Vettel 8 - Would've got seven but he posted the fastest lap so I give him an eight. Lacked a bit of awareness when Cucumber came in his way and then threw a tantrum on the radio for it. Didn't like his weaving on the track when he defended against Lewis as well. I'm completely in the Alonso camp for Brazil. This was a okay drive from Vettel.
Webber 6- Nothing spectacular from him. Then he retired.

Button 9 - Very strong performance. Had he qualified as normal (3rd, 4th row) he would've been on the podium. Very strong race pace and overtaking.
Hamilton 10 - Made passes on both Red Bulls. Won even though he started from the dirty side of the circuit. This could be the drive of the year. Ham did not put a foot wrong.

Alonso 7 - Was quiet all weekend. I feel he lucked out a bit this time around. Massa, Kimi, RoGro and Button where all clearly faster in the race.
Massa 10 - From taking a 5 place grid penalty imposed deliberately by your own team to driving like this, wow. His pace was excellent at the times it was required.

Schumacher 5 - Either he had a setup more suited for Q or he really pushed it on Saturday. His Sunday was bland.
Rosberg 5 - Better pace than Schumi on Sunday but was still lacking. That Merc is a crapbox.

Raikkonen 8 - Got one of the worst starts on the grid, even comparing to other on the dirty side. Made the best overtake of the day on Button (IIRC) and showed good pace. Unfortunately his botched pit stop meant Alonso got past him and he fell in a pack where he had to fight Button and Massa.
Grosjean 9 - RoGro had extremely good pace today and had he not spun he would've finished 3rd.

Di Resta 4

Vettel 9 - Another one of "those" drives again, sadly. He loses a point for making a fuss over the pass.
Webber 8 - Had a good start for once, and was running a fine 3rd, until his car let him down again.

Button 9 - Great climb from up the midfield.
Hamilton 10 - One of the few times I was happy to see him win.

Alonso 8 - Put on another good drive in the Ferrari, but was way behind the top two.
Massa 10 - Excellent drive despite the penalty.

Schumacher 1 - 5th to 16th?! Get out of F1! You're making a fool of yourself.
Rosberg 5 - At least he managed way better than his teammate did.

Raikkonen 7 - Solid overall. But could have done a little better.
Grosjean 7 - Great recovery after his spinout.

Di Resta 3 - Coudn't hold a candel to his teamate.
Hülkenberg 7 - Great start, and finished in the points again.

Kobayashi 4 - Very poor race.
Perez 5 - Did the best he could. Just shy of a point.

Ricciardo 8 - One of his better drives of the year.
Vergne 5 - Average.

Maldonado 9 - Has a clean race for once to score.
Senna 9 - Sweetens Williams' day with a double points finish.

Kovalainen 5 - Was pretty average out there.
Petrov 6 - Comfortably beat his teammate.

De La Rosa 6 - Another solid drive for him.
Karthikeyan 4 - A back marker in the best sence possible.

Glock 6 - Did what he could.
Pic 6 - Did what he could.

Vettel: 8
He was good, but his antics in the race was uncalled. Fastest lap, and a three-point extension in the lead.

Webber: 6
Alright, but his car decided to break down on him. Possibly he was on route to third.

Button: 9
Despite his car not letting him pass Q2, he had shown excellent passes on both Lotus cars. Without it, I believe he could have finished third.

Hamilton: 10
He proved us wrong. When I saw Vettel extend his lead to over three seconds, I thought the race is over. But he fought fiercely back, and brought home a win that was due already in Abu Dhabi.

Alonso: 6
He was lucky that Webber retired, Button didn't make it to Q3, Massa got his gearbox changed and the Lotuses were far behind. He'll need to pull something extraordinary out of the bag along with some huge luck if he wants to be the champion...

Massa: 9
Woah. Despite Ferrari screwing him over, he has put in an honest drive, with fastest laps on board too. He looked faster all weekend than Fernando. Without the forced penalty, I think he could have diced with Button for third.

Schumacher: 5
I don't think it's the Roten Baron's fault that he finished only ahead of the 2010 teams. His qualifying lap was one of the epic moments along with his Monaco lap, but the car is utterly misdeveloped.

Rosberg: 3
Why he gets a 3? Simple. He got through Q1 in SEVENTEENTH. He didn't finish that much ahead of Schumacher, plus he was totally anonymous all race. Did he win in China?

Raikkonen: 7
He did the best he can. Lotus wasn't good enough around Austin. He still has his perfect finishing record!

