Tell me how many races did you watch last season in GP3? Tell me how Quaife-Hobbs, despite having 1 season of experience which is a huge advantage to debutants, never managed to deliver in 2011?

His GP3 season was dissapointing, but Potty had far more high level motorsport experience in general. And how do you explain his AutoGP domination. When AQH is ready for f1 in a couple of years he will be extremely fast

Yes, Bottas might be overrated (don't follow english broadcasts so I'm not sure about the level of its annoyance) but I'm a little bit annoyed too with seeing you straight bashing him 45 times a month here with no basis behind your analysis.

With his experience he should have been completely dominant, and he was absolutely nowhere in the first half of the season.

And besides, I really like Quaife-Hobbs. And he was born on the 3rd of February

I find Quaife-Hobbs does indeed have a little potential in him.Sure,it'll need some developing,but look at the guy who won Auto GP 2 years ago...

Bottas had had two seasons in GP3/F3 level cars before 2011, of which both in F3...Quaife-Hobbs had had one which was in GP3 cars. So there's no 'huge' experience advantage you talk of.

Furthermore, the team (yes, the whole ART team) did suffer from setuping problems (lack of top speed) throughout the first half of the season, then before the German races Bottas stated they had come around them and since that ART, and esp Bottas was rather dominant.

But obviously you wouldn't know if you didn't follow...

Point is, it's not my problem what's your opinion about a driver or how much you hate Bottas, but the one sided bashing*500 messages on a forum without a thought of facts is simply childish behaviour imo.

I think he'll fit the Heikki Kovalainen-Mika Salo-JJ Lehto bracket pretty well: a regular points scorer who might luck out a podium once in a while, but no championship material.

But, eurobrun has been defending his views pretty aggressively in the past few days. Has the puberty finally settled in or what?

I would suggest impressing her, with your F1 reject knowledge. How could she not fall for that?

Back on topic, I think the Austin GP will fail.

Still unsure about how New Jersey will turn out. The track & New York skyline thing seem OK, but if F1 didn't work at Indy, I'm left wondering what chance has it got, anywhere else in the states?

Coming off of DC's article in The Telegraph, I can't help but say one thing: Stirling Moss and Gilles Villeneuve are overrated. Hamilton is much better than them.

And something that pertains to the likes of Gilles Villeneuve, Stefan Bellof, Ayrton Senna etc.: Why are those that died "in action", aka on the track, valued higher than those that didn't?

I disagree, Stirling Moss was easily the best driver never to win a title - don't forget, his career was cut short by injury. With all credit to Mike Hawthorn, I do think Moss would've won the title in 1958 if his Vanwall was anything approaching reliable, not to mention the fact that he was the only driver who ever looked like he had anything for Fangio after 1954. As for Gilles Villeneuve, well, come back when Hamilton won a race in a car that had no right to.

As much as I respect the man, I think that Michael Schumacher's a bit over rated. Admittedly, his 94 and 95 titles were impressive, won in cars that were theoretically inferior to the Williams. Again, his 2000 title was impressive, as I feel the McLaren was probably faster, and he had to work hard for his 2003 title. But in 01, 02 and 04, he had clearly the best car and the only person who had the same car wasn't allowed to beat him. In fact, his closest non-Ferrari challengers in those years were DC, Ralf Schumi and Button. Out of those three, I only rate one of those as a truly good driver.

2001 was mostly down to reliability and drivers that were just not good enough. Hakkinen had a horrible start and that took a lot out of him I think, while Coulthard was never going to beat Michael Schumacher unless he had a massive car advantage. Whereas Montoya spent most of 2001 either broken down or crashing into things, and Ralf Schumacher was in the same situation as Coulthard.
