Lap 40 : Brundles Ford-Engine quits his work
Lap 45 : Three DNF´s in a row - seems not to be the year of 2-times-world-champion Alain Prost - He looses his 4th Place this time

Lap 52 : Not a Minardi-day : Barbazza (running 9th) stopped his car

Lap 63 : We haven´t recognized ... but Nigel Mansell is on an enourmous speed now! He has closed the gap to Thierry Boutsen completly and is fighting him for second place - all this is only 4.5 seconds behind Senna
Lap 64 : Coming out of the tunnel, Mansell passed Boutsen easily!
Lap 66 : Mansell is taking his heart now : He laps at least one second quicker than Senna - EVERY LAP! The Gap is at 1.7 seconds only! And there are 12 more laps!
Lap 67 : ITS REALLY A THRILLER NOW! MANSELL HUNTS SENNA AROUND THE CIRCUIT AND THE BRAZILIAN IS BLOCKING HIM ALL THE WAY! THATS FORMULA ONE 1992.... "Murray, we´ve got 1989"
Lap 71 : Senna and Mansell still in an enourmous fight! And now they are about to lap Riccardo Patrese - the current championship-leader!
Lap 76 : A little bit of trouble for Eric van de Poele : At the start-finish line, he´s lapped by Senna on the outside and Mansell on the Inside! Senna still leading!
Lap 78 : Senna starting into the last lap with a gap of 0.7 seconds - an Arrows is in front of them, but maybe he is not to be lapped anymore.... coming to Loews-Hairpin they are closing the gap to Capellis Arrows.... going into the Tunnel... maybe Mansells last chance to pass, but he is too far away, Capelli lets Senna no way to pass... he lets him pass at the pit entry... but only Senna, he blocks Mansell a little bit giving BOUTSEN THE WAY TO PASS FOR SECOND!!! It´s done, Senna wins, Boutsen 2nd, Mansell 3rd
