A solid qualifying performance for me and Steele, hope we can score points and not retire from a transmission or engine failure...

I am not 'appy with my qualifying, I should and could have been higher, but if all goes well then a good haul of points is possible. Two women in the field? What is the world coming to?

Great performance by Shinobu Katayama, she is much faster the Bosevic, with any luck she will get us some points.

This is actually an interesting situation. We have driver A, who is in contract with team B, but she bashes team C, while driving temporarily for team D!
And it's alright. We're almost regularly scoring points in the PQ, so it's definitely a better situation than 2014 was.

That was a good race for the team, we scored points and have already managed to double on Prospec's 2014 result with seven races still left to be run. Obviously I would have prefered to be the one that scores the points, especially after that great pre-qualfiying lap I put in which enabled us to take part in the race to score these points in the first place and the technical feedback on the new updates. Well, beggars can't be choosers as they say: for now I will take the points as they come and hope I don't run into any first-lap or technical issues in Spa.

Jones, McAllister and Dagnall to be held at local police station overnight

Following the F1RWRS German Grand Prix earlier today, a series of altercations erupted in the pit lane, leading to a brawl between Sammy Jones and Phoenix McAllister. This was after their respective drivers Rosco Vantini and Pippa Mann had exchanged unpleasantries on the podium, culminating in Vantini throwing a bucket of ice water at the race winner. Jones and McAllister then went to blows, with the Briton declaring he wanted revenge for the broken nose he sustained in the pair's last coming together at the British Grand Prix in 2012. Ultimately Jones got his wish, with a left-right combination sending McAllister sprawling with blood streaming down his face. Jones was then approached by Mark Dagnall who was clearly unhappy at having sat out another race after retiring early on. The reigning world champion squared up to Jones and a small scuffle then broke out. It's not yet clear why exactly Dagnall chose to pick a fight with Jones, particularly after rumours tipped Dagnall to be going to Jones Racing for 2016. German police then arrived on the scene, rounding up McAllister, Dagnall and also Jones, despite the best efforts of his mechanics who tried to shield the police from getting inside the Jones Racing garage. All three were driven away to the local police station, and in a statement just given out by the chief constable, all three drivers will be held overnight to answer for their actions.

The F1RWRS Commission refused to be drawn on the matter, and it seems likely that no action will follow. They have however issued suspended race bans to Pippa Mann and Rosco Vantini, as well as Pippa's teammate The Stig, who was responsible for the massive pile up that resulted from the first attempt to get the race underway. Phoenix McAllister is said to be furious that both his drivers have been punished whilst Sammy Jones has escaped with nothing. It seems that any news on criminal charges against Jones, McAllister and Dagnall, if any, will follow in the morning.

OK, I am sure that after the embarrassing display put up after the race, I must come up and explain my own version of what happened.

At the podium ceremony, Rosco Vantini, driver of Castrol Jones Racing, began abusing Pippa Man's family, including Douglas Mann, Pippa's brother and part-owner and driver of Foxdale Auto Racing Team, and make fun of women in motor racing, upsetting Pippa so much she ended up slapping Vantini in the face. After which the Italian, instead of wising up, had no better idea than to leave the podium, in clear violation of the F1RWRS podium protocol, to get some ice cubes and cold water and dump them all over Pippa. At that, point, I couldn't quite control my lividness at this turn of events and decided to chase down Vantini until I ran up to Sammy Jones, driver and owner of the eponymous outfit, who apparently was very resented because my team had beaten his fair and square and began fighting with me, breaking my nose in the process. A melee soon ensued, and Mark Dagnall, driver of DGNgineering, came up to us to try and divide us, only to receive a blow from Jones, thus getting himself also involved in the fight.

After all this, security was called and we were put under provisional arrest. Then the F1RWRS Commission decreed that both of my drivers should be suspended from the next event, as well as Rosco Vantini, but for some reason, they let Sammy Jones go unpunished.

As of now, we are considering giving Tanner Jason a drive in The Stig's place, but Pippa's seat is still free while we decide who should replace her.

Lindsay "has sympathy" for Aeroracing

Scuderia Alitalia team principal Alasdair Lindsay has spoken out in defense of Aeroracing, who had both their drivers handed suspended race-bans after a post-race melee during the podium ceremony.

"It's a disgrace that Jones' thuggery goes unpunished while the Aeroracing, the victim, is the one heavily punished," said Lindsay. "This is just typical behavious by Jones and his cronies, they are always looking for another target to beat up on, but as usual they don't count on their target retaliating."

"The decision not to ban Jones for his violent conduct is as senseless as the act itself. It's a ridiculous double standard where I am banned for entering the paddock for an entire year just because of a few soundbites, while physical violence towards others is swept under the carpet and dealt with like a non-issue."

"The only way to make Jones understand he's actually done something wrong is to ban him, and ban him for a long time. He thinks he is above everyone else, and it's about time the Commission manned up and put him in his place."

