Re: F1 Rejects Forum Ratings 2013 - R4 Bahrain
Vettel: 10 Fantastic easily one of his best wins. Got absolutely everything right. That's how it's done
Webber: 6 Left in Vettel's shade and lost 2nd place. Did he have a car problem or something?
Red Bull: 9 docked a mark for losing pole and for Webber's second half slide down the order
Alonso: 8 Only off the podium cause his DRS did a Schumacher Canada 2012
Massa: 4 Madre Mio what happened there. Was his suspension jinxed or something?
Ferrari: 2 Looked more like Dallara than Ferrari out there. Sort it out lads
Button: 5 Whined too much made 4 stops and Perez left him for dead. At this rate Bunsen Jetton could become permanent
Perez: 8 This was an important race and he responded in fine style. Give your rivals room though
Mclaren: 7 The new boy is starting to get his act together. Podiums are not far away
Raikkonen: 9 Great afternoon great Strategy he is a certain contender for the title
Grosjean: 10 The true Grosjean is back thanks to him i will go to bed a happy boy
Lotus: 9 If they can get Qualifying sorted they will be untouchable even for Vettel
Rosberg: 6 He was powerless no matter how hard he fought. Will want to forget this race in a hurry. At least his combat skills have improved
Hamilton: 7 Largely quiet but came alive in the last part of the race.
Mercedes: 5 If we were on Bridgestones with refueling These guys would win all the time. Sort it out
Hulkenberg: 5 To be honest the only time i saw him was when he was being overtaken. Too Quiet
Gutierrez: 1 Imagine what Kobayashi could be doing in the car. Broke his wing and finished behind Pic. Utterly Utterly Useless
Sauber: 5 Get rid of this useless Mexican and give Kobayashi his seat back. Also give the Hulk a better car
Di Resta: 9 FINALLY something to get excited about over the GOM. Came within 2.2 of giving me nightmares in my sleep
Sutil: 7 Would have almost certainly been in the fight had he not had that contact
Force India: 9 Looks like Di Resta's ambitions of a well earned podium are about to come true
Ricciardo: 4 China Hero Bahrain Zero. You need to do better than that. Only man out of Caterham and Marussia not to have a problem to get Lapped
Vergne: 4 That was a needless collision and resulted in the only DNF
Toro Rosso: 3 Must do better
Maldonado: 7 hauled that POS Williams to the Brink of the Points
Bottas: 6 Almost scored points but it was not to be
Williams: 6 Spain can't come soon enough
Pic: 8 Kept Gutierrez behind him Thrashed the Marussia's and made Van der Garde look Ordinary. Good Job
Van der Garde: 4 Threw away a respectable qualifying with the clash with Vergne
Caterham: 7 Progress is being made. Put GVDG on probation or replace him with Kovalinen and hey presto they will be complete
Bianchi: 4 The Wunderkid was utterly powerless against Pic and he was dangerously close to Chilton
Chilton: 4 His best weekend of the season-Which isn't saying much
Marussia: 3 That was rubbish. Unable to respond against Caterham and Bianchi was woefully off-colour
Webber: 6 Left in Vettel's shade and lost 2nd place. Did he have a car problem or something?

I agree. If Gutierrez keeps going like this Monisha will be the laughing stock of the paddock. If Perez wins a race then it will only get worse

