I wonder if the HRT Online Store will become active during the race weekend. This could be a big weekend for the team; That's "For Sure".

And another small sponsor for the team. It starts to look a little bit promising...

And it's one of the three that was rumored to sign a sponsorship deal with HRT, so it looks promising.
Hopefully the other two will be true as well :D

They are definately true, people knew because they were on the wall in one of the pictures with Jean Todt at the new factory.

Apparently there is another major sponsor rumoured to be anounced just before Barcelona, a drinks company of some kind (probably Spanish beer of some description)...

Me neither! It's only a short subway trip for me! In fact, last Sunday I was in the Caja Mágica for the Mutua Madrid Open and of course took the opportunity of taking a picture of me in front of HRT headquarters. I'll upload it here soon for you to enjoy :D

On a side note, I have to say the exteriors are a bit dirty and they even have one of the exterior panes of glass broken, which I find ironic considering their latest sponsorship agreement

I wonder if the team are preparing the ground for a rebranding exercise along the lines of Marussia's deal with the team formally known as Virgin Racing, given the rumours that the team intend to announce a major new sponsor ahead of the Spanish GP? Or perhaps something closer to the deal that Data General had with Tyrrell for a while, where the chassis designation was modified to reflect their position as title sponsor (the DG016)?

I don't think is that clever to refer to a Spanish joke that no one here apart from Aerond and me will understand

That was the point! Well, no, the point is, the team, as well as the joke I was referring to, are Spanish. So there, sue me.

He has some sponsors, but I don't think they'll get on the car, only on his overalls and helmet if anywhere. One of his sponsors is a BMW and Mini dealership in Barcelona, don't see their stickers being alongside Tata's somehow.

Maybe Dani Clos will get his sponsors on the car - there have been suggestions today that Karthikeyan doesn't have the budget to complete the season, so HRT would rather get Clos in, or someone else with a decent amount of money.

I dont follow GP2, bit hard as not shown down under (that I know of)

but has Dani Clos got potential? Or is he there due to his potential backing and nationality?
Miserable Thierry (Boutsen) staggers round mostly on ten cylinders (out of 12) with no clutch, low oil pressure, bad brakes and no grip to finish tenth, 3 laps down...

Thats a point these days!

It's no secret he has a bit of decent backing, but he's not a bad driver really. He's been mentioned in F1 for a year or two now so it's no surprise to see him in the car.

His career has been stagnant after a few years. He managed to finish 4th in the 2010 GP2 series and win a race in the process but after that things have been a bit weak. Before that he did a few races in FR3.5 and race in the F3 Euroseries together with Grrrjjjjnnnnnn and The Hulk. We last won a championship in the FR2.0 Italian series where in the same year a guy called Jaime Alguersuari took part finish 10th... Anyway, he has some potential yes, but I am afraid he is not showing it right now and is only there because of the money and nationality.

I quite like the slightly revised livery, looks more interesting and 'busy' than before. Also if anyone hasn't noticed, the Cristalbox logos are on the HRT's mirrors, though I haven't spotted the other new sponsors logos yet.
