Lewis / Button

Post by madcat »

So how long into the championship will we start hearing Button complaining that the team is bias towards Lewis, that he doesn't have the same equipment, etc?

And will there be a fight of the dads? (My dad does this, my dad does that...)
As i looked at my naked body in the mirror, i thought to myself,
"I'm going to get thrown out of Ikea any minute.".

I'm hedging my bets on 7 minutes into the first race weekend.

I will be astonished if it takes that long. Surely the infighting will appear at the pre-season tests. Or perhaps at the car launch.

I can see them fighting over whose glass of bubbly appears to have more in it than the other...

It'd be amusing if they start to make jokes one against the other (like Senna and Berger but in negative)...

BTW, thats Räikkönen with two K's and two N's. Not Raikonnen (Raikkonen is fine if you have no umlauts though)

They managed an entirely neutral year, really (1988).

And will there be a fight of the dads? (My dad does this, my dad does that...) {madcat - original post}

Jenson's already thrown the first (jokey) salvo in that battle in the January 2010 edition of F1 Racing by saying his dad is cooler than Lewis' dad because he wears pink shirts.

Disregarding the tenuous logic in that statement, I'd say battle will be joined unless Lewis is very careful.

With any luck, they'll crash into each other a couple of times and allow Schumacher or Alonso to win the championship.

HWNSNBM would win the championship regardless.

HWNSNBM IS the championship

HWNSNBM determines who wins the championship. That person gets the title "Second to HWNSNBM".

The advertising billboard behind the podium is actually the ceremonial space left in offering to HWNSBM after each race, well above the rest of the stage. The fact that they refer to the other three steps as first second and third is purly a matter of convenience.

...But has it not be confirmed that HWNSNBM is always classified in 0th position therefore?

And as Senna once said, being second is just being first of those who lose, that means everyone else loses.

Well, they're being more civil that Massa and Alonso so far. Maybe The News of the World can come up with a rumour that one of them is hitting on the other's missus...

Oh come on, we all know Jenson Button and Nicole Shirtslinger wouldn't work. Jessica Michibata and Lewis Hamilton on the other hand just might, but... this just isn't going to happen, okay? Urgh, forget I posted this...

What I meant was he's already busy telling everyone how much Button's WDC was the car's doing, and making our Jens generally miserable before a wheel has turned. Got to give it to Lex Brawn-uthor, he's still the man.

More merit for Ross then if he says Schumacher has won his 8th title thanks to his car.
