Meanwhile, I'd actually end up with a worse lineup than the one I already had! D Mann and M McFry. Not as good as Koczo/Fleet. I'd be so screwed in the Grand Reversal. But it'd be interesting to see what Dagnall could do in a Dofasco.
We'd have to drag him into qualifying I'm afraid, because Pre-Q would be an impossible task. Another thing is his race pace.

Or, we can have a free-for all pre-qualifying where the top 14 teams make it through to qualifying and the race, just for teh lulz

That would be ok too; we may even rescue some cars from the previous two seasons (as there'd be still some spots open with a double Pre-Q session); how a 2013 FAT would fare against today cars??

Can we chuck in the 2013 Flying Fox as well? And how will you allocate drivers for these guest teams?

Or a "Rejects of RWRS" race, with the Trueba, CR, Horizon, SOTL and Virgin from 2013, Shonan, Tropico, Mecha and Mitie from 2014 and Simpson, Autodynamics and Dofasco from 2015, with all cars driven by "reject drivers" using the same definition as for real life F1 drivers.

Of course, there were two big reasons why Douglas Mann remained in the other seat: 1. He is the brother of the team boss, Pippa Mann; 2. He is one of the few drivers to have been entered into every single round of F1RWRS...

Sunshine announced today that they were resigning James Davies for 2016 after a less than successful season. Nevertheless, hopes were high within the team, hoping to keep stability which was absent during this season. "James is our main man and we very happy that he decided to stay with us for 2016. Obviously we want to repay his confidence by delivering a car which he can work with and move us forward where the Sunshine name should be", said João Lagos. With the resigning of James Davies and having already confirmed Daniel Martins, the team will also hoping to retain Yuko Katayama as a reserve driver felling that she still needs another year in F2RWRS.

In regards to engines, can we keep our current engines or do we have to get new engines for the new system? If we have to get new engines, then I'm up the creek without a paddle as I'd planned to keep the engine and scrap the woeful chassis.
Aerond wrote: Engine change will be mandatory, but every team will get half credits of the cost of the current engine on top of their budgets.
You can keep your old chassis for as long as you want, but any teams changing chassis will have to build one.
Ah, bathplug, when I decided on this engine/chassis combination I'd planned to keep my current engine and spend most of the budget on a new chassis for next season. Now it looks like I'm all the way back to square 1, with possibly less credits then a team just starting out.
There's no way I'll be keeping the skip-bin special chassis for next season, there'd be no performance gain no matter what engine I'd put in

Even if you were able to keep your current engine you'd be doomed because the new engine list will reduce gaps between top and low end engines.
And same as tyres, I was thinking on introducing a free chassis and a free engine

Thoses engines are not that rejectful, well apart from the Pure-Hart ones, the Ford and maybe Gillet...
This is F1Rejects World Racing Series and not F1, so I hope there will be more reject worthy engines to come... although maybe you could make the Lancia engine a rebadged customer Ferrari engine, the Holden a rebadged customer Chevrolet V8, the Audi a customer Lambo engine, etc

What you've just done is suggest that three works engines become rebadged customer engines. What should BMW be?

What I'm looking for is to let current teams keep their storylines with manufacturers if they want to.

BMW (Mini) Gillet Holden (VXR/Opel) Lancia (Fiat/Alfa Romeo) Audi (VW/Lamborghini?) Ford Renault (Nissan/Infiniti/Dacia)

Yeah, also, I'm not so big on people renaming Lancia engines to another Italian marque. It defeats the purprose. If an American team comes along, takes Lancia engines and wants to rebadge them as Chryslers, fine, and if an Eastern bloc team comes along and wants to rebrand them Zastavas, fine (This has already done that), then okay, but no Fiat, Alfa Romeo, Maserati stuff please...

Wasn't there some talk about users on the waiting list controlling the tyre suppliers next season? If it's still going ahead, when are the tyre brands going to be assigned?

Very soon; It's one of the first tasks to take. But give me a break please! Season has just ended and there's still the NC races

Nobody took Subaru engines. And Zakspeed and Motori-Moderni were turbos that were used in the DGNWINSLOL in 2014 (in case of Zakspeed) and Sunshine's only "good" season (in case of Motori-Moderni).

Well, given that it was DGNWINSLOL, I argue that being 3rd in the constructors final standings made it indeed good and not just "good". I don't contest though that this year was a bit, erm, rubbish although it could have been much worse.

When you mean engine changes are mandatory, does that mean that I can get another engine that will still be a Gillet? Because I reached to power limit on this Judd too many months ago

There will still be a Gillet engine available But you can chose not to get it and get another one (no rebranding allowed).
By the way, I can confirm there'll be a Free chassis and a Free engine along with the Free tyres. But teams will only be able to chose one of the three.