Grosjean: 7
He was close to Kimi, but his gearbox penalty screwed him over. I don't think he could have finished higher without it...

Di Resta: 2
Hülkenberg scored 22 points and a first corner retirement in the past five races. Paul scored two. Here, he was totally deadbeat. Again. 15th...

Hülkenberg: 7
A strong seven is deserved for Nico. He keeps Force India in the points, and he regularly does that so recently.

Kobayashi: 4
Sauber was hopeless here.

Perez: 5
+1 point for finishing 11th, but again: Sauber was hopeless here.

Ricciardo: 7
The strategist needs to be kicked in his arse.

Vergne: 3
We had two Red Bulls retire, here's the second one.

Maldonado: 8
Aggressive, yet finishing in the points, showing Senna who's boss.

Senna: 6
If he could have kept Pastor behind, I'd have given them both 7's, but Pastor find a way through.

Kovalainen: 5
Finished behind Petrov.

Petrov: 7
Led the 2010 cars home.

De La Rosa: 6
Led Narain home.

Karthikeyan: 5
At least he finished.

Glock: 6
Good job in quali, finished only one lap down.

Pic: 4
Finished two laps down...

TEAM RATINGS:

Red Bull: 8 - due to reliability
McLaren: 9 - due to reliability, but won the race
Ferrari: 6 - tricky with Massa, but 3rd and 4th still...
Lotus: 6 - they couldn't do much
Force India: 6 - Hülkenberg was very close to the Lotus cars, but di Resta was hopeless...
Williams: 7 - a double finish on merit in the points!
Sauber: 4 - they need more to finish ahead of Mercedes
Toro Rosso: 5 - reliability problems, and a strategic error made Ricciardo drop out of the top 10
Mercedes: 2 - only because Michael had a great quali, otherwise useless
Caterham: 4 - got beaten by Marussia in quali... that's a first...
Marussia: 5 - they are getting more and more results
HRT: 4 - good job on finishing

Vettel 8 - to be fair I'd have got annoyed in his position, it could just end up costing him the championship
Webber 7 - not really his fault to be fair but shy of his teammate's pace again

Button 8 - did well from a bad start
Hamilton 10 - seriously didn't imagine him beating Red Bull head-on

Alonso 7 - doubt he'd have come 3rd from his original grid position
Massa 10 - poor, poor guy

Schumacher 6 - good qually, obviously can't make up for the car's deficiencies in the race
Rosberg 5 - same but without the great qually

Raikkonen 7
Grosjean 6

Di Resta 4
Hulkenberg 7

Kobayashi 4
Perez 6

Vergne 6
Ricciardo 6

Maldonado 7
Senna 6

Kovalainen 4
Petrov 6

Glock 6
Pic 6

De La Rosa 6
Karthikeyan 8 (extra points for you know what) :)

Vettel: 8: Decent drive but shouldn't blame other drivers for his lack of spatial awareness.
Webber: 6: Wasn't that spectacular, and he retired with alternator problems.
Red Bull: 6: Holy crap sort out the alternator problems, please. I'm thinking it's more due to their placement in Red Bull's cars more than the engine itself because they're the only ones having this issue reoccurring.

Button: 8: A good drive from a rather crappy starting position.
Hamilton: 9: Didn't put a foot wrong all day, and did what he needed to do. A well deserved win.
McLaren: 9: The most consistent team of the weekend.

Alonso: 7: Faultless drive, even if a bit anonymous, but really it worked out for the better.
Massa: 10: Given a penalty by his team and yet finished fourth, and was the faster Ferrari driver come race day.
Ferrari: 7: Ferrari politics shine through again but Massa made up for it.

Schumacher: 4: Started fifth only to finish sixteenth. The only thing that stops me from giving a 3 is his performance in qualifying but that was deplorable.
Rosberg: 3: Did jack crap. Again.
Mercedes: 1: At this rate they might as well pull out the Tyrrell 026 from the museums; it's probably faster than the Silver Toilet they have now. Seriously; how can this team be so bad, especially since they won a race at the beginning of the year and were thought to have some pace?

Raikkonen: 8: Was towards the front the whole day; a good solid drive.
Grosjean: 9: Was ahead of Raikkonen until he spun...then he caught up and stuck with Raikkonen the whole day. If he didn't have that spin I'd say he'd be with Button and Massa.
Lotus: 8: Had the pace but not fast enough to be complete spoilers. Great performance though.

