might i remind you that none less than Gio Van Dycke is probably available too for 2015 (unless his team somehow wants to keep him) and offers you lots of Cillit Bang! sponsorship.

F1RWRS drivers are rarely photographed, but here I have an image of said driver;

I still can't believe Shizuka stepped out of the car after three rounds. They might have actually stood a chance of making it into qualifying proper if he didn't, with a bit a luck of course.
And Mr McClean should have stuck Mignolet in the 2nd ArrowTech car instead of letting him go IMO, if only to save Mignolet from the curse of the 2nd DGN seat.

No.
Never. This car never had any chance.

ANDREA ACURI BUYS RIGHTS TO THE NAME "ARROWTECH"
The F1RWRS Commission has received communication from the Acuri team that his owner, Andrea Acuri, has bought the rights of use of the Arrowtech name. It could be seen as a last effort by Andrea Acuri of trying to save his team from closure by racing under the name of a more known brand. It's also known from other sources that Acuri is negotiating with some Arrowtech technical personnel to sign for Acuri. All this leaves the future of the Arrowtech team surrounded in a cloud of uncertainty

SIMPSON TO RACE FOR ALITALIA IN LAST ROUND OF SEASON
As expected, Darren Older Jr has been ditched by Scuderia Alitalia for the final round of the season, to give the team a chance of qualifying. The problem here being that the team had already used more drivers than their limit, and only two very unlikely drivers were left, Giovanni Roda and Dave Simpson. Simpson agreed to race for the team, as rumour has it, because the contract termination fee from Simpson leaving after two races will be abolished, and also from strong persuasion from other drivers who didn't want to see Giovanni Roda back behind the wheel of an F1RWRS car.
This is a cool spot.

WE'RE SAVED! Now we can really have a crack at 3rd place in the pre-quali cup

Aerond, what are all the options available to us in terms of performance upgrades for the chassis only?
La Gazzetta Dello Sport wrote:Lindsay "thankful" to Simpson
Alasdair Lindsay has given a surprising warm welcome to former driver Dave Simpson, who has been confirmed as replacing Darren Older Jr for the final round of the F1RWRS season in Japan.
"Simpson and the team ended his previous contract on amicable terms, so there was no issue in terms of feelings stopping this deal from happening," said team principal Lindsay. "He has had a couple of one-off drives since leaving us, but had nothing in place for the weekend of the Japanese GP, and we felt the need for an fast and experienced driver to help us in a final push for third in the Pre-Qualifying cup. The deal made sense for both of us, so negotiations were swift and positive. I'm thankful he was so open to a return for us despite his previous reasons for leaving the team, it will help us immensely next weekend."
"David [Koczo] has been superb in qualifying all year, and Dave is also very competent in this regard, although I think even he would admit his strongest suit is his race pace. If there is high attrition, and we qualify for the race, we can definitely be in the hunt for sneaking a point at the end of the season, which would be great. I'm looking forward to the race, and hopefully the new technical package for 2015 helps us move up the grid further."
"But for now, this is still 2014, and we're just hoping to wrap up the season with our best ever result."

Despite conflicting reports, The Fox has bought out Acuri Autosport and will race as "ArrowTech-Acuri Autosport" for the 2015 season. "Our team has lost some support for no apparent reason whatsoever. I was in talks with Andrea since Macau, and we agreed that this was the best option." The team will reportely use Acuri's chassis as the basis for the 2015 season but is currently undecided on the engine.
What I am actually doing is, I am closing "ArrowTech," keeping "Acuri" and all it's chassis, engines, etc, and renaming the team "ArrowTech" to retain all records, stats, history, etc.
Also, Sebastian Groves will not do double duty in the F1RWRS and will be the test driver for ArrowTech-Acuri.

