Aah the old Virgin Radio. I grew up on that when I was younger, I can still hear some of the old jingles in my head. Chris Evans used to do the breakfast show in the 90s and used to play
Wake Up Boo every morning, with a few changed lyrics! And Rock and Roll Football, with its "GOOOAAAALLLL!!!" cutting into every other song! Quality show!
Seeing as we're on radio stations, I also used to listen to Fox FM loads as a teenager, hence why I'm hostile to Heart FM as that was one of the stations they took over. It was Oxfordshire's local radio station, 97.4 and 102.6 FM. They used to have a requests show in the evening, presented by Debbie Ryan, that got me into all sorts of weird stuff, like this for which I still have the single!
Groove Cutters - We Close Our Eyes They used to have the 'Flying Fox' as well, a helicopter piloted by the traffic reporter that flew around the county reporting on the roads during the morning show! That was brilliant!
