Foster's Good Call Racing are definitely interested in joining the new series

I think it's assumed everyone who currently has an RoLFS entry will automatically have one for the F1C series, as it's the same 'series' in terms of lineage.

Yep. The only things that will change is the name of the series and the game it is run with. Although I may still have to drop the idea of separate tyre manufacturers, as I'm having great difficulty in getting the textures work.

Success, sort of. I finally managed to change the default tyre textures, so I might just get multiple tyre manufacturers working as well.

Alright, I admit that Jung should be retroactively disqualified from the Drivers' Standings but the entire team should not be held liable to his actions at the Blackwood Round. Therefore, I propose that Tarantino can keep Jung's results towards the Constructors' Championship, a la Ferrari after Schumacher's DSQ after the 1997 European GP.

Easily confused with F1RICS I feel.

How about International Formula Reject? IFR is a bit more distinguished from the other series and gives it its own identity IMO.

I also failed to make different tyre brand textures work (believe me I tried everything), so that leaves us with only two options:
  • We choose a single "neutral" tyre supplier towards which no team has any particular interest in.
  • I'll simply make the tyre textures blank, and instead the team's chosen tyre brand is represented by the logos on the car, F1RWRS-style. That way, IBR can still keep their Pirellis, MRT their Michelins, ZimSport their Bridgestones etc. This is a far better option in my opinion.

Aerond wrote:I'll fund a new team called "Puyo Puyo Racing" if spots available

That'll put you 7th on the waiting list, though more spots are likely to open when I switch to F1C.

The new name will be decided a bit later, although at the moment I'm leaning towards IFR and RoFC.

What I did for the TM Master Cup series is (when I had a tire war) use a tire with two red stripes on it, so it wasn't a blank tire and it wasn't a branded tire. You could probably get away with it with generic white "Series Name" text.

Also, I would be interested in fielding Italian driver Silvia Renaldi in the new series. I'm subscribed to you on YouTube and watch every single race so I felt it was nigh time I got in on the action. I will miss the LFS AI though (especially those engine sounds... don't know why I like them).

I would like to take a shot at designing a team livery, preferably my own team if I can get a spot (the team would be called Chronos GP), but I'd be open to designing one for someone else's team too. I'm a little bit anal about being able to design my own cars, let's say... and if Chronos GP gets in I'll make sure to pepper the livery with pay driver sponsorship. :D

Which reminds me that if any you want to design liveries for Aston 24 Hours, you can find the templates here: http://www.barkingpig.org/msz/pages/kits.php . FXR is FXO GTR, FZR is FZ50 GTR and XRR is of course XR GTR.

The Formula Nippon livery bitmaps seem simple enough, so I should be able to make a decent template for you to work on.

Okay, so could someone make a tribute livery? I don't have my own computer now, so I can't make it myself. It would be similar to what Ferrari ran in Italy 2001. So no sponsors, black nosecone and wings.

Nuppiz, that may not be needed. If the model used is the same as the one used for the rFactor version, the templates for rFactor may be able to be used.

How about the LGPS journeyman Ralf Alden, from the United States? He's 47 now (that means his debut age in LGPS 23, Nuppiz ;)).

And how with the TRE's tribute livery? :)

Actually...given how successful all three of them have been in the two touring car series (F1RTCS and Warped), Lavezzi IBR's lineup will instead consist of Alessandro Lucarelli, Lorenzo Crescenzi and Martin McGovern.

I just checked it out, and the template does indeed fit the F1C version. But it completely lacks information on what part goes where, unlike my template which has pretty much every small bit named separatedly. I guess I'll combine the two, using the shading and wireframe from the rFactor version and applying those on what I've already managed to do.

FMecha wrote:And how with the TRE's tribute livery? :)

It's in the queue; I haven't had the time to concentrate on the RoLFS liveries while testing stuff for F1C.

What size should the template be re-sized to Nuppiz? I remember it needed doing for the LFS single seater skin, so I'm guessing these GT cars will need the same, to stop the logos being warped?

Same way as the F08 template: from 2048x2048 to 2560x2048.

I'm also nearly done with combining the rFactor and my own FNippon templates. Once it's done, you can make decent liveries with nothing more than the paint bucket tool if you wish, as all shades, parts etc. are in separate layers. I've carefully divided the parts so that even minor parts such as front wing supports and winglets each have their own layer. From there I move on to making the helmet template a bit more understandable (currently it has no info about what goes where).

Jung's ban has been reduced to one year, and all of Tarantino Autosport's team points have been restored.

If you already want to look at next season's car and helmet templates, here's the download: http://www.paste.fi/file/13595775745771. I've colour-coded each part to make them stand out a bit better.

Both are now at your disposal, should you not find other drivers in time for the event.

Okay, so I've just spent all evening creating what can only described as a sticker-fest for the #22 Jones Racing FXR car, Nuppiz, here's the download, I had to flatten it to PNG as although I edited it in .psd on Paint.NET, it wouldn't let me save it as that, so I opted for PNG instead. Hopefully that's okay!

Unfortunately, as you no longer have the original PSD, there is no way of removing the wireframe now. I'm afraid you have to do the whole thing from scratch if you want to remove it.

At the moment the car looks like this (notice the reversed Motorola logo on the rear wing; that's the only error I noticed):

Bugger! What a cretin.

If I find the time I'll go back and re-do it, there's a few things that need tweaking on it anyway.

Oi! You cheeky get. What do you think you're doing, pinching my sponsors? Trying to imitate Daniel Melrose here or something? And anyway, that car is utter Shann...er.

In place of SS United logo in the side of TRE's cars, Nuppiz, can you put this:
Image

(It reads "Dave [McFaste], Leonhard [von Gottorp], [Nobushige] Fukuda. None of them shall be forgotten!", by the way. The romaji is "Deibu, Reonharuto, Fukuda. Sorera no dore mo ga wasurete wa naranai!". Since I am using Google Translate, blame that for any translation errors.)

You talking about MasterCard Kostas? Because we've been through that before, Massinion has them as a personal sponsor, so they went on the RoLFS car as soon as I signed him.
