Also, the Jones Racing team has a vacant seat that is open to anyone wanting to make an offer. I'll put Nurmester in the car for some experience if no-one else comes forward but all offers will be considered!
Ah, I tend to forget the "ancestor" series and the fact that some of the RoLFS teams can trace their roots back there. Oh well, first win for the team under the current series' management, then! And of course Nurmester wants to aid the Jones team in any way he can.
Come to think of it, if the race on this track was already pure madness, who knows what will happen at South City? Will we even have enough finishers to give out all points?

If Vergne doesn't get a seat at the team that replaces Hydook, he's possibly available...
Jake Legge wrote:We thank Mr. Jones for his apology, and will be willing to loan him a driver if he would like. It would have been a great for Diego to grab a top result today, but we can be satisfied with 3rd. I'm going to try and lobby some F2RWRS owners over the coming period, as I feel that Diego and Marko Jantscher in our F3 squad deserve some seats there. We also have an announcement to make regarding our 2016 RoLFS lineup very soon. Stay tuned!

So I get to choose between Vernge, Pratchett, Ximelez, and Nurmester, if I get in...
Also, when should the deadline for Adriojim to respond be?
Autosport.com wrote:Two Teams in Bid for RoLFS Seat With the demise of the Hydook team after the most recent round of the Rejects of Live For Speed series, the series management have confirmed that only two teams have completed the application to take Hydook's place in the series. The announcement of which team will take Hydook's place is slated to take place in the upcoming weeks.
Adriojim has five days to respond, starting from the day when Pointrox announced Hydook's withdrawal from the series. In other words, the deadline is December 7th 14:00 UTC, after which the entry is automatically granted to RRR. As you might've noticed from the wiki, Hydook's numbers won't be redistributed this season so the new entrant(s) will use numbers 31 and 32.
It is a rather short notice, but I've heard that Aerond might already run the next F1RWRS race this upcoming weekend so I have to keep up with his pace.

If it's any consolation, my team may wish to elect to skip the round of Fern Bay to understand the car and do a shakedown so they don't enter the series blind. Also my team will be a one car team this season, probably go to 2 next season. (Implying I get in of course)
I'm not keen on running Nurmester as he may be required in the F3RWRS in future so I'd like to keep him free for that, and Jones likes the look of that tasty MasterCard sponsorship, so Gilles Massinion will be hired to replace van Rijkens! Nuppiz, a revised Jones livery shall follow shortly.
Autosport wrote:Gilles Massinion to replace van Rijkens at Jones Racing
Jones Racing have officially confirmed tonight that Frenchman Gilles Massinon will replace the outgoing Danny van Rijkens who has moved to the Tropico F1RWRS team after having become the first ever African race winner in the RoLFS. Massinon comes straight out of European F3 and brings with him sponsorship from MasterCard, a pre-requisite for Jones' drivers this year as the team struggles for money following last year's title sponsor Castrol's withdrawal.
"Gilles looks to be a very promising talent indeed" commented Jones this evening, "he'll be the perfect replacement to Danny who roved to be so popular with the team. It's a tough act to follow, but I'm confident Gilles can step up to the role."
Alongside the signing of Massinon, team boss Sammy Jones was also able to confirm a handful of new minor sponsors too, adding to the team's already cluttered livery.
"We've got a few more partners on board for the rest of the year, they're only minor deals but all combined we've put together a sizeable package that will enable us to maximise the car's potential and ensure that Connor and Gilles can achieve the maximum." Jones said.
Of the new deals the most significant is a multi-year cross-platform deal with Japanese model kit company Fujimi which will lead to its logos also featuring on Jones' other cars in 2016 should an option be taken up by Fujimi. The other companies signed are Creda, TRW Automotive, and Bic.

Yui Megumi has been officially suspended by Takagi Racing Enterprises from the next race after her "stupid" actions at the Westhill GP.
The team has announced that Megumi "suffered severe miscommunication and also misbehaved at the pitstop" and called her actions "dangerous". In response, the team stated that "suspending [Yui] Megumi is the only way we can control her racing behavior".
With Tetsuya Takagi racing for TRE F3RWRS team and Zalgio Ximelez ruling out himself of driving to replace Megumi, the team has decided to hire American racing driver Frank Tenpenny, a American minor open wheel reject.
Hey Phoenix, sorry if I had to steal your idea of naming drivers after GTA characters.
And RRR, I offer you Ximelez with a prerequisite: a NationStates logo in the car.

Hm, Fukuda is really too anonymous. Kim-Jong sung will do for now as replacement, as he's familiar with one of the previous incarnations of the team. Also, GTI's new reserve driver will be Justin Case, a 16 year old Canadian. (or what ever the minimum age is)

I have made my decision over who will drive for my team, as it will be 1 car for the remainder of 2015. Although I am currently undecided over who will be the test/reserve driver. Although, I presuming I get the seat again.

DAFUQ? Fukuda was absolutely destroying Garfunkel. Fukuda made it to both event Finals, Garfunkel made neither.
Your team management are idiots! We are terminating our contract with your stupid excuse of a team and anyone else who wants him as a mid-season replacement can have him.

I may take Fukuda as my test/reserve driver, with this fiasco. Hmm.

Not interested. Race drives or no dice.

He's boring. There's a lot you could say about Garfünkel driving style, but not that he's boring In fact, i gave Fukuda an extra race to prove he's brilliant, the only thing he did was being unnoticable. This is Grands Traveaux Inutiles, not Toyota.

Sure thing, will it be one or two cars? If you go with only one, you'd also give RealRacingRoots a chance to start his team. Your racing number(s) and engine choice have been predetermined, so all that's left for you is to choose a tyre supplier (Avon or Dunlop) and the driver(s).

Since I'm a good fella and it's my first season, I'll go with only one driver so RealRacingRoots has a chance (I'm only wondering if it will be possible to have two drivers in 2016). So:
Team Rojo (MEX) D1: Pablo Galaz (M) (MEX)
Tyres: Dunlop
My Test Driver will be Japanese Toru Fukui (with aspirations to have a seat in 2016).

Will this be the fist time that two Mexican drivers compete in a race on these forums? I sense a strong rivalry between Helio Hernandez and Pable Galaz

You can expand to two drivers next season if one of the current teams fold or downscale to a one-car team. At the moment the entries are capped at 30 cars total.
If you want to rebadge your engine (it's currently just plain Zytek), you're welcome to do so. As a new team you're also entitled to a 45-credit starting money, which you can spend on goodies listed here.
Oh, and what kind of a livery you'd like? If you want to make it yourself, the template can be found here: http://www.mediafire.com/?hjjdeb7kf27113u . Or I can do it for you if you don't feel like it.