In which case, for clarification, the constructor will remain as 'ArrowTech', with the team name changing to ArrowTech-Acuri.
Re: F1RWRS -- 2014 - Onwards
Alright, people - since taking Darren Older Jr. back before next season without anyone losing dignity would involve having to ask kostas22 whether he would accept rewriting the story to Older Jr. asking for allowance to return to Tropico in their time of need at the request of the German council and I am, for some reason, not willing to do that, I offer you a great chance - have a driver which you want to use but he or she is not able to get a Reject License and you do not wish (or are not able to) put them in your own car? Well, you're lucky: one race seat at Tropico is available for Fuji!
Any pay driver who has not yet appeared in F1RWRS may take the seat, no questions asked. And for the cheap price of 25 credits, you can even give a standard driver a Reject License (obviously this only applies if you have a F1RWRS team which can pay the team those credits). Drivers under the age of 20 at the end of 2014 needn't apply though.
Meanwhile, time for some new season preparations:
For the record - this means that the second seat will be taken by Darren Older Jr. with the first seat still open.

Last but not least the reactions to the race weekend:

Sport Bild wrote:The Plans Of Tropico REVEALED!
An insider at Tropico Grand Prix powered by CR Motorsport supplied us with documents which reveal how Tropico's plans for the 2015 season looked like and are looking now. The biggest surprise is that, according to these documents, contact with Mercedes-Benz was made for works support. Norbert Haug denied those comments though, saying that there has been no contact with any teams. However, he stated that the F1RWRS is an "interesting series". With major rivals BMW and Audi already in the series one must ask whether there already is a contract for the next season.
On the driver's side, the first plans involved F2RWRS driver Alberto Cara making the jump to the big leauges together with Leonhard Von Gottorp staying at the team. However, the latter's death and Cara remaining in F2RWRS made those plans come undone. This will most likely mean that one of the planned test drivers - Renaldo Jiménez or Darren Older Jr., the latter was to be signed to appease the team's staff - will be entered into the car. For the second seat the team is now looking for a major driver. An offer for Rosco Vantini was made public and behind the scenes there were offers to Daniel Melrose, Kay Lon and James Davies.
On a minor note, Argentinian Vanina Greloni Borello will become the team's technical director from 2015 onwards, therefore becoming the first female technical director in F1RWRS*. Borello worked with Cara in his Fórmula Interprovencial days and was heartly recommended by him. Tropico News Today editor-in-chief Máximo Bone Domínguez will be appointed as the team's marketing director from the 1 January of the upcoming year..
For the record - this means that the second seat will be taken by Darren Older Jr. with the first seat still open.

Last but not least the reactions to the race weekend:
Kay Lon wrote:Well, another race with a point finish which is, after the struggles of the first half of this year, an acceptable result. While this is rare for me, I screwed up qualifying badly - if not for my mistake I would have been on the second or even first row - and on this awful track it is impossible to overtake, making a comeback difficult. Due to me giving up the position, the team was able to get a brilliant result. Now we go to Japan where I will do my very best in my final outing for Sunshine and after that I must work with Prospec to remind a certain little parasite in the upcoming years that his daddy may have bought him two world titles but there are - many - better drivers on the grid than him, of course including me, the Best In The World at what I do.
Du Lei wrote:I hope I did not disappoint Kay and Mr. Cameron too much...
El Presidente wrote:Today is a sad day, not only for a racing team, not only for a sport, not only for Tropico but for the entire world! Our German hero Leonhard Von Gottorp became a victim of the ever-lasting struggle against the American bloodhounds and sacrificed his body for the glory of Tropico. It has been an honour to know him and I salute him one final time as one of the greatest heroes the world ever saw. His sacrifice will not be in vain for we, Tropico, shall crush the capitalist pigs at the top of F1RWRS next year.

DGNgineering has a major japanese sponsor (Korg), and, having in count the drivers championship is decided, we can take the risk of giving Shioya his F1RWRS debut at his home GP, it´s also a kind of prize to him for winning one F2RWRS race this season.