Di Resta: 3: Absolutely nowhere; what gives?
Hülkenberg: 7: Fended off a pair of hard charging Williams to net some points.
Force India: 6: The car is good, but they need two quick drivers if they want to challenge higher and fend off Williams.

Kobayashi: 3: See di Resta.
Perez: 5: Did all he could with a car that is becoming a brick.
Sauber: 3: Hopeless.

Ricciardo: 6: Guess the higher ups in Red Bull didn't want someone from their B-Team potentially spoiling their race.
Vergne: 4: Mechanical issues aside he wasn't that spectacular this race.
Toro Rosso: 5: Their car's suspension must have been made of toothpicks; Vergne was the only one this race who exited because of suspension damage.

Maldonado: 7: Solid drive for Williams.
Senna: 7: See above; might give him an edge over Bottas with performances like this.
Williams: 7: One of their better days.

All new teams and drivers get a 5; they did what they could really.

Sebastian Vettel
Q: 10 | R: 9 | Average: 9.5->10 | F1R: 10
For once, things did not go to plan for him. Was hilarious to hear him whine again, though it was slightly warranted as the DRS was far too effective here.

Mark Webber
Q: 8 | R: 6 | Average: 7 | F1R: 7
Wasn't doing a good job prior to the alternator failure. Would've lost to Alonso and Massa.

Jenson Button
Q: 7 | R: 8 | Average: 7.5->8 | F1R: 7
Good recovery race.

Lewis Hamilton
Q: 9 | R: 10 | Average: 9.5->10 | F1R: 10
There was no way he was going to lose this one.

Fernando Alonso
Q: 4 | R: 9.5 | Average: 6.75->7 | F1R: 9
If his drive was good...

Felipe Massa
Q: 10 | R: 10 | Average: 10 | F1R: 10
...then this guy's was incredible. How on earth is Massa managing to outperform Alonso now? Even the Spaniard is acknowledging it now. 2013 is a year to watch out for. Best Driver

Michael Schumacher
Q: 10 | R: 2 | Average: 6 | F1R: 4
Hero to zero. The car isn't an excuse this time, as he was beaten by Rosberg.

Nico Rosberg
Q: 5 | R: 7 | Average: 6 | F1R: 6
Let down by his crapbox. Beat Schumacher on merit.

Kimi Raikkonen
Q: 9 | R: 7 | Average: 8 | F1R: 8
Not all that great.

Romain Grosjean
Q: 9 | R: 8.5 | Average: 8.75->9 | F1R: 9
Very good recovery drive.

Paul di Resta
Q: 6 | R: 5 | Average: 5.5->6 | F1R: 5
What is going on with this guy?

Nico Hulkenberg
Q: 9 | R: 7 | Average: 8 | F1R: 8
Meh.

Kamui Kobayashi
Q: 6 | R: 6 | Average: 6 | F1R: 6
Stuck with Perez the entire race, but seriously...

Sergio Perez
Q: 6 | R: 6 | Average: 6 | F1R: 6
Seriously...

Daniel Ricciardo
Q: 6 | R: 8.5 | Average: 7.25->7 | F1R: 8
Good drive. Stayed out for too long though.

Jean-Eric Vergne
Q: 8 | R: 6 | Average: 7 | F1R: 6
Unfortunate, but he was getting beaten by Ricciardo.

Pastor Maldonado
Q: 8 | R: 8 | Average: 8 | F1R: 8
Did well to beat Senna despite a terrible first stint and the latter having a fresh set to start on.

Bruno Senna
Q: 7 | R: 7 | Average: 7 | F1R: 7
Meh.

Heikki Kovalainen
Q: 4 | R: 6 | Average: 5 | F1R: 5
Nowhere.

Vitaly Petrov
Q: 5 | R: 8 | Average: 6.5->7 | F1R: 7
Showed up Kovalainen yet again.

Pedro de la Rosa
Q: 7 | R: 6 | Average: 6.5->7 | F1R: 6
HRT, what are you doing?

Narain Karthikeyan
Q: 5 | R: 4 | Average: 4.5->5 | F1R: 4
My goodness...

Timo Glock
Q: 9 | R: 7.5 | Average: 8.25->8 | F1R: 8
Anonymous in the race.

Charles Pic
Q: 8 | R: 7 | Average: 7.5->8 | F1R: 7
See above.

Red Bull Renault - 7/10
1 Sebastian Vettel - Looked like he would run away with this one, but Hamilton took it from him. Blamed it on a backmarker and whined about it on radio. 7/10.
2 Mark Webber - Has had the bulk of Red Bull's reliability woes this year, and this weekend was no different. Didn't mess up the start. 6/10.

