning in a picture from a magazine, where only a few people in the UK knew what Senninha was. God knows how I'd manage to put that into production.