Dagnall, Jones and McAllister punished and released

Earlier today, Mark Dagnall, Sammy Jones and Phoenix McAllister were all released from a police station in Nuremburg, having spent the night in the cells following a brawl in the pit lane after the F1RWRS German Grand Prix had finished. Each were handed punishments by the German authorities for public order offences of varying scale. Dagnall escaped lightest, as it was he who had attempted to intervene to break up the fight between Jones and McAllister, and was handed a €400 fine. McAllister was fined €2000, given an official caution, and ordered to pay for damages caused to Castrol Jones Racing equipment, totalling €150. Sammy Jones however was handed the most severe punishment, with a €3500 fine for starting the fight. He too received an official caution from the police, and must complete 100 hours of community service in the Nuremberg area. Jones has also been stripped of competing in any form of motorsport in Germany for two years.

Despite the fight being broadcast live on television around the world, the F1RWRS Commission have decided to take no further action over the incident, believing the punishments handed out by the German police to be sufficient enough. Sammy Jones is believed to be making a statement to the press later today.

"McAllister should quit" blasts Jones

Following his overnight stay in a police cell in Nuremberg, Sammy Jones has made his first public appearance, labelling long-time rival Phoenix McAllister "arrogant", "delusional" and "wrong in the head". In an official statement after his release, he said this to reporters,

"First of all, can I just say, it felt fantastic to land that hit on McAllister that broke his nose. I've been waiting three years for that moment and it most certainly didn't disappoint. The problem with Phoenix is that since he's packed the driving in, he's rapidly gone downhill. He's lost all of his fitness and agility, which is why it was so easy to land those punches yesterday. I think the lack of focus for him has affected his judgement as well. I mean, obviously Rosco and Pippa have a bit of a rivalry going on and there's now a bit of bad blood between them, but Phoenix is just wetting the bed every night worrying about this sort of sh*t when instead he should just grow a pair of f***ing balls and face up to the fact that Rosco doesn't like to get beaten by a woman. He has his own views and I shan't apologise for them. The fight was a direct result of Phoenix refusing to accept this fact, and for me that was the tipping point. I'll admit Aeroracing are a very good team, McAllister has really turned things around and he deserves credit for that. I'll say now that I'm concerned they may be able to overhaul us during the second half of the year if their reliability improves. But that doesn't excuse the fact that just because Phoenix's team has started winning again, he can expect preferential treatment from other drivers and team owners. He has this warped idea and I think it's preventing the team from doing even better than what they achieve now. At Castrol Jones Racing, we've rolled our sleeves up and made the most of what isn't anywhere near the best package on the grid, and I think a few other teams, Aeroracing included, could take a hint or two from this, instead of just believing that they have a divine right to good results. It smacks of arrogance and it's quite unpleasant if I'm honest. The sad thing is the longer it goes on, the worse it's going to get. McAllister needed a wake up call because he's starting to get delusional about his team's abilities. I categorically refuse to apologise for what I did yesterday, and anyone who thinks I should can get f***ed, like that exemplary role model Alasdair Lindsay, who's so well behaved they have to keep him away from the paddock else he'll turn us all into daisy-picking poofs that polish each others cars before the race. As for my punishments, they're no sweat. I think I'll quite enjoy doing something that takes my mind off thinking about the morons that permeate the F1RWRS paddock like the smell of dog sh*t on a hot day. I'll find a replacement for future races in Germany, that's no problem at all."

Lindsay calls for Jones to be permanently banned from RWRS

Alasdair Lindsay, CEO of Il Barone Rampante, has issued a call for rival team owner Sammy Jones to be banned permanently from the Reject World Race Series, currently embroiled in a scandal from the aftermath of the recent German GP.

Lindsay himself has been in trouble from the series organisers, and is currently serving a one season suspension from entering the F1RWRS paddock. However, he says Jones transgressions have been far worse than his own.

"If you use my actions and the resulting punishment as measurement, the only fair punishment in this situation is for Jones to be kicked out of the sport for good," said Lindsay. "He has completely lost the plot. He's going around beating people up, and instead of admitting that the heat of the moment got the better of him and apologising, he sticks to his guns and says it's fine to go around physically abusing other memebrs of the RWRS paddock. It's sick."

"His press conferences are turning into demeaning slurs against anyone and everyone. I don't understand why the commission is doing nothing about this disgraceful behaviour, right now he's making us all look like a bunch of brainless and violent animals."

"I don't think I can stay in a sport any longer if people are allowed to act like this and aren't punished by their own regulatory body in some way. Being dealt with by law enforcement and a regulatory body are not mutually exclusive, both have to be involved in the case of serious incidents such as these."

Once home to the Finnish Grand Prix, motor racing will return to the Eläintarha park in Helsinki for the first time since 2002. The F1RWRS Baltic Sea Grand Prix will complete the trio of European sea races and bring F1RWRS racing to Finland. Held on the 22 November, the race will feature a lot of fun for the whole family. Ah yes, I didn't notice that there were some historical re-enactments. So to be accurate it will be the first time since 2002 that there is a race car meeting at Eläintarha, and the first proper race since after 1963.
