McLaren seem to be a bit like Red Bull in 2009 at this stage - they now have the fastest car, but their two drivers are taking it in turns to score the big points and there's no one single assault on the runaway leader, who can just win it with low places through to the end fo the season.

True. But Singapore is quite heavy on brakes and he's still got 33 laps to go.

They would have had to stop sooner or later to make it to the end. Personally though, I'd have left him out to try and make up time before the stop.

My mistake, but I refuse to count Indy 2005 as an official F1 GP anyway.