Re: F1 Rejects Forum Ratings 2013 - R4 Bahrain
(This is my first time doing a rating, since this is the first I have actually sat down to watch a F1 race in almost a decade.)
Vettel: 8 Not much to say. Just happened to be ahead of the carnage early on and rode with it. Perhaps those lucky shoes he commented on at the winners circle paid off...
Webber: 7 Almost took out Rosberg, but seemed to perform pretty well throughout the race. Lost the endgame battle with Hamilton though.
Red Bull: 8 Still showing their technical and strategic prowess that has made them the team to beat. Luck may have made it a bit easier for them this weekend.
Alonso: 9 After having rotten luck with his DRS, performed an excellent comeback to the points. Probably not too happy that Perez crowded him out of a chance at the top 5.
Massa: 4 Ended Sutil's hopes early, then just fell down the grid. Karma perhaps? Front wing could be the culprit though.
Ferrari: 6 A wonky weekend dropped them down to 3rd in constructors. Need to get their act and cars together if they want a chance at the constructor's title and Alonso at the top.
Raikkonen: 9 Got caught in the midfield at the start, but the Iceman's patience and tire nurturing brought him a well-deserved 2nd.
Grosjean: 9 A very strong performance, too bad it dashed the hopes of Di Resta at a podium. Definately a few steps up from his medicore first few races.
Lotus-Renault: 9 Quite a comeback after the dodgy last few races. Now in 2nd in driver and constructor, should be a contender for both titles.
Hamilton: 8 Wasent too prevalent until the end, but was constantly in the points. Great battle with Webber for 5th.
Rosberg: 6 Started on pole then just sank like a stone to the low points. What happened?
Mercedes: 7 Not bad, but could have been much better considering their starting positions.
Button: 6 Lost the fight with his teammate and lingered at the low points from then on.
Perez: 8 Shoved off the teammate that was pushing him around and fought off Alonso for 7th. A great weekend for him.
Mclaren: 7 Finally a race with both drivers in points. Perez seems to have his act together. Being behind Force India in constuctors should shake the team a bit.
Di Resta: 9 Had an excellent drive. Had a well-deserved podium snatched by Grosjean. Should be a midfielder to look out for this season.
Sutil: 6 Was taken out early by Massa, but looked poised to pass the Ferraris at the start. Least he took Massa with him...
Force India: 8 Despite being down a driver, the team had a strong start and finish. Passing Mclaren in points should lift their hopes to better things.
Maldonado: 6 Hey, he caught himself from a slide this time! Weekend was still mediocore.
Bottas: 5 Last seen trottling behind the midfield about halfway through.
Williams: 5 Without the Pastor's mishaps, were pretty much anonymous.
Hulkenburg: 5 Nowhere to be seen.
Guitarrez: 1 Really? Got passed by a Caterham?
Sauber: 2 Pretty bad showing today. Guitarrez not looking like a good investment....
Riccardo: 5 Part of the midfield today. Was nowhere on the TV.
Vergne: 4 Taken out pretty early. No lucky recovery for him.
Toro Rosso: 5 Least-seen team of the race. No pocket-change points this weekend.
Bianchi: 5 Lost to Pic and couldnt get past Guitarrez.
Chilton: 4 Not so sensational once again.
Marussia: 4 Pic's finish could be a wake-up call. Perhaps they need those upgrades more than they thought...
Pic: 6 Passed Guitarrez fair-and-square. Dont count this driver out yet in the backmarker battles.
Van Der Garde: 3 Lost a wing to Vergne and almost hit a Marussia in the pits. Lackluster weekend.
Caterham: 5 Shown that they still have some steam left in them.

Webber - 7 - In the thick of the action for most of it, unlucky to lose out to Hamilton in the end.
Alonso - 9 - Fantastic recovery drive.
Massa - 3 - Two punctures. Two punctures. What the hell?
Button - 8 - Some fantastic battles with his team mate and Rosberg.
Perez - 7 - A great way to silence the critics, but he shouldn't have hit his team mate whilst doing so...
Raikkonen - 8 - Snuck up there
Grosjean - 10 - And that my friends, is what we wanted to see. Fantastic effort from the man.
Rosberg - 4 - In the thick of the action, but always going backwards
Hamilton - 6 - Where the devil was he during the first 40-odd laps?
Hulkenberg - 5 - Anonymous. Perhaps that's a good thing considering what his team mate was up to..
Gutierrez - 0 - Crashed into someone on the first lap, finished behind a Caterham on merit. Muppet.
Di Resta - 10 - Have to hand it to the glass of milk, he was on fire all day.
Sutil - 5 - Massa completely screwed his race.
Maldonado - 8 - Far, far better than he's been this season. So nearly nabbed a point.
Bottas - 7 - Yeah, he's alright.
Ricciardo - 4 - Clearly someone else was in the car at Shanghai, as normal service is resumed.
Vergne - 4 - Was crashed into, and became the only DNF of the day.
Pic - 8 - Beat his team mate, the Marussias and that muppet Guttierez to the finish. Great performance.
Van Der Garde - 0 - Absolutely pathetic. Get Kovalainen back in that car ASAP.
Bianchi - 5 - Very meh today.
Chilton - 4 - Bah

Vettel - 9 - (Zzzz...)
Webber - 6 (Anonymous. Gives the impression that he's beyond caring now)
Alonso - 8 (Barring DRS problems, should have been on the podium at least)
Massa - 5 (Did nothing other than have tyre problems)

Ricciardo - 4 (At least he finished. Neither STR looked particularly brilliant here)
Maldonado - 6 (Meh.)
Bottas - 6 (More meh.)
Pic - 7 (Good drive to beat that Sauber bloke)
van der Garde - 4 (Apart from the JEV collision, didn't do much)
Bianchi - 5 (Oh dear, where'd he go since China?)

