Here’s a new game for fanatics! Create your own F1 calendar and there are only two rules: first is that you must select the same amount of venues as there are right now (20), secondley anything goes as long it is between 3.5km and 8km I’m interested to hear why you’ve made your selections too

I also think of the environment, try to avoid lots of travel from europe and back.

I hate the name as well. First, it implies that it was the first circuit ever to be built in the Americas. Second, the name is just so full of itself. I know they want the track to sort of "represent" the Americas like how the Hungaroring is for Hungary, but it doesn't, so they shouldn't act like it does. Finally, it's not very specific, either. The Hungaroring is clearly in Hungary, Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps is near Spa or Francorchamps, but "Circuit of the Americas" could be anywhere in the Americas. I would much prefer something like "Circuit of Austin", "Austin Park", etc..

I think 15-16 races is enough in any one season, particularly if mid-season testing makes a return. My 16th race would be Moscow, pending how the races there turn out, or else Turkey (Istanbul, not Constantinople). But where would be a logical place in the above calendar, taking travel routes and costs into account? Immediately after Hungary?

Not fussed about the order, but this would be interesting, and with a race on every continent. The Middle East gets cut (goodbye Sakhir and Yas Marina), but we gain races in South Africa, Turkey, Slovakia, Netherlands, France, Portugal, Mexico and Argentina.
