Didn't VDG smash two nosecones in Q1?

Nope, he somehow managed to avoid the wall when he had his second excursion right at the end of Q1

I'm actually actually looking forward to something on the Flemish tv-coverage: cynical comments about Van Der Garde's antics. (usually they have no opinion at all, even Karthikeyan got some credit, but their opinion on VDG is very obvious.
I don't know what i want and i want it now!

Usually only the races have counted for points. Still glad this has been created though

1 point for Chilton, had to have it replaced after crashing in to Van der Derp.

What are the rules for this again? Is it 1 for taking the wing off, x2 if you do it against your team mate and x3 if the other driver retires as a result?
Martin Brundle for FIA president. We need someone with common sense up in the ivory tower of power.

I hope Jeoren Slaghekke gets into F1 just so I can say that I've talked to an F1 driver.

But do the multipliers stack up to X5 or X6 if one makes their team mate retire?

Does the front wing that was destroyed by the tyre parts count for Rosberg?

And were there any other nosecone/front wing destructions in the free practices?

I think it should, as the front wing did break. May not have been Rosberg's fault, but hey, broken nosecones are broken nosecones.
LONG LIVE MARUSSIA

Things I was wrong about:
Kimi to Ferrari, Perez out of McLaren, Maldonado to Lotus, Kobash comes back, Gutierrez stays, Chilton stays, Boullier leaves Lotus.

Bottas wiped out a front wing before the race started, Maldonado lost a front wing during the race.

And we also had Alonso's nose-job... which sent him into the turn 1 gravel trap when he decided going for another lap was a good idea.

There has been also a rule that car must be otherwise in such condition that it is possible to continue driving. So basically big wrecks which damage about everything in car don't count, like this from last year.

Malaysia also had Pic damaging his nosecone (Vergne pit lane crash).

Webber and Ricciardo had nose changes this race.

Ricciardo's was not seen on screen but Sky Sports reported that it was indeed changed, the team believe this cost Ricciardo a shot at 5th place.

Does Räikkönen count? Admittedly his nosecone wasn't exactly destroyed, as he only got some minor understeer as a result of that damage...
