I'll propose another, classic, non-recognized reject action: Jack Brabham losing victory at the 1970 Monaco GP because he took badly the last bend (Rascasse) at the last lap! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zmzyHri8xKk

1985 - Australia - Philippe Streiff tries to overtake his teammate Jacques Laffite in the last lap who was on due course to 2nd place. The latter closed the door, which caused both Ligiers to crash and Streiff had to finish the race on 3 wheels. Ligier almost lost two podium places due to friendly fire.
1988 - Monaco - Ayrton Senna was pushing the edge in an alleged attempt to lap his team-mate Alain Prost. His solo crash was notorious, since he was 50s+ ahead of Prost.
1989 - Portugal - Nigel Mansell - The most stupid and idiotic move ever made by a professional driver in F-1. Taking out Senna after being black flagged should earn him a 1 year suspension instead of a 1 race ban.
A fan of Roberto Pupo Moreno, the one and only, the legend!
1995 San Marino Grand Prix - Eddie Irvine, driving for Jordan, pulls into the Ligier pits during the race. 1995 European Grand Prix - David Coulthard spins off on a reconnaissance lap to the grid and has to start the race in his spare car. 1997 Monaco Grand Prix - Jean Alesi spins trying to pass Mika Salo, completes a beautiful spin-turn, then stalls the engine. In the same race, Shinji Nakano manages to end up pointing the wrong way down Beau Rivage. 1998 Argentine Grand Prix - Jean Alesi drives into Sauber team-mate Johnny Herbert during their very first installation laps of the weekend. 2001 Canadian Grand Prix - David Coulthard finds a loose nut in his cockpit and throws it away without telling anyone. In the race, he drops back with a handling problem before his engine blows up. 2001 United States Grand Prix - Pedro de la Rosa parks his car after a mechanical failure during the race, vaults the armco and finds a small ravine and stream on the other side... 2002 Monaco Grand Prix - Alex Yoong crashes at Sainte Devote on his first flying lap of qualifying. The camera cuts to the Toyota garage, showing Mika Salo laughing at him.

Worst of it is, that could have costed Senna the championship.

Didn't Irvine drive for Jordan that year? Another ones: Montoya spinning in the formation lap of the 2006 Australian GP, and Hakkinen spinning out of the 1998 Italian GP when he was dominating, ending up crying in the bushes.

Yep, I'm guessing midgrid just mistyped. What would be wrong with a Ligier driver pulling in to the Ligier pits?
Yup, and then my computer crashed for good measure so I couldn't explain. Must be some form of karma.

There was a brilliant race, I'm pretty sure it was San Marino 1985 where barely anybody crossed the line on the last lap as everyone was running out of fuel. I remember Boutsen's arrows barely making it and others konking out before getting there. It was ludicrous. If it was that race, then that was the one where Prost got disqualified as well for an underweight car so that made it even sillier.

I am indeed. Luckily he made up for it the race afterwards... ...and I've not spotted Giancarlo doing anything like that on any grid since. Twice is quite enough for this supporter, thank you very much...
Fisi must panic during the warmup for every Malaysian GP now. Twice at the same track {Tealy - 3 posts from end of page 1}
Probably not, since he's remembered his grid slot for six consecutive Malaysian Grands Prix...
On top of that, he stalled. {Nuppiz - 17 posts ago}
Occupational hazard of burning the clutch out... ...which as Martin Brundle commented during the race, was probably due to the amount of three-point turning done before the lights went out!

i must have missed something that season
Well, there was a similar incident involving Michael Schumacher and Pedro Diniz in the last laps of the 1998 race, and it even happened in the exact same spot where Kimi would later re-enact the event with Sutil. Basically, Diniz was minding his own business when Schumi just rammed into the back of his Arrows in the chicane. In dry conditions, no less.

and more importantly, Diniz managed to finish the lap and bring the car home in 6th!
Back on topic, Raikkonen on the first lap of the 2007 european grand prix, when he missed the pit lane and had to do another lap on his dry tyres.

To be honest it wasn't completely his fault. Afterall HWNSNBM decided that he would open the Heavens that day just cause he can.

I was under the impression that HWNSNBM did so Markus Winklehock could lead the race in his one, and likely only GP

The French Grand Prix at Magny-Cours pretty much was the Farmville Grand Prix.
It did not have a cartoon sheep and cartoon chicken that look like they're dosed up to the eyes on prozac. Does not count. Maybe though, this is Jean Todt's way of bringing Magny-Cours back!

This is interesting... are there actually people somewhere that care enough about Farmville to freaking cheat in it or HACK it? Who the hell cheats in Facebook games?
