Well, admittedly in more adult relationship she doesn't just handle your gearstick but actually let's you be the piston in her cylinder*, but other than that it's the same mess every time. Rubbish, because you mature as you get older. My whole point was that as a young teenager, your emotions are all over the shop, you're not fully developed and yet to fully acknowledge everything around you. Consequently the relationships themselves are immature too. In time you leave all that behind, grow up and become more sensible, more understanding of others feelings and emotions and are thus able to deal with them better. If people can't manage that then they're not worth bothering with, it's as simple as that.

Based on the preview clips that Dave aired during these last few weeks, I didn't think it would be very good. Red Dwarf was fantastic 20 years ago or such. You can't recapture the same essence by remaking it.

And no Holly in it either!

Speaking of TV shows, I am awaiting the moment when Fox finally switches off the life support system connected to The Simpsons. It's tragic to see what the show has become, compared to its 1990s-early 2000s heyday. And HD Simpsons just doesn't work.

Just 13 episodes of Fawlty Towers. Just 2 series of the British Office. Yet nearly 50 years of Doctor Who, which managed a revival after a long hiatus.

So many classic TV series survive on despite a shortage of episodes, yet others prove the exception to that rule.

At the moment it's just worthless rubbish inflating a post count that no-one cares about. Well the main reason I post so much is to try and get away from all the crap that is happening in real life. To be honest half the time I want not to feel completely useless to the whole world. And I also think that I took trying not to get overtaken in posts by Pasta too seriously. But I do agree that too many of my posts are a bit pointless as I did count quantity over quality. I think I should make more of my posts actually worthwhile and post less boring one line posts. But I'm not leaving the forum no matter how much yow want me too.

Whoa whoa, cool off a bit! I do agree that sometimes I grow tired with eurobrun's constant criticism on certain drivers (we know many times over that you think Bottas and Grosjean are overrated, move on already!) and sometimes nonsensical oneliners (constantly posting just to say how many times you've posted today or overall or where you are ranked on the top posters list is pretty much blatant spam in my book). Especially because I myself usually post only when I think I really have something good to say (apart from simple "Done" confirmations in the virtual series). But at the same time AndreaModa was a step too harsh in his criticism towards eurobrun, so perhaps an apology would be in order.

And unlike some members who stubbornly stick to their principles and think everyone else is wrong, eurobrun actually admitted his mistakes and is ready to change his style in accordance. Let's just end this argument before it really fires off, we've had remarkably few arguments here considering that the forum is already three and a half years old. One forum where I'm also a member just started a month ago, and it already has a lot of tensions between the members, although admittedly it's because many of them know each other from other sites, perhaps even years ago. But I still prefer to keep F1Rejects as a forum where everyone can get along quite nicely.

To clarify, I admit I overstepped the mark there somewhat, and Eurobrun, I apologise for that. The prospect of work in the morning definitely wasn't helping my mood at the time. The intention wasn't for it to be a personal attack, though re-reading it I regret one or two of things I've written there.

I will however stand by the overall theme of my original post. Whilst the way in which I wrote it last night was unpleasant and wrong, I maintain that the pointless criticisms are starting to annoy me to the point of leaving. Coops left a little while ago over a similar issue, and I can see his point entirely. We all have our favourite drivers, and the ones we may dislike as well, but on a forum such as this where the idea is to celebrate drivers, both good and bad, I can't help but feel that sometimes it looks a little bit too much like the Autosport forums. I'm all for a reasoned, well-argued debate on the relative merits or otherwise of various drivers, but when it gets to the point where it's just petty insults, that add nothing to a conversation and just cause tension, then why bother? I want to read the latest threads on the New Posts page and actually be presented with something worth reading, not just one-liners. They have their moments, but it's being done to death, and when I'm coming here and not enjoying my time, then I shan't bother anymore because life's too short.

No-one was saying anything, the situation was getting worse, and I just felt like I needed to. As I said, what I wrote last night was wrong and I apologise, but the intention behind the post was justifiable in my opinion. I agree, but I think the main point is that eurobrun has apologised of rhis actions and intends to change. I really hope you don't leave AndreaModa as the forums are a nice friendly active place, and if soemthing hapens to amke you depart, I fear other senior members will depart too, leaving the forums a shadow of their former self.

now, I really hope that doesn't happen, but I do agree with the intentions of your post.

I agree that the posts about my post count are excessive and unneeded. In the original post I did agree with some of his points but I think the rest of the post was pointless. I am willing to put in an effort but there other members who do much the same thing including one who I think is a lot worse

Whilst my first post was obviously in response to your own Eurobrun, my general point concerns the forum as a whole. For what it's worth the actual volume of posts is not something I consider to be the biggest problem, it's the increasingly common mindless bashing of drivers for no reason. I'm not the only one to bring it up, it's been mentioned in other threads numerous times, and in my eyes it just devalues the contributions of the member in question, regardless of what those contributions actually are. As I said, people liking and disliking certain drivers is a big part of the sport, but if members are going to undertake a campaign against one, like yourself against Grosjean and Bottas, then they should at least make an attempt to justify their claims, rather than simply re-hashing the same derogatory comments all the time. The fact that you post so regularly only serves to exacerbate this effect.

I keep my rejectful username, it has turned into some kind of symbol of blandness.

I pretty much understand Eurobrun (and others) desire to make an impact on this forum, and to be one of the leading characters. I had this too myself in the past at other places. But i calmed down, realising that having an opinion just to have an opinion does not contribute anything. I too sometimes post things that don't really contribute, but as i'm keeping calm, people don't take offence. It might annoy people sometimes that i don't have lot to say, but in the end they think 'well, he doesnt do any harm' . Of course i am unsure about myself sometimes because i don't have the wisdom, nor the humour to be viewed as an important person. But in the end, i don't get ignored or insulted when i do something, and that's actually a very good thing. I think it's the best all of you can do is just relax, nobody hates anyone here, you don't need to prove yourself, we all accept each other

Being important is overrated, we are F1rejects, not F1champions. But lot of people in here are young, and we all have to understand that, because that's the way young people are. Generally people here have done a brilliant job keeping it peaceful. And after all, it's just formula one. We're all here because it's our interest, not because we are forced to watch it, right?
