A postcard from Marktin Brundell
I would just like to assure you all that I am definitely not on a cruise ship, the ship is definitely not flying the Jolly Roger, we are not sailing round the Mediterranean, Chris Bowes is definitely not playing his keytar in the background and certainly did not just say "Arrrr!" in a Scottish accent, the postmark on this card is not Maltese, and that absolutely none of us have any plans to stay out here for another few days before we have to come back to windy, rainy Glasgow where Rangers will definitely not be starting the football season in the basement.
Oh, wait, that last one's actually happened, hasn't it? So much for that analogy. Pass me the factor 50, Dani... and some of that mead, and is that one of the serving wenches I see cuddling up to me? Over and out.

Eddie Gossage, the owner and manager of Texas Motor Speedway - yes, that one that hosted the infamous CART Firestone Firehawk 600 back in 2001 - has announced that placed a bid - for the TMS - to host the F1RMGP United States GP "in the near future". When interviewed, Gossage have said that if the bid was sucessful, it would be at first an experiment for "awesome racing series like F1RMGP" racing in a high banking oval course (the track's bankings is 26 degree). Gossage further added that he hoped that there would be no farce as when CART were attempting to race thre in 2001. The F1RMGP SMC (Series Management and Comission) were not available to be contacted regarding this issue, however.
Gambling mafia arrested for alleged race fixing within F1RMGP
An Italian gambling mafia group has been arrested today after they were allegedy involved in an alleged race fixing attempt within F1RMGP. The fixing scheme involved a mass giving of bribes to the race stewards. The people involved in the race fixing attempt were said to be previously related to the Scommessopoli as well as the 2009 European football gambling scandal, although some of the arrested were actually unrelated to them. The investigation is continuing.

After a long, drawn out saga, the moment we have been expecting has arrived: Luca Badoer is a Scuderia Alitalia Andrea Coloni driver. He visited the team's Parma offices this morning to sign the one year contract, where he will line up along the team's other new addition Gabriele Tarquini.
"We are very happy to have finally concluded this deal," said Lindsay. "Now if you will excuse me, I must leave for Milan. I have a discothèque to visit."

Wait. Nobody saw that last post? I suppose you all knew what was going to happen anyway.
Here's the current state of play: F1RMGP will have 21 teams in the 2015 season, three of which have not been announced yet, and one more team from the 2014 season has gone under. The rest of the drivers have fallen into place very neatly. Sixteen of the teams have cars designed with the rest to follow shortly. All this will be revealed in the new season's thread.
Expect the new season to start circa early October, as I have a few more projects to get out of the way first.

After being thrown out from F1RWRS due to the engine regulations, rumor is that Zakspeed is linked with F1RMGP.
