Pastor Maldonado and Andrea de Cesaris at McLaren (with Takuma Sato as reserve driver)

On the subject of virtual drivers, I really want to see John Zimmer and Daniel Moreno paired up at some point in the F1RGP2C. It might be epic.

Prince Walik and Douglas Mann.

1996 could also possibly be the last year of Prince Walik depending on what happens with the 1997 silly season.

Virtual Lineups now?
Mark Dagnall and Nathanel Spencer in his prime.

As for real-life lineups, how about:
Montoya and Maldonado
Di Grassi and d'Ambrosio (or however you spell it)
Glock and Kubica
Michael Schumacher and Hamilton
Michael Schumacher and Ralf Schumacher
Michael Schumacher and Damon Hill!

It would be great a Di Grassi / D'Ambrosio pairing at Marussia, with Charles Pic as third driver.

Joel Melrose and Tanner Jason. They could destory an entire field of cars working together
Alasdair Lindsay (coming out of retirement) and Sammy Jones. It would be Senna/Prost all over again

Oh man I'd love that immensely, just for the arguments and the wars of words! We should organise some sort of all-stars race with the more senior drivers all competing together - a bit like Formula Masters or whatever it was!

Andrea Chiesa and Enrico Chiesa? One would be immensely slow. An interesting footnote for him, his first coaching job lasted less than a month - not because he was sacked, but because the team he was managing became insolvent and was kicked out of league football by FIGC. Sounds like the kind of thing that would happen to anything Andrea Sassetti laid his hands on

That story reminded me a little of when Kettering chairman Imraan Ladak decided the best man to be manager was...Paul Gascoigne. He lasted something like 39 days...

Only someone as mental as Sassetti could ever hire Gascoigne in a senior position.
