Yes, I know. I'm not sure whether I should swap out the performance files for the drivers or just rename them like I used to do. Australia 1995 was the first test of the performance swap thing and I'd say it worked rather well. Previously, I was forced to rename the drivers because I can only access my PC on weekends but now that school is almost over I can probably edit the game whenever I feel like.

Also, since we often make some ROTR images or video highlights, I think we should support custom helmets.

And Tom Douglas puts the Ferrari on pole! That's the first non-Williams/Benetton pole position in the entire history of the series! It is also Tom Douglas' first pole position, although he does have one career victory at the 1994 Brazilian GP. Pippa Mann outqualified her teammate in her Williams debut. Takagi survived a slow time on Friday and will start fifth. Douglas Mann demolished Reiko Megumi once again. The Pacifics and Fortis are all terrible with DAMS slightly ahead. If there was a 107% rule, McFry and the Pacific would not have started.

Niko Nurminen wrote:No comment.
Iltalehti (translated from Finnish) wrote:Nurminen suspected for an assault
Niko Nurminen, currently driving for DAMS at the F1RGP2C, has been placed on the list of suspects on a case of assault which took place in Melbourne hours after the first GP of the season was held there. Nurminen, who was reportedly extremely disappointed at his result in the race (where he finished last), went on to have a very drunken night at a bar with a few friends after the GP. Being extremely drunk, he eventually left the bar where he had been with his friends and went missing, and was not heard from until the next morning when he checked into his hotel.
A Melbourne police source confirmed that Nurminen is on the list of suspects, and also presented us with more detailed information. "While the victim was unable to see the assailant, as the attack happened from behind, he did hear the words "perkele" and "saatana" uttered by the attacker. This indicates that the culprit is Finnish, which combined to the fact that Nurminen went missing near the area just before the attack took place has made him a suspect. Nurminen himself was also unavailable to provide himself with an alibi, citing a case of amnesia, no doubt caused by his alcohol usage, as the cause. However, because there currently is very little evidence, we are still investigating all of the leads and interrogating other Finns who were in the are as well."
Iltalehti was unable to reach Nurminen or the DAMS management regarding the matter.
