1. Toro Rosso - Solid double points finish as they continue their strong back half of the season
2. Nico Hulkenberg - Spent all afternoon mixing it with the Lotuses and McLarens of the world on a day where Di Resta did sod all in the sister car.

1. Toro Rosso - difficult to put either driver ahead of other, so it's better to give it to the team.
2. Hülkenberg - great use of opportunity to overtake both Grosjean and Hamilton.

1. Nico Hulkenberg - That was a brilliant overtake on Grosjean and Hamilton, and a strong drive all in all.
2. Toro Rosso - Great performance, but I expected them to do fairly well here - they were very strong in Korea last year as well.

1. Nico Hülkenberg: Very good weekend, left Di Resta in the shade in both qualifying and the race.
2. Scuderia Toro Rosso: Even though they have recently improved a lot, double points are still impressive. And who expected both of their cars to finish ahead of Hamilton?

Re: Infinite Improbability Drive of the Race - 2012 Korea
Checking the live timings, I really have to edit this. Holy papayas on a burning car crash, Flatman.
Felipe Massa - If there was ever any doubt that Fernando Alonso is NOT the best driver on the grid, those doubts have well and truly disappeared now. Massa has outperformed him for the fourth time in a row, and he would've finished second if it wasn't for the team orders. Much better pace than his teammate. Had the pace to beat Webber, possibly even Vettel, in a car that was marginally worse on race day. He has scored more points than his teammate in the last 4 races, and could've scored even more if it wasn't for the team orders. This, more than anything, should raise some alarming concerns at Ferrari. (and no, Japan was Alonso's fault, whereas Massa wasn't to blame in Singapore)
Daniel Ricciardo - If it wasn't for Vergne holding him up and his car failure, this would've been a perfect race for him. And it's not like Vergne was bad. Not at freaking all.
Honorable mentions:
* Jean-Eric Vergne - See above. Great result. Doubt he would've beaten Ricciardo if it wasn't for the latter's brake problems, but even with that, I think this performance has pretty much secured his future at Toro Rosso at the very least.
* Nico Hulkenberg - Where did that come from? His teammate was nowhere.

Sticking his neck on the line, one post at a time. Oh, and Singapore is still better than Monaco.

My nominations:
1.- Toro Rosso - Both cars on the points despite qualifying 16th and 17th. Vergne was especially brilliant.
2.- Felipe Massa - Some have nominated Nico Hülkenberg for finishing 6th, but I'll nominate Massa because he was as fast, if not faster, than Alonso for most of the race. Seems the Felipe of old is gradually coming back.

IIDOTR: A long strip of AstroTurf scoring 10th place and a world championship point. It really should have been officially classified as a new and unique late entry. Furthermore Hamilton and McLaren should have been demoted one position for spoiling its chance at a better result.
The USA is three meals away from chaos.

1:Toro Rosso-These guys have improved greatly over the year,I won't be surprised should they win a race before the year comes to a close,or at least a podium.
2:Nico Hulkenburg-If Massa, somehow, leaves Ferrari next year, this must be his replacement.

1) Hulkenberg: Great result coming from him.
2) Massa: Considering he was on Alonso the whole time shows that he has the pace.
Honorable mention:
The astro turf; seriously that made me laugh for a grand prix that was more or less a snoozefest.

Re: Infinite Improbability Drive of the Race - 2012 Korea
Another 2 easy choices
1.- Nico Hulkenberg: Grosjean must have felt like Loki after the beating in the Avengers movie. Did I heard a "pity frenchie" in The Hulk's radio?
2.- Squadra Toro Rosso: The Red Bull Jr's were feisty this weekend.
The Clash of the Titans Award goes to Kimi Raikkonen, for his battle against hamilton

1- Hulkenberg: Not so much for his result, but because he did overtook the highly rated Di Resta in the GC. Both look to be good solid drivers, but I am starting to think that Hulkenberg is the better driver and that can only mean good things.
2- Vergne: He won the Toro Rosso intra-team battle and is further ahead of Ricciardo now.
