OK, so with 30 entrants that took part in the European season (discouting Indianapolis), and probably 10 races in 1952, I've had an idea. The number of entries will be allotted according to those standings. I've got two proposals.

First proposal: the top 3 get 30 entries (3 per race), places 4 to 6 get 27, 7 to 9 get 24, etc.

Second proposal: first place gets 30, second place gets 29, third place gets 28, etc.

I feel the second proposal is a bit unfair towards the smaller teams, because they get less entries than teams directly above them, which may not necessarily have done better results. But I'll let you guys decide whether you prefer proposal one or proposal two.

Either proposal is fine with Gordini as we'd have 27 entries whichever one gets chosen  But for the sake of it, proposal 1 is better as those at the very back get the same amount of entries as each other.

So, in chronological order of confirmation (from only the 1951 thread, I couldn't be bothered to look for the other thread):

-Tony Rolt is rumoured to be doing the full season for Scuderia Maremmana, but his poor showing at Silverstone have put those rumours in doubt.
-Phoenix has made it well clear that Alberto Ascari is driving for him in 1952 (though it might not go as well as he plans).
-Jaguar - Aston Martin signed José Froilan Gonzalez immediately afterwards.
-In reaction to this, Mike Hawthorn was signed to the second Phoenix seat.
-Robert Manzon and Consalvo Sanesi are confirmed at Alexander Racing Team for 1952.
-Geoff Richardson is probably going to drive the Bentley.
-Farina, Fangio and Moss will all stay at Alfa Romeo.
-ENB will enter one car for Maurice Trintignant, one car for André Pilette and a third car that should be driven by Eugène Chaboud, Charles Van Acker, Paul Frère, Charles de Tornaco, Roger Laurent, Jan Flinterman, Georges Berger and Jacques Swaters in select races, but these plans depend on the calendar.
-OSCA have expressed the desire to enter Maria Teresa de Filippis for select races in 1952.

That's all, I think. To recap:

Scuderia Maremmana
Tony Rolt?

Phoenix Racing Organisation
Alberto Ascari
Mike Hawthorn

Maserati will look out to seal a full-season contract with Onofre Marimón (if FIA gives him a full license), looks for a way to put Britishman Peter Collins to run at some races, wants to see the current contract attachment to Luigi Villoresi, Felice Bonetto and Chico Landi and probably will give Brian-Shawe Taylor, Hans von Stuck, Marcel Balsa, Jean Behra and Ken Wharton a run in select races

ART-Gordini would like to make two announcements for the 1952 season. Firstly. After two years of good overall success, Gordini will be upgrading from a 1.6L4 engine to a new 2.0L6 engine. In addition, as the team is half french and half English, we would like a British driver alongside Manzon and Sanesi. Therefore, we would like to ask the FIA if Reg Parnell can be granted a licence.

Ferrari will retain all four drivers, and will once again rotate the British drivers between races (which includes Reg Parnell). We are also interested in continuing our partnership with Ferrari America.

Chiron will drive the main car in all the 1952 races. Dries Van der Lof will drive a couple of races, and Tony Gaze might as well depending on whether anyone else has claimed him yet. All other plans TBA

As Jaguar were the ones who signed Gonzalez for this year, we will leave it up to Aston Martin to sign our second driver, in the interests of fairness of course.

B.Bira to continue with Motorsport Bleu

Motorsport Bleu announced that B.Bira will stay with the team for 1952. No decision has been made regarding 2nd driver, but the team has negotiated with multiple drivers, including the ones who concluded the 1951 season with them.

Team will still rely on Talbot-Lago cars.

ENB's entry name will be changed as Garage Francorchamps, running under the banners of Bugatti Grand Prix and Ecurie Nationale Belge.
So the contractual situation is:
Maurice Trintignant (full season)
André Pilette (full season)
Eugène Chaboud (races in France and Monaco only, not available for other teams, also second backup driver. Soon to retire from F1 anyway)
Charles Van Acker (only contracted for races on the American continent, not interested in driving in Europe)
Jan Flinterman (Contracted for Dutch GP only, available for other GP's)
Charles de Tornaco (contracted for Italian GP only, available for other GP's)
Georges Berger (contracted for the German GP only, available for other GP's)
Roger Laurent (contracted for the British GP only, available for other GP's)
Paul Frère (contracted for the Belgian GP only, available for other GP's)
Jacques Swaters (races Belgian GP only, team owner, and official backup driver at every race he isn't driving, so not available for other teams)

Bill Vukovic is released from his contract, unless the Indy becomes part of the calendar (because that would mean the main drivers will be driving in Monaco)
Nello Pagani is also released from his contract.

Out of all contracted drivers, only Frère is actually useful for other teams. If you want to run one of my Belgian drivers for the Belgian GP, a deal can be done, if the FIA allows it.

You can have Frère for the whole season in exchange of a brand new car + spare parts + engineers + yellow paint. This will be run as the ENB-car, instead of the private Ferrari.

For the entries and performance advantage, I need FantometteBR to tell me whether Maserati is a continuation of Platé-Varzi or just a resurrected Maserati works team. Simply because the former would be better for you...

Actually, I've changed my mind. Pending Aston Martin's approval, we'd like Piero Taruffi in our second car for 1952