McLaren Mercedes - 9/10
3 Jenson Button - Was handing out lessons in overtaking this weekend. A very classy drive, real Jenson-style. 9/10.
4 Lewis Hamilton - Beat the apparently unbeatable Vettel, and helped keep the championship alive. He's great when he's racing "for the fun of it". 10/10.

Scuderia Ferrari - 6/10
5 Fernando Alonso - Took the chance Ferrari created for him, and went to the podium, coming to Brazil still with hopes of clinching the WDC. Was miles off Hamilton and Vettel though, and even Massa was faster. 6/10.
6 Felipe Massa - Given who was in front, 4th was the maximum achievable for him, and he did it, even with the penalty induced by Ferrari. Faster than Alonso in the race, climbed all the way from 11th in the grid with some very nice overtaking (though aided by Webber's DNF). 9/10.

Mercedes AMG - 3/10
7 Michael Schumacher - Bad Luck Schumacher at it again... Started 5th but just faded away with tire problems and never really recovered. 3/10.
8 Nico Rosberg - There definitely is something very wrong with your car when you go from winning races early in the season to struggling with the lower midfield later on. 3/10.

Lotus Renault - 7/10
9 Kimi Räikkönen - Back to normal, I'd say. Good, but not great. 7/10.
10 Romain Grosjean - Kept it on the road. Showed that he can manage it if he doesn't crash on the 1st lap. 6/10.

Force India Mercedes - 6/10
11 Paul di Resta - Was in nowhere-land... along with the Mercedes cars. 4/10.
12 Nico Hulkenberg - A performance more like where Force India is - near the front but not quite there. 7/10.

Sauber Ferrari - 4/10
14 Kamui Kobayashi - The Sauber car is known to be gentle on the tires, but Pirelli's tire choice for this weekend meant that would hurt them as the tires just wouldn't warm up. Hence, the car had absolutely no pace. 4/10.
15 Sergio Perez - Was in better shape than Kobayashi, but car problems didn't allow for him to capitalize. 5/10.

Toro Rosso Ferrari - 5/10
16 Daniel Ricciardo - Flirted with the points for a while, but ultimately couldn't score. 6/10.
17 Jean-Eric Vergne - Can't say much, only saw his early DNF. 4/10.

Williams Renault - 7/10
18 Pastor Maldonado - Showed good pace towards the end of the race. 7/10.
19 Bruno Senna - Had some nice battles, but that meant he couldn't manage the tires, allowing Pastor to take him near the end. 7/10.

Caterham Renault - 4/10
20 Heikki Kovalainen - Quoting himself, "We underperformed". At least finished ahead of the Marussias. 4/10.
21 Vitaly Petrov - Beat Kovalainen this weekend. 5/10.

HRT Cosworth - 4/10
22 Pedro de la Rosa - Once again, did the maximum the car allowed. 6/10.
23 Narain Karthikeyan - Not sure what is there between our favorite vegetable and The Finger... don't think he has done anything wrong though. 5/10.

Marussia Cosworth - 6/10
24 Timo Glock - Outqualified both Caterhams, showing Marussia's genuine improvement. Couldn't make it stick on the race due to them having KERS. 7/10.
25 Charles Pic - Same as Glock, but had some front wing damage that compromised his performance a bit. 6/10.

Edit: Corrected an oversight here, I copied and pasted this from last race and forgot to change Pérez's rating while editing.

Vettel 4 - Really should have won, loses points for his throwing dummy out of the pram routine when Hamilton overtook him
Webber 6 - Was slower then Vettel, probably would have ended up in 6th or so if his car did not break down.

Button 9 - Drove a great race, Hard tyres at start probably cost him a little.
Hamilton 9 - Good win, drove a great race.

Alonso 7 - Drove well and deserved his podium, minus 1 mark for Ferarri "cheating".
Massa 5 - Drove well but still spanked by team mate.

Schumacher 1 - Was a poor race, 5th to 16th???
Rosberg 2 - Was just as slow.

Raikkonen 6 - Good race but should have done better.
Grosjean 5 - Great recovery, but should have been higher.

Di Resta 2 - Was pretty rubbish compared to team mate.
Hülkenberg 7 - Drove a good race and kept the WIlliams at bay.

Kobayashi 2 - The Sauber was very poor today.
Perez 4 - Perez just shy of a point, but the car looked awful.

