The open wheel war in America was really silly. Tony George just wanted more power, and he's been booted off the Indinapolis Motor Speedway board by the rest of his family. The Indy 500 in 1997 was enjoyable just for how much fail there was in it -- if it was an F1 race still, Reject of the Race would be nigh-impossible to call.

The IRL now has their act gotten together, the problem is that the damage has been done, and while there are many talented oval and road course drivers in the field, the money isn't really there, even though the IRL puts on the best show on oval tracks -- like the Chicagoland race this year -- which I was at.

I hate the Australian weather- 42 degrees Celsius (the proper measurement system) tomorrow!
It isn't even summer and there's this 40+ degree heat!
Double reject points to anyone who can work out where I live in Australia.

Also I am annoyed at Formula Elaborate Bluff for keeping us on edge for a while mid-season but to no avail.

No, Bathurst should be renamed Rubber Duckie Speedway, because it's far more valued then a bathplug, all we need is for parts of the track to be literal lakes and for the cars to all be amphibious motorized ducks.