Re: F1 Rejects Forum Ratings 2013 - R4 Bahrain
Vettel: 9: Textbook Vettel drive, for better or for worse.
Webber: 6: Did well but something tells me his spark has gone.
Red Bull: 9: Probably the most consistent team; no problems with the cars it seems and the pit stops went well.
Alonso: 9: DRS Failure meant he was to be a sitting duck most of the time but still managed to finish in the points. Probably would have won if it weren't for that.
Massa: 6: Unlucky but that collision with Sutil didn't help.
Ferrari: 3: What on earth is going on with the cars? It's amazing that Alonso finished in the points at all and that Massa finished period.
Button: 4: Stop whining about your teammate and start racing.
Perez: 7: Had the measure of Button the whole day; I think the collision between him and Button was 50/50 honestly.
McLaren: 7: Better, but it doesn't hide the fact that they should be higher up. If Force India's pace is anything to go by they should still be worried.
Hamilton: 7: Good racing but fell behind until the last several laps.
Rosberg: 5: Pole to ninth? This is quickly becoming all too familiar...
Mercedes: 5: Let's hope this result is just a fluke and not the start of a trend.
Raikkonen: 7: Solid drive; didn't expect him to get the podium honestly.
Grosjean: 9: This is the Grosjean that we need.
Lotus: 8: The car is quick, but not as quick as Vettel.
Hulkenberg: 4: Anonymous. I think I saw him twice on TV.
Gutierrez: 1: Quickly becoming the new Taki Inoue.
Sauber: 3: If they want results they need to have Kobayashi back pronto. It's clear that Gutierrez is there for the money and nothing else.
Sutil: 7: Unlucky but was blazing fast at the back. Probably would've beaten the McLarens if he wasn't hit by Massa. Also, does he have a "Kick me" sign on his back? This is the 2nd time he was hit from behind.
di Resta: 9: Perfect drive; wish he got the podium but 4th is excellent.
Force India: 8: McLaren and Mercedes should be worried, but they need to get rid of whatever magnets Sutil has so people stop hitting him.
Maldonado: 6: Anonymous but kept it clean.
Bottas: 5: See above
Williams: 4: Probably just biding their time before Spain
Ricciardo: 4: Did nothing really. China seems so long ago now.
Vergne: 4: Needlessly tangled with Van de Garde and then parked his car.
Toro Rosso: 3: Disappointing.
Pic: 8: Passed a Sauber on merit but results like this need to happen more.
Yuji Ide: 1: Wait, that isn't Yuji Ide racing in that Caterham?
Caterham: 5: They need Kovalainen in the car.
Bianchi: 6: Well, you can't have them all. Raced cleanly.
Chilton: 5: Also raced cleanly.
Marussia: 5: If Caterham's pace is anything to go by they should be worried.
Webber: 6: Did well but something tells me his spark has gone.

Vettel: 10, as a winner deserves
Webber: 6, went nowhere started 7th, finished 7th

Williams: 5, same terrible car but finishes that are better than the car is capable of due to Gutierrez, Massa, and Vergne problems
Pic: 10, in front of Gutierrez and Bianchi
Van der Garde: 5, Derped in comparison to Pic
Caterham: 6
Bianchi: 7, decent run but Pic did so much better.

So that's 40 seconds or so... and he's still behind Alonso, although that would be 10th instead of 15th. Better, but still below Massa's usual abilities.

Re: F1 Rejects Forum Ratings 2013 - R4 Bahrain
Vettel 10 - Flawless performance, though Lotus' qualifying and Alonso's woes played into his hands.
Webber 4 - Went backwards in the second half of the race and picked up a reprimand.
Alonso 8 - Fought admirably with one hand tied behind his back. Had he only made one stop for the broken DRS he had a good chance of 3rd.
Massa 5 - Difficult to rate with all the punctures, but his strategy looked shot when he had to pit so early in the first place.
Button 4 - Destroyed his tyres. IMO, he could have let Perez go, which would probably have meant Checo would beat Hamilton to the line.
Perez 7 - Very racy. Certainly his best performance since Monza.
Raikkonen 9 - Perfectly-executed race, but poor quali cost him a shot at the win.
Grosjean 8 - Recovered well after being knocked out in Q2.
Rosberg 5 - Spectacular racing, but ultimately he probably fought too hard. Bonus point for pole.
Hamilton 7 - Did nothing for the first 3/4 of the race, but came back admirably to pick up more good points.
Hulkenberg 6 - The Sauber really wasn't on the pace of the front-runners today.
Gutierrez 2 - This Sauber really wasn't on the pace of the Caterhams today.
Di Resta 9 - 4th is a fine result. He's made those conservative strategies work well a few times now.
Sutil 6 - Very unlucky. It's always the Ferraris he has trouble with...
Maldonado 7 - Nearly clawed his way into the points. Much better.
Bottas 6 - Williams looked a little more competitive today.
Ricciardo 5 - Very average and anonymous.
Vergne 4 - Was he to blame for the contact?
Pic 8 - Thrashed the rest of the backmarkers and at one point ran 7th.
Van der Garde 3 - A long way off his teammate.
Bianchi 6 - His most anonymous race of the year, but not helped by missing FP1.
Chilton 5 - Closer to his teammate this time round.
Webber 4 - Went backwards in the second half of the race and picked up a reprimand.
Alonso 8 - Fought admirably with one hand tied behind his back. Had he only made one stop for the broken DRS he had a good chance of 3rd.

Also, because he had two tyre failures, he had no other sets to change onto and had to do an extremely long final stint, which dropped him back several places (behind Hulkenberg, Maldonado etc).