La Gazzetta Dello Sport wrote:Scuderia Alitalia revises F1RWRS testing roster
Scuderia Alitalia has been forced to switch plans for the 2015 season, with their test driver lineup being changed to accomodate for some events out of their control.
Nobushige Fukuda had previously been nominated as the first choice test and reserve, but with a full season of Rejects of LFS next year with Grands Travaux Inulties, date clashes mean he will not be availabe on all weekends. This however was only the minor issue; the much bigger one is being refused a Reject License by the F1RWRSC. This means he can't participate in a race weekend if either driver must step aside for some reason.
There was one contract signed a long time ago, before even the half-way point of the season. It appears everyone has forgotten about it, and not surprising given the so-so reputation of the driver, but, nonetheless, after signing a pre-contract agreement in May, Alitalia have redeemed the card of Miko Fakkinen, who used to be an academy driver for Il Barone Rampante CEO Alasdair Lindsay's former group Virgin Inter Corse. With a reject license in place and a season of racing experience under his belt - albeit only as far as Saturdays - he will become the new first choice reserve driver.
Another arguably more important addition is of new Alitalia F2RWRS driver Andrej Kremnicky, the prodigious Slovak driver who has three wins in six F2RWRS this year. It is not known how many times he will be seen in the car in 2015, but perhaps we can get a glimpse of this future talent in what will likely be his next destination.
Kremnicky's F2RWRS team-mate Bastiaan van Nieuwenhijzen will remain on the testing roster as a development driver.

As the RoLFS organizer, I feel that it is important that drivers who take part there have good chances of advancing in their careers later on. Therefore I'd like to ask all prospective team bosses to ask The Lukas what plans, if any, he has stored for Alexey Buyvolov. He finished 5th overall in last year's RoLFS, just enough to earn him a Reject Superlicense, yet nothing has been heard of him since the season ended. While obviously I can't influence the decision-making in any way due to not having control of the driver, I can always try to give a slight "nudge".

Whilst her qualifying form in 2014 has thus far been poor, her race pace has been nothing short of exceptional. With champion teammate Mitchell Macklin signed up with Simpson Motorsport's new F1RWRS team and runner-up candidate Rosco Vantini looking for a drive at ArrowTech, Simon is looking to join her peers in the series. Whilst neither Simon or Shonan boss Hagane Shizuka were available for comment, rumours are starting to emerge of ARC also looking into hiring the Frenchwoman's services
Basically, what I'm doing is giving Shizuka a chance at 75 free credits and helping her career out in the process as, out of all the top F2RWRS drivers, her career's the only one that seems to have stalled. Be warned however she'll have to miss the first three races of next year for her role in the Hamilton shunt but that's already covered under the regulations so there's no fear of penalties there.

I was going to give her a drive at CJR in the F2RWRS for 2015, but gave up when I got no response to the offer. She's DanielPT's driver isn't she?

As reported in La Gazetta Dello Sport recently, Scuderia Alitalia team principal Alasdair Lindsay is hopeful that the return of Dave Simpson to his team for a one off race will increase the team's chance of getting out of prequalifying, something that has alluded the team since the signing of Darren Older Jr. However, Simpson has been quoted in saying that Lindsay "should not assume that we'll be getting out of prequalifying so easily, it's been a while since I've driven at Suzuka and it will take some time to readjust to driving the TA-14". Despite these comments from Simpson, it is expected that the team will get into the main session, following the closest team on pace, Prospec's decision to sign rookie Du Lei for the final two races.
Effectively Alitalia will have a very hard time Pre-Qualifying if Simpson drives at Suzuka because the F1RWRS will happen at Fuji

Tread lightly in ARWS. Every decision might be your last.

That is correct. Simon's about as good a race as Kremnicky or Jason when he's not too busy crashing into anything and better than the eventual champion Macklin. Problem is she usually ends up qualifying in the lower midfield which means more often than not she gets herself into trouble. Usually when Tommy Nash decides that crashing into her is a good idea. And no, I'm not insinuating anything. The hell gave you that idea?

I didn't notice that before, now I'm laughing.

Also, is anyone willing to do my teams livery, I don't have the time or skill to do it myself.

Might need to read the season calendar instead of assuming which track the race will be held at...

I presume you mean for the 2015 season, in which case I'd have no problem doing it if you want. What sort of design did you want? (bearing in mind the limitations of the GP2 template!)