Ricciardo 6 - Was doing well but still out of the points.
Vergne 4 - Meh

Maldonado 7 - He scored some points? Really?
Senna 7 - Drove well to finish where he started.

Kovalainen 3 - Was spanked by team mate.
Petrov 5 - Was best of the rest.

De La Rosa 5 - Ahead of team mate.
Karthikeyan 2 - Won't be in F1 next year.

Glock 4 - Was only one lap behind.
Pic 3 - Was only two laps behind.

Vettel - 6 - Petulant little squit.
Webber - 5 - Even with the KERS/alternator failure, he wasn't going well.

Button - 9 - Strong, gritty drive.
Hamilton - 10 - Yeah, he deserved this one

Alonso - 8 - Keeps the championship alive.
Massa - 9 - Even with that 'penalty', a fantastic afternoon's racing.

Rosberg - 3 - Jesus bathplugging Christ...
Schumacher - 4 - Dear lord, I actually felt sorry for him, being passed time and again.

Raikkonen - 7 - On it all day
Grosjean - 8 - Gearbox penalty, a big spin which dropped him way down the field, and yet he's only a few seconds off his team mate when the chequered flag fell.

Di Resta - 2 - Hopeless. Just go home already.
Hulkenberg - 8 - Made a mockery of the dull Scotsman yet again.

Kobayashi - 3 - What are you doing Kamui? :(
Perez - 6 - His best showing for quite some time.

Ricciardo - 7 - Great first stint, but the strategy came back to bite him.
Vergne - 4 - Bah.

Maldonado - 8 - Fantastic wheel-to-wheel duels.
Senna - 7 - In the thick of it all day

Caterham, Marussia and HRT all get 5, as we didn't see much of them.

Vettel: 8 - A great drive, but not enough to keep Hamilton at bay.
Webber: 6 - Looked very ordinary.
Red Bull: 8 - Well, they were very quick and sealed up the title, but 18 points is a bit of a poor return given they should've snagged at least 33.

Button: 9 - Fantastic performance in the race after a poor qualifying and a rubbish start.
Hamilton: 10 - One of his best-ever drives. Proved that Vettel was indeed mortal.
McLaren: 10 - This is what they should've been doing all year.

Alonso: 8 - Standard Alonso, really.
Massa: 10 - Didn't let his being Barrichello'd keep him down for once. There may just be hope for him yet.
Ferrari: 9 - You can criticise them for sacrificing Massa all you want, but it secured the best possible result for the team. And for once they didn't try and cover it up.

Schumacher: 1 - Abysmal. Don't know if anyone noticed, but he pulled a move on Button at one point that harked back to Hungary 2010. I won't be sorry to see him leave.
Rosberg: 2 - Was merely horribly bad.
Mercedes: 1 - YOU HAVE ROSS BRAWN! WHY ARE YOU SO SHITE!?

Raikkonen: 8 - Solid drive and good racecraft, looking forward to see what he can dish up in 2013 now that he's had a taste of victory once again.
Grosjean: 10 - Absolutely sublime recovery after that spin. Would've been on the podium otherwise. Keep this up, Romain.
Lotus: 9 - I didn't expect much from them once they began tailed off in the midseason, but have they ever stepped it up in the last couple races.

Di Resta: 3 - Did nothing of note. He'd better do something special in Brazil, or I don't see him lasting much longer.
Hulkenberg: 7 - Not as good as previous races, but well enough to keep the Williams' at bay.
Force India: 5 - Nothing spectactular really.

Kobayashi: 4 - That is not what he needed.
Perez: 6 - Finally had another clean race.
Sauber: 4 - They'll need to do a lot better than this to beat Mercedes...

Ricciardo: 6 - Establishing himself as the lead driver in Toro Rosso - not a particularly great race, but he was still ahead of Vergne
Vergne: 4 - Has he actually done anything at all since he ran 7th back in Monaco?
Toro Rosso: 4 - Meh.

Maldonado: 8 - Really seems to have cleaned up his act, and showed Senna up again.
Senna: 7 - Solid drive, but being passed by Maldonado could not have helped him.
Williams: 6 - Figures, once the drivers have stopped being rubbish, the car's not as competitive.

Kovalainen: 4 - Meh.
Petrov: 6 - Beat his teammate.
Caterham: 5 - Meh.

De la Rosa: 5 - Meh.
Karthikeyan: 5 - Meh.
HRT: 5 - Meh.

Glock: 5 - Meh.
Pic: 5 - Meh.
Marussia: 5 - Meh.
