Go home Monster, go home!
I mean, if you're gonna win the court case, could you at least drag him kicking and screaming out of Triple 8 while you're at it?

It was significantly more likely that I would become the new Pope than Whincup having to leave Triple 8 due to this case

Although with the Giz looking like he's probably the man to beat this year, it probably doesn't matter as much.

Well, I am glad to see that Mercedes didn't fell far from their F1 tree. Worse than Nissan, he? And that Maro Engel has a knack to finish last in these adaptation times it seems. No wonder, looking at his DTM results... I expect them in three years time to sign everyone from triple 8 team.
Colin Kolles on F111, 2011 HRT challenger: The car doesn't look too bad; it looks like a modern F1 car.

You know, I'm quite liking this whole BJRWINSLOL thing going on this weekend. Plus, it gives us an excuse to call for David Wall's sacking as he's proven to be absolutely useless in what is fundamentally a very good car.

Shoutout to James Moffat for getting 7th and 5th in the first 2 races of the weekend in that Nissan. Too bad these races aren't for points.

The Altimas all look good on soft tyres, I expect them to be fairly decent at Symmons Plains. I can't say the same about Mercedes yet...

It's hilarious how the basis for his move to the Kellys, and for that matter, Holdsworth to SBR, was because they believed the Kellys/SBR had better engineering resources than GRM and they'd thus move up the grid. Now McLaughlin will almost certainly win a race, likely at Surfers or Homebush, and I would put money on Premat getting a podium at some point, while Caruso is stuck outside the top 10 and Holdsworth is fighting just to get in the top 20

It's even funnier because apart from McLaughlin and Fiore (who seems to have lost a lap), Holdsworth and Slade are the last two cars. Not that Engel is much better.
Also, go Caruso! He may be driving for a bunch of idiots, but he is the lesser of four evils there.

Re: The Totally Ripper/Bonza V8 Supercar Thread.
Right, let's summarise this weekend:
We had BJRWINSLOL, which is a good thing for two reasons. One, because they're a Holden team, and two, because they don't rely on T8 or Walkinshaw
We had GRM winning a race, which is good for the exact same reasons. The problem is that in four V8 races (and lets chuck in 3 Carrera Cup races), no Aussies won races. That was probably a hint for the F1 race, actually
We had all six Triple Eight cars and two of the Nissans excluded from a race for some technical reason that had no bearing on performance whatsoever. Not that I'm complaining about that
We had James Moffat leave with his wallet quite a bit lighter after giving Scott Pye a shove inside the LDM garage, then try to pass it off as "not worth discussion"
Why is this not a championship round? Apart from Bernie, and Channel Ten![Evil or Very Mad ](./images/smilies/icon_evil.gif)

Tyre allocations for majority of remaining rounds to be cut
So it saves costs and makes life harder for the teams? I'm all for it then.

Well, V8 Supercars just wouldn't be the same without Ford - the famous rivalry would be dead, and the series would lose a lot of it's fanbase. The only other Ford team left are DJR, and they aren't faring too well at the moment.
This is a cool spot.
