Yes, the season's barely begun and Melrose is already losing the plot. Expect much wanton destruction and moments of sheer madness from hereon in

EXCLUSIVE!!!
JARI KEKKONEN EYES COMEBACK!!!
Yes, the Jari Kekkonen is eying a comeback into the F1RWRS. Rumours report that Kekkonen is returning to the league, replacing Nathanael Spencer at Boxtel. Kekkonen, who was sacked by FAT Turbo and then joined Williams F1 in Formula One, then found out, at least according to Kekkonen, that the F1RWRS was infinitely better, and that if he was to become great in motor racing, he would have to go to the F1RWRS.
A recent interview from Kekkonen let the cat out of the bag, as Kekkonen told the reporter that he "was very interested" in returning to F1RWRS. He also said that he will look at "serious offers only, as I will not look at being at a backmarker team. I think Boxtel would be a good fit, I put in my recommendation to join the team." No word from Boxtel or from Spencer about this topic was given at the publishing deadline.

And now you know why he got sacked by MRT

Boxtel Engineering wrote:Boxtel Offers Kekkonen Reserve Role
Boxtel Engineering announced today that they would be offering Jari Kekkonen a chance to become their reserve driver alongside Johannes Rueckert.
"Johannes has committed to a full season at Hydook and will have major difficulties in balancing his two roles. Bringing Jari into the team is immeasurably practical and we will benefit from his experience in the series," said Boxtel's technical director Pieter de Jong. Kekkonen must sign the contract with Boxtel for the move to become official. This latest move puts even more pressure on Nathanael Spencer who has disappointed mightily in pre-season testing.

The Press wrote:KEKKONEN SIGNS RESERVE ROLE AT BOXTEL
Jari Kekkonen is returning to the F1RWRS, as confirmed by Kekkonen himself. Jari said that although he'd prefer a seat at the team, he says that he is happy with the offer and will sign. "I think Nathanael won't be much longer at the team, everyone is in panic, when I signed everyone knew they had a good driver at their team. I am quite confident of Boxtel's potential this season, and I am confident I can get some races in this season." Nathanael Spencer was unavailable to comment.

Give me a few minutes while I figure out how this is gonna work. Technically, he'd also be barred from participating in the F1RWRS race because Macklin's race ban carried over from the F1RWRS and besides, since when did a race ban directly lead to a promotion? However, since he has a full time contract in the F2RWRS rather than the F1RWRS, he might just get away with participating in the F1RWRS.
I'd say that you put a motion in the F1RTA and see what happens.

Dave Simpson wrote:Yes, I'll agree the chassis is terrible and the team will try to improve on it throughout the season, though don't expect a miracle. Really should have balanced out the expenditure on both chassis and engine rather than stuffing a powerful engine into what seems like a skip bin on wheels. If you get too frustrated with the car, you can leave at any time you want and I'll line up a pay driver as a replacement, we cant afford any "wanton destruction and moments of sheer madness".
Kingfisher look safe in midfield scrap.
Mr.Alexander was again pleased with the Portugal pre-season, after both cars finished inside the top 20. "This is where we were aiming to be. Ashley has started to find his feet within the team and is now lapping consistently faster than David, which no offence to David, is what we expected."
Ashley, who won the very first RWRS event, was seen to smile for once after he stepped from the motorhome after day two. "It's been a struggle trying to adapt with a new team like Kingfisher. But we are starting to find a good rhythm and I'm confident we will score points this year."

NOTE: I know maybe not every team line-up may be the requested one but I took line-up data from the wiki page, and took race drivers for teams which weren´t there. Foxdale got Peter Port in the car as only two drivers allowed at Official Pre-Season Testing!

Autosport wrote:Jones: "Vantini is the man"
Following the second and final pre-season test for the F1RWRS teams, Sammy Jones announced to the media in a press conference that his team's full support would be behind Rosco Vantini for 2015. The Italian hotshot rookie, the 2014 F2RWRS runner-up, has looked very promising in the brand new Jones Racing car, the CJR-104, consistently towards the top of the field, and comfortably outpacing veteran Jones, for whom 2015 will be his 16th season in top-line motorsport competition.
"Rosco has been simply superb" exclaimed a delighted Jones, "he's gelled with the team instantly, he's a likeable character and the CJR-104 is ideally suited to him. I must admit even I was surprised with the times he was able to set in comparison to my own, but I'll make no bones about the fact that our efforts and resources are entirely behind Rosco for 2015. For me, I'm here to enjoy my racing, and when I feel that the time is right, I'll walk away from the cockpit, but right now, I still feel in great shape and I think the pair of us can take Castrol Jones Racing to the front of the grid. As a team we have a long-term plan to ensure that we maintain success on the track into the future, and this plan excites me greatly. I'm looking forward to seeing how Terry [Hawkin] will cope in the F2RWRS this year, and our junior roster continues to go from strength to strength. I've no doubt in my mind that 2015 will be another excellent year for myself and my team."
Jones refused however to be drawn on exactly when he planned to retire from driving, though many within the paddock believe he'll quit at the end of 2015, with some even suggesting it may happen before then.

Kay Lon wrote:Well, this test worked out better for us, but the way things looking we have a difficult year ahead of us. 2015 might just become the biggest challenge of my career so far, and I'd say I am so freakin' ready for it.
Gary Cameron wrote:Of course we're not especially happy with how the sessions went, we expected to be a little further up the grid than we are. Having said that, I know we have a better package than last year so I'm still confident of making a step forward. We have to keep working hard to try to understand how to improve, but I know for sure that we have two drivers who will maximise the potential of the car and work really hard to get us where we want to be. It's important not to be too negative at this stage as testing doesn't always give a clear picture of the relative performance between teams. When we get to Adelaide, we'll see where we are then and we can re-evaluate.
Nico Rosberg wrote:Break me down mentally? Good luck with that one.
Barii Mori wrote:What a fantastic session, 2nd fastest team overall. And Steele tenths of a second off the front two. This years Kamaha car will be a race winner or I will eat my underpants after the last race of the season. We have poured a lot of money into reliability so we should get those wins, esp with DGN, Sunshine and Gillet going backwards. As for Jari Kekkonen making a come back, I would like to point out that he was not sacked but was on a two race contract and he wanted to leave for Williams in that backwater known as F1.
Shinobu Katayama wrote:I am not happy with the car, the engine is so down on power compare to last season. Although James Davies is a few tenths of a seconds in front of me, it is small enough not to matter and I believe I still have better race pace although with the new engine we might be in DNPQ land before we know it. The management better spend some money on me and the car.
